When the cold wind is blowing down city streets, or that full body cold sinks in at your kids hockey game, the Isis Snow Queen Coat fits the harshest of colds with head-to-knee down-filled coverage. The faux fur-trimmed hood is removable and the tailored collar is velvet lined and luxuriously soft. Microfleece front hand pockets velcro out the cold, and inner pockets keep your wallet and cell phone safe. I live in the Chicago area where we have a cold, windy winter. I've been searching for a warm coat and reviews I read sent me here! The magnetic closure makes it very simple and the hood is just great! I have yet to try it out in the really cold weather because it is already April but am anxious to try it next winter. My only suggestion would be that the coat be longer. I am 5 feet tall and the coat comes to my knees. Boot length would increase the warmth factor. Thanks!

This coat is very warm, light, and very flattering. You will not look like the Michelin Man in this coat, even with a sweater layered underneath. The cut is flattering, yet provides ample room for movement. Even though it covers your knees, you are able to walk easily. It feels like wearing a good-looking sleeping bag. You won't regret it.

I love,love,love my Snow Queen Coat. I bought two of them for my daughter and myself to take on our trip to Russia, Norway, and Sweden. It will be perfect!! The hood is very ample. The size is very adequate and even big enough to allow layering and a sweater. It is lightweight, but oh, so warm. Did I happen to mention that I love this coat?
warm in brooklyn - 2008-12-25great coat
Warm coat and I'm usually freezing. In 12 degrees wind chill all I wore was a shirt and a sweater and felt fine. The coat has a slight A line and runs a little big below the waist so I went down a size. Still plenty of room for a bulky sweater. Snug and comfortable neck closure.

Very well made and good looking coat. Like it alot overall. Just wish that the collar was finished a little better with a sportier look. The magnet closure is really nice.

Loved the look of this coat. Nice green color too. Unfortunately, it really runs large in the waist/hip area. They were out of the smaller size, so I'm going to try something else. A waist cinch cord would have been nice...
