I am a personal trainer and avid Obstacle Racer and I put my shoes through the ringer on a weekly basis. The X-talons have held up to the worst punishment I could dish out including full submersion in stinking Georgia Red clay mud and kept on trucking. The shoes are extremely lightweight even when wet and the traction is stupendous. My new Inov-8's are in a rotation of shoes that include New Balance Minimus MT20's and Adidas Kanadia's and I always look forward to their turn on the trails. I am a dedicated forefoot runner and minimalist and these shoes offer great feedback and agility on rough terrain. My only complaint was that many who purchased these told me to order a half size up for proper fit which I did. I should have just ordered my correct size. Other then that I have had no issues with the shoes and my next purchase will most likely be more Inov-8's.
Pros: affordable, lightweight, great traction, breathable, drains quickly
