It features a stretchy three-layer fleece outer face backed with a waterproof and highly breathable XT.L™ 5,000-mm. membrane. Spyder treated the fabric with their proven Spylon water repellent finish to keep precipitation and melting snow rolling off the exterior. Depending on the colors available, the chest zipper features contrast detailing. We like the zippered pockets because we can always secure our car keys while shuffling over compact snow and ice to the local shops. Another nice touch is the elevated alpine-style collar for enhanced coverage in cool breezes.
