Worth it! Kept me from singeing the hair off my knuckles!
July 14, 2010
I was a little hesitant to spend $15 bucks on a fork and spoon, but this set is awesome. It is super lightweight and surprisingly durable. The utensils extend to a length that let me scramble my eggs over the fire without burning off all my handsome knuckle hair, but they weren't so long as to be cumbersome. And the spatula scooped the leftovers from the edge of the pot beautifully. Perfect utensils for backpacking - buy them!
Better than I expected
August 01, 2009
After years of using old kitchen tableware, sporks and even military kits I took the leap and ordered two jetboil utensil kits. I have used them twice and they are more durable than I expected and so far have been all I needed. They are light weight and the sliding handles make them easy to store.
Excellent addition to your cookset

I am not a fan of the Spork, thus the Jetboil Utensil Kit was perfect for me. It is light weight and packs away nicely. The Spatula is nice to flip pancakes and scramble eggs.
Great product

Works great for eating out of any jetboil product. Also works well for eating out of dehydrated meals too.
Work Great
August 06, 2010
These utensils work great and are extremely light weight. I use the fork and spoon with the Jetboil Flash because they reach to the bottom of the cup. The utensils collapse to fit inside the Jetboil Flash - so they take no room in my pack. The spatula works great when using my Jetboil Fry Pan.
Light weight and easy to carry

Handy utensils

These kits are very useful. I purchased this kit for another jetboil. This is a must-have item if you have jetboil. The utensils fit perfectly in the sleeve and under the pan or pot of jetboil. I cannot use others as this kit doesn't require any extra space in the backpack.
Pros: Great design, Ease of use, Great valueBest All Around Utensil

I performed extensive research looking for the right utensil for my family backpacking experiences. I evaluated price, weight, durability, and multiple uses. I selected the Jetset Utensil Kit due to its compact size, weight, and ability to use with all jetboil products. Not only do the utensils reach the bottom of the jetboil cups, they also reach the bottom of dried food pouches as well. Overall, a great buy!

This is a great addition to my jet boil Helios. They all pack down into the pot nicely so now I have more room in my pack.
Excellent product for backpacking trip or car camping

The Jetboil Utensil Kit is lightweight and packs away nicely. They extend out long enough to keep your hands a safe distance from the stove and are supprisingly sturdy for their light weight.
Great Backpacker Utensils
January 23, 2012
The Jetset Utensil Kit is exactly what I was looking for. They compliment my Jetboil Sol perfectly. They offer what backpackers want in the gear they carry: lightweight and functional. I had been searching for a fork and spoon, and looked at some made of Titanium. But, the cost was more than I wanted to pay. The Jetset Utensil Kit meets my needs for meals on the trail. And, Altrec had the best price. The reason I rated these utensils 4 stars is due to what I think will be their limited durability. A compromise I am willing to take considering their light weight and functional use. I recommend these to anyone in need of cookware for camping or hiking.
Pros: Great design, Performance, Great valueVery light weight

This set weighs next to nothing yet they are stiff enough to use like their metal counterparts. The long handles are a big plus too.

Excellence!! What I expected from Jetboil!!

Excellent. Nothing less than I expected from Jetboil. The toughness is what I was most surprised with. Light, and very durable.
right tool for the job

These utensils are a great match for the jetboil systems, small and compact enough to pack, but tough enough to handle the task at hand.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great valuePerfect

Just like the quality of my jet boil this too is great. It locks in to shape and does not unlock till you press the knotch. Love it! Great quality!Would recommend even if do not use it with jet boil great for and camping set.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Ease of use, Great valuespatula is companion, prefer to eat w other spork

The utensil set doesn't store in the cup, so I don't know why it's collapsible. The collapsible part of it makes it less durable or more material. I prefer the all in one spoon/fork/knife (not spork). The telescoping part on every utensil is nice because it reaches to the bottom of the tall Jetboil cup. The spatula is correct size and length and shape to scrape the bottom and not damage it. I just don't know why they are collapsible, other than appearing to be compact and fit in a cup. To eat with, I prefer the utensil that has a fork on one end, spoon on other end, with knife like serations on one fork tine. Someone will ALWAYS have a knife with to do real cutting anyhow. The spoon on some of these single piece combo eating utensils is big too. Me likey big spoon! "light my fire" spork or titanium utensils should work better, but if the bottom of the Jetboil cup has an itch, nothing could scratch the bottom of it like the Jetboil spatula.
