I bought my pair during the first Gulf War. I still use them. I just wish I could get replacement parts for them.

These glasses are sweet because they do the job and they still look oldschool.
Great for Motorcycle Touring
March 23, 2012
I got these specifically for use on my touring motorcycle (ie with windshield) and they work great! I prefer riding with with a half helmet and sunglasses (don't like gasketed specs), but still got the wind and dust issues from side winds and wind just leaking around. These micropores with side screens solve all that and the hooked ear pieces keep them snug. They appear well made and flexible, so they will take some handling in stride plus they look pretty cool. The side screens will reduce peripheral vision (like goggles) so be aware of it. Disappointingly, the case is a bit tight and fussy to close and there was no microfiber cleaning cloth included.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Cons: Cost, no lens clothLove these glasses

I bought these glasses when I was in Iraq. I not only loved them for thier looks but also for the protective abilities. They protected my eyes from the relentless sun but also kept a lot of dust and sand (wich is always blowing) from getting in. I only have a couple of small problems with them. The rubber nose piece wore down rather quickly and the leather side pieces curl up rather fast after sweating or contact with water. I am currently trying to replace these pieces. I have been asked about these glasses by many co-workers in Iraq and in the States, and have pointed them in the Julbo direction.

I have used these in Colorado on sunny days on the slopes. They offer excellent protection from ambient light. The adjustability of the frames, nose and ear pieces pieces will fit anyone. I recommend going to an optical shop and having them adjust everything to fit your face. After having that done it really improved the fit and blockage of ambient light. They are very comfortable and have the old school look I like. They are very secure on the face and don't shift around when active. I got a number of comments from people on the lift and in lift lines, even from the employees. I can highly recommend them to someone wanting the ultimate in fit and function.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great value, look great and feel good, Cons: noneOutstanding Sunglasses

Background: I purchased these shades to wear while riding my motorcycle. I wear a ½ helmet and ride a V-twin chopper. I have a slightly rounder face than most people and have high cheek bones. I mention this because 1 or more of these factors may have an impact on the intended results. The Glasses: These glasses are uber lightweight. They do an outstanding job of protecting my eyes from side light. The lenses are of great quality and are crystal clear and are darkened to perfection (of course this is subjective). Getting back to my cheek bones, the bottom edges of the lenses are just right and lightly touch my cheek bones. Conclusion: For my intended application these glasses are not what I need. When riding (approx. 70mph) the glasses have a tendency to vibrate a bit more than normal (just to the point of being distracting (I have also added a strap to try to pull them tight to my face). (I am not sure if it is because they are so lightweight or if it is because of the eye cups catching air). If I wore full face I believe these would be perfect because the arms are super thin and would fit between the brain bucket and temples without issue (but then you would not need the eye cups for wind reduction). I will wear these everyday driving and while riding a bicycle but for the bike the quest will continue.

Great Purchase!

When I first receive the glasses, the legs were a bit tight and started getting tighter as I open and close them. At first I thought it was the screws, but I apply some soap on it and now it's perfect. I use the glass to ride my motorcycle and it does great with keeping the wind out of my eyes. Have a lot of people complimenting the looks, it feels good and fits really well. A definitely great buy!
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of use, Great value, Cons: legs feel very fragile.
