poor fit
Super well made, very breathable and overall wonderfully functional HOWEVER this piece fit me very poorly. I'm 5'3 120 lbs and generally the Small in everything IB fits great. Unfortunately the hood was super tight and the waist was really loose and not flattering at all. I'll pass on this one.

Bought two
This hoody rocks. I wore it literally everyday the first week I got it, and quickly realized I needed two of these. It's light and warm; soft, but thick. The stitching on the sleeves makes for nice ease of arm movement. The hood actually zips up around your head if you zip it all the way (think Blue Man Group), which looks funny, but is very functional. AWESOME hoody.

Perfect Powder
Got the large in black to layer over other IB gear. I'm 5'6" and 143lb. It's a little long in the sleeve, but still fitted enough in the rest of the garment to not add uncomfortable bulk. Curved front and back seams stop it form being box shaped, creating a flattering fit. Size wise I'm probably a medium, but I wanted room for other layers under it. The hood, neck zip area and shoulders fit close and will be excellent in very cold conditions. Have layered it with IB crew and it went on without twisting or hassle. Length came down to below hip which is great. Excellent quality zip. Really excited to have this top. Worth spending the extra $$.

Only shirt I need
I got the powder hood a month ago, and I've lived in it ever since. Keeps me comfortable--warm when I'm lounging at home, or cool when I'm running outside in below freezing temps. Very well made. Never needs washing really. The hood is key. It may be somewhat of a lint magnet, but in relation to all it does for me, I don't even care. Now I wear this shirt for everything, instead of having to change into different patagonia capilene base layers every time I do something more active.

versatile hoody
I have many Icebreaker tops, and this is the one that I wear most. The hood really comes in handy. I got the one in black, with its classic color, I will be wearing it for years. This hoody is quite sporty as well, with the stripes on the arms. I've gotten lots of compliments. Fit is athletic - good for layering under ski jackets, or apres ski bars. Highly recommended.

Ultra chic!
This top is so stylish that you can hardly believe it is so technical. Everytime I were it to ski lodge, getting tons of comments on it. Love it.

Sporty Sexy Sweater
I own an absurd number of Icebreaker tops, but this one really did become an "instant favorite" as the description says! Normally an XS or S in Icebreaker, I bought this sweater in Small and love the fit: it's snug without being constricting and I can easily fit a base layer underneath. I use it for everything from skiing to ice climbing to running errands in town; it always looks good and never smells! Wool is the way to go.

Great all around sweater
I was looking for a good looking, great fitting sweater that could easily be used for skiing, sailing and wearing out for beers with the crew. I also wanted one that didn't become stinky over time. I was very happy when I found this Icebreaker sweater. On my first snowboarding trip this year I coupled this with an Icebreaker 150 longsleeve underlayer and my ski jacket. It kept me very warm! I actually spent part of the day sans jacket and stayed toasty warm. A few days later we went sailing in the San Francisco bay. I wore this under my foul weather gear and was really impressed that it kept me warm even though my sleeves were wet. I was also very happy that I didn't have to pile on so many layers. This allowed me greater freedom of movement than what I have had in the past. Although I have not worn this out around the city yet, the white detailing on the sleeves give this a very sporty look that I love. The only complaint I have with this sweater is that I would have liked a second zip pocket on the hip.
