Wow, these are small, tight and unforgiving
October 30, 2012
I have been wearing icebreaker for years. I'm a small woman, 110 lbs, 5'4''. All the other leggings I own are a women's small. I ordered these in a small and I can bearly move in them. Are these the kids' size? Not sure, but I'm calling Icebreaker direct to find out what's up with their stuff. I would say go up 2 sizes to get something that may possibly fit. I'm really disappointed, and...no I didn't gain weight if you were wondering. ;0)
Not superbly comfortable
February 22, 2013
For the cost, I think these should be fantastically comfortable, and the main reason I find them not to be so is the waistband-- it is elastic, and doesn't blend in with the rest of the pants: it isn't covered with a layer of cozy wool, and it is also quite tight as compared with the rest of the garment. This creates an unnecessary restriction on the breathing apparatus. The material is fine-- warm, but not warm enough to keep a person toasty in a northeast winter unless that person is doing lots of activity. Appears to be well-made, and I imagine they would last a long while.
