Women's Icebreaker Tech T-Lite
May 26, 2011
Merino Wool is the BEST. I'm 5'3", 140 lbs and although the Medium size fits I like my shirts a bit loose so I'm returning this one for the Large. I like the Viola color so much I am exchanging 1 Medium for 2 Large even without it being on sale. Icebreaker tops are terrific because the feminine cut makes them attractive for everyday wear as well being functional for all athletic pursuits. I'm 55 yrs old, cross training for another marathon. I especially like that I can wear an attractive T throughout the day and not need to change when I'm ready for a run or trip to the gym later on.

This shirt really does live up to its claims, and is worth the price. I wear mine every opportunity I get b/c it feels so good. Keeps me warm when necessary, and not too icky when it's really hot out.
versatile

This tee is worth the price. I have it in brown and it does the job - keeps me warm and dry and is nice enough to wear alone/dress up with khakis or whatever your lifestyle entails. I ordered a small, and could use an XS. This tee isn't by any means BIG on me, I just like my things a little bit tighter. I am about 110lbs if that helps with sizing.
Super shirt for a wide variety of uses

I have several of these shirts and use them for cycling, running, hiking, wearing to work and as a base layer. Wool really does have the properties the ads claim -- it doesn't smell, it's warm in winter and cool in summer. Sizing is maybe a tad on the small side. I wear a 2/4 and the small fits me right.
Awesome lightweight shirt

I have a couple of these shirts now and I just love them. They're perfect for a warm day outside, they wick moisture and they don't stink. I also love that you can wear this as a casual shirt and you don't look like you're going backpacking. The fit is slim without being too tight, and they are a good length coming to the hips.
Size change for SS'12
June 06, 2012
I've bought Tech T Lite for years, and the sizing has always been consistent. Until now. This season, spring/summer 2012 (colors such as sprout, gulf, azalea), Icebreaker changed the fit to be a bit more relaxed (which I'm not too happy with) and quite a few inches longer (which I like). Therefore, I would recommend size down from your previous season sizing. Also the fabric feels a little thinner than previous seasons. The tee I received also had a twisted side seam - doesn't affect performance, but something to be aware of. My impression is that while the fabric is as soft as ever, the quality is perhaps a wee bit less than previous years models.

Great everyday shirt

Ive worn this shirt to work for the past month. I work as a physical therapist and it is cool and warm no matter I'm doing. It is lightweight and not itchy, and the violet is a great color! I'm 5'5", 150 and the large fits perfectly, not too loose or too tight.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of use, Great valuegood tee

I have only recenty discovered icebreaker, but I'm hooked and so is my husband. There is no itch, no smell. The fit on this crew is perfect - a women's fit without being overly body conscious. Love it. 5'4", 135 (love handles) size large perfect.
Pros: Great design, Performance, great female fitAlready own the Icebreaker Tech T Lite Shirt? Tell us your thoughts.
Great all-sport tee!

I purchased this shirt in another color (red) 2 years ago (now turquoise), and wear it whenever I'm out hiking, climbing, mountaineering in warm temperatures. I have loved it and wanted another for some time. It is form-fitting without being binding (I'm 5'6" and 120-lbs, wear size S in this shirt). It's great at wicking moisture and doesn't take on odor easily like so many other performance fabrics. My only disappointment is a small hole developing in my older shirt, but I have worn it a lot.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, PerformanceBreathable & Not Stinky!

I love this shirt. Wore it several days on a 10 day sea kayak trip, and it kept me warm when needed.. cool when it warmed up, and didn't stink at the end like synthetics do. Probably my favorite T-shirt ever. It's also very soft and doesn't itch at all.
Love the color

I have another top in brown with the world on it and I wear it all the time. At first, the shirt felt a bit scratchy but after I washed in with some jeans, it has become one of my favorite shirts. I just bought the turquoise and the black henley shirt. My goal is for my next adventure trip, that I bring mostly merino wool items, which will result in a smaller pack and less clothes. And the best part, that I dont have to wash that often as it withstands smells.

comfortable and stylish

I use this oh so soft shirt more as a layer for keeping warm. I got the Belize color. I've washed it several times and it still looks amazing. I'm 5'4 and 115lbs the small fits me perfectly.
Beautiful shirt, gorgeous color!

This is a lovely shirt, and a great addition to the color palette. I bought the shirt in a pink shade last year and am very happy to have this one. It packs terrifically and is great as a base layer in winter and on its own in summer. One tip, though: I find the fabric a bit sheer, so make sure to wear with a neutral color bra!
Love the material

Lightweight, cool, soft, drapes well. I chose the viola which is a beautiful color. I am 5' 125 lbs and I got the medium The medium fits loosely but is not loose in a way that is shapeless. In this brand the small size tends to fit me snugly and I wanted a bit more room in a t-shirt. The fabric is so nice that it is difficult not to purchase at least one of every Icebreaker item!
