Waterproof in a downpour and windproof on an exposed ridgeline, this rain coat has an attached, fully adjustable hood, a drawcord at the hem and Velcro tabs at the cuffs to help retain body heat. Lined with mesh to help wick moisture for a nice next-to-skin feel, this winter jacket has a Micro-Chamois™-lined chin guard to prevent zipper chafe. Shoulders, sleeves and other high-wear areas have panels to enhance abrasion resistance so you can bushwhack, scramble over granite and wear a backpack without damaging your rain shell. If the trail takes an uphill turn, unzip the underarm vents for more airflow. Use it for wet fall hiking in the North Cascades or pull it on over warm mid layers for a day of skiing at White Pass.
