In fact, this year's version of the Theta AR is significantly lighter than in years past, offering a greater level of comfort and packability. Crammed with features to satisfy the outdoor professional or hardcore alpine enthusiast, the Arc'teryx Theta AR makes up for any excess weight this may add by employing industry leading innovations, such as micro seam allowances and tiny GORE-TEX® seam taping. But toughness and saving weight isn't all that this jacket is about. Waist and hem drawcords, articulated elbows, and no-lift gusseted underarms allow for full range of motion while blocking cold drafts and spindrift. Laminated zippers and bonded soft grommets contribute to the jacket's supple feel, and the one hand pull cords are exceedingly convenient when one hand is busy gripping an ice axe on an airy traverse.
