K2 Junior's Bad Seed Ski:
If you skied all your life, you probably remember growing up with kid's skis that were sandwiched with some sort of plywood and urethane and painted with the colors of the skis used by the latest World Cup wonder. Back then kid's skis were all about looks and there wasn't much substance
especially when it came to performance. Too bad you didn't have K2's Factory Team Series Bad Seed skis. Granted, cool twin-tips like these probably didn't exist when you were a kid, but just imagine performance materials like a snappy fir core, durable torsion box construction and triaxial braiding combined with
your youthful optimism. K2's new kid-friendly mid-fat practically guarantees that your young rider won't be the last one down to the lodge, and if he or she is, it's probably because they were comfortably riding switch (backwards) to give the other kids half a chance. Besides being stable and predictable, this Bad Seed has a wider width than most kid's skis, so it's better than most at cutting through the soft snow and untracked terrain that most kids avoid on conventional skis. Because the width is only 85 mm. under the binding, the Badd Seed is still easy to turn on hardpack and crud. These days kids have it so much easier than you did--and with the Bad Seed, you'll have another example to share with them during the long drive up to the ski resort.
