We are casual kayakers, mainly slow moving rivers, although we may take it down to the Sea of Cortez. At first I thought it was too much kayak for me to handle alone (I bought it to use as both a single and a double), but now that we've used it, I see who easy it is to inflate, deflate and carry around. The only complaint I have is that the instructions with it are terrible, but we eventually figured everything out. The seats are a little low to make a regular PFD comfortable, so we're going to have to get ones made for kayakers. There's room for our standard poodle on board, although he likes to ride sprawled across my legs. Overall, we are very satisfied.

This is the most versatile touring boat I’ve ever encountered. It can be set up as a double or single, and the open deck makes it a great dive platform. It can carry two people and two mid-sized dogs. It’s the fastest inflatable on the market, but it’s still amazingly maneuverable. This isn’t like the pool-toy inflatables of the past - it’s made out of the same stuff as whitewater rafts. Mine has only minor scuffs after two years of punishment in rivers, lakes, and oceans. Best of all, I can fit TWO of them in the trunk of a Miata. (It’s also a good way to meet people, since I always get lots of questions when I pull two 13-foot boats out of my 12-foot car.)

We've owned an inflatable raft and a folding kayak in addition to the Sunny. The Sunny is our favorite!
It stores compactly and inflates easily. The boat tracks well in flat water, which is were we use it exclusively. There's room for two plus our terrier. We are pleased with how easily the boat paddles, and it's been problem-free after a year. Overall, a well designed boat for those with limited storage room. Excellent value.
