Best summer skirt
May 10, 2011

I bought this skirt in black last summer, and I wore it several times a week. The fabric was cool and breathable. Also, it dries very, very quickly. The skirt looks great with any t-shirt or top, and the wrap-around A-line style was very flattering for my 5'7" 145-lb body. Also, it hit right at my knee, which is perfect for me. I took this skirt to a girls camp this summer where I worked as a river guide for a week and I was the envy of the camp. It was hot, and even shorts were miserable, but I was nice and cool in my skirt. Also, it looks great over a swimsuit. I'm now ordering the other colors for this summer.

Good quality - but reservations for travel
November 13, 2012

This skirt is very well made, but I'm not sure as a travel skirt if it's got everything it could have. Would be nice if there were two hand pockets, and perhaps a hidden waist band pocket for money, along with the other pockets already on the skirt. You can never had too many pockets, so thank you Isis for giving us a couple at least. I was looking for a skirt that was a bit modest, but still cool for travel in SE Asia. The length is perfect for this - hits right at my knees. It is a bit on the heavy side for a travel skirt and may be too warm, and I am still undecided if it is going with me or not. Definitely know the fabric will not wrinkle, and will dry fast. I love Isis for travel clothing, but wish they had taken this just a bit further.

Great for curvy figures
December 12, 2010

This skirt was a great travel buy, light and breathable for warm days with 50+ sun protection. The cut is A-line and flattering to the figure. I am 5'4'' and 130 pounds, have a small waist and curvy thighs, the fact that this skirt has a tie and adjustable button waist makes it a great buy for someone with my shape. Normally I fit into a medium cut, but ordered a small and it fits great. Material does wrinkle if you don't pack right, but for outdoor trekking this did not matter to me. Great buy!

Nice Skirt
February 11, 2013

I bought this to wear over bike shorts on an upcoming vacation; not sure if it isn't too long for that but am keeping it anyway. It is versatile and comfortable while maintaining a neat appearance. There's enough overlap so that "unwrapping" in a breeze shouldn't be a problem. At 5'8", 128 lbs, the small fits me as long as I wear it a bit lower than usual. It hits me just above the knee.

Pros: Ease of use

Fabulous style, great quality
June 09, 2011

I love this skirt - the wrap style is comfortable and flattering and the material is light weight and seems very wrinkle resistant. I purchased it specifically for travel because it has a passport pocket and seemed to be both durable and stylish. The small size is too big for me (even with the two buttons in the waist), so I'm returning it for an XS. I am 5'3" and 125 lbs. I can't wait until the XS arrives!

XS very large
September 02, 2011

My waist is 25-26, the XS was about 4" too big. The fabric is wonderful and it would be perfect for traveling, looking a bit dressed up, but comfortable and easy care. Too bad there is not a size to fit me. I'm 5'1",about 100 lbs.

Playground ready
May 20, 2011

Standard delivery from Altrec was super fast. I put this skirt on immediately and I'm very pleased. I don't like shorts; I feel cuter and more comfortable in skirts. This is a great alternative to shorts. It's casual but not at all sloppy. I wear a pair of low-rise cotton bike shorts underneath and I feel ready for whatever a day with a very active kid might bring.

I love it!

Fits well, covers well, but still fun. I get hot easily, and I found it to be cool and just fine. I can wear it traveling, dress it up for work (teaching), and be comfortable all the time. I love it! The wraparound styling lets you customize the waist size on one of two buttons, which is nice and flexible. I'm a petite 5'2, and it hits just around the knee. Perfect.

Just what I was looking for
July 19, 2011

This skirt is made of very nice wrinkle free material. It hangs perfectly! For most people, it probably fits to size. I am 5'4' and weigh 117 lbs.. It hits me at the top of my knee cap. For me, the waist on the XS is about a 1/2 inch too loose. Moving the buttons can fix the problem. I wear it at my waist . If it was worn slightly lower, it would be just fine. It is a fabulous travel skirt. It can be dressed up or down. I can't emphasize how nicely it drapes. The wrap-around design makes it comfortable for flying, walking and even biking. Hop off a plane and put on some dressier shoes and you are good to go for all but a formal evening out. Great skirt!!!!!!

Good travel skirt, but too hot for me
May 15, 2010

There are some good things about this skirt, but I ended up returning it. The material would be good for traveling because it wouldn't wrinkle and would dry fast, I think. The fact that it is a wrap around skirt which makes for 2 layers on the front, and it is mostly made of nylon, made it feel too hot for me though. It fit well and looked good, with an A-line design, and came just at my knee (5'4" height)which I liked. The pockets were secure, but for a travel skirt a few more would have been nice. The seams were nice, it draped well and it appears well made. Just a personal decision whether you like the wrap around style.

I purchased this skirt for travel. It fits nice; looks great on and is comfortable. And I love the front pockets. I would buy this again, in fact I'd buy two. :)
