Terrific socks

These socks are well made, super comfortable (in both fit and materials), and warm. They look good, too! Highly recommended for cold weather wear in general and for hiking, snow shoeing, cross country skiing.

I've worn these every other day for a week and a half straight (hiking trip) and they look like they came out of the box! Super comfortable, much nicer than my smartwool socks. They are not thick (like bridgedale's), but standard thickness....so be aware of this if padding is an issue for long term treks.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Cons: CostSO Toasty!

I think there is something wrong with me. Seriously. My feet are just way too cold all the time. I have been suffering since September, I think, and I have other wool socks, but they were not helping. Then, when I got these, I felt so much better!! Oh, they are wonderful.
Comfy, durable, but a bit large

Love these socks. They are more durable than Smartwool socks. I used to have nothing but Smartwool socks. But whenever I flip them over to wash, there are clumps of wool gathered at the heels. Over the course of many washes, Smartwool socks would eventually shed all the material at the heels and become hole-ly. Not so with these Icebreakers. The wool never sheds, and have proven to be quite durable. A word of caution about sizing. They tend to run a bit large. I usually wear a medium for Smartwool, but had to order small for the Icebreakers.
Pros: Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Great valueGreat Socks!

I wore these socks throughout Patagonia (in both Argentina and Chile) where you can experience four seasons in one day. These socks were great; my feet never got hot or cold and the cushioning was perfect. My only complaint is that the top of the socks are a bit too tight around my leg (and I am a thin person.) I solved the problem by turning the tops down a bit; I would have preferred not to have to do this.
Could live in these

These are very comfy and warm socks. The crew part will slip a little but not down to the ankles. The sock hugs my feet just right. They are light and not too bulky.

I wear it to work, travel and sometimes light hiking. Does not have odor and stylish. Got complements on it also. Definitely worth the buy. True to size also.

I can't say enough good things about these socks. My job requires me to wear work boots on a daily basis and I use these socks almost every day. They fit snugly so you don't get crumpled socks on the bottom of your boot, but they are not over-tight. They are holding up extremely well for the amount of wear they get. Icebreaker really knows how to make good quality products!
