The Bra I've Been Waiting For
September 10, 2012
I actually bought both this bra and the Ibex Balance Light bra because I couldn't decide. I'm very happy with both and decided to keep them. My reviews for both are basically the same as below. However, the Icebreaker fabric is a bit thicker and the overall design somewhat more minimal. Also the cut is a bit more elegant in my opinion. I would be hard pressed to choose my favorite. I was already a big fan of merino but wasn't sure about underwear. I consider myself very sensitive but this bra is soft and I have no complaints. I've only had it a few weeks so I can't say anything for durability, but it appears well made and merino tends to hold up better than cotton in my experience. It is comfortable and supportive, provides coverage but is also flattering. My bra size is technically a 32D, which can be tricky to fit (or find). I bought it in medium and it's perfect.

I searched for several months for a comfortable, moderate/medium support bra to wear hiking and backpacking. I finally found the perfect bra for my needs. The Icebreaker Siren Bra is comfortable, offers moderate/medium support, lightweight, breathable, and quick-drying. I tried so many other bras/sport bras that just were not comfortable (felt like I was in a straight jacket) and extremely difficult to get on. I am 5'8" and 120 lbs. I wear a size 32B bra. I bought the Siren bra in size small and it fits perfectly. My only concern was with the adjustable straps. I worried that my backpack straps would put pressure on the adjustable part of the bra strap and dig in to my skin. Happily, after several hikes, my concerns were unwarranted. This bra is so comfortable and silky soft that I forgot I had it on. I plan to buy more and only wish I had another color choice.
Pros: Great design, Performance, Ease of use, extremely comfortablenice and comfotable

This is a really nice simple bra. I like the pull- over style because I do not like clips and clasps at the back. The cup size runs slightly small. I first ordered a size small. The band felt good with the small, however the cup size did not fit. I usually wear small or even extra small (as in the old style Patagonia barely bra) or on the smaller side of34B. With the icebreaker siren bra I exchanged for the Medium.

So Comfortable

Love, love, love this bra. It's super comfortable, provides medium support (I'm a 34 B and got the Small, fits perfectly). Great for camping, etc as it doesn't get smelly and dries very quickly.
