Typical high quality and good design from JanSport. I especially like the big outside stretch pocket as I can use this for quick stuffs, including wet shoes from stream crossings, and it has a couple of loops as well. I planned to use this a a day carrier for peak bagging and fishing and keep it in my full size backpack. It has plenty of space for the extra layers advisable in the 11 to 14,000 foot region, water bottles, and small pouch for lures and such. However, I did return it because I decided to cut a few ounces and try a NF ultralite day pack instead. Over half a pound weight saved! But I may come back for this one as a day hike only alternative to my larger packs. Kudos to Altrec for quick shipping, easy return and fast communication!
