I ordered these boots after returning from a ski trip out in Colorado where my feet were cold in my Uggs and Bogs. I haven't had a chance to wear these boots outside yet as it hasn't been that cold. they seem warm and waterproff which is what i wanted. I ordered a size 7. I am a 6 1/2 or 7. The 7 has a lot of room. I will just wear extra thick socks.

These boots are GREAT in snow and cold. Be sure to order a size larger than you usually wear, I wear a 9, I ordered a 10; and they aren't any too large with a normal weight sock on... not only do these boots provide comfort and warmth in winter, they are just as cute in person as they are online. One thing I'd change if I could, would be to put a pull on the back of the boot to assist in pulling it on, otherwise, I love my boots!

they arrived quick, they are so warm and comfortable, great for winter trail hiking, you even get extra laces and style, I almost want winter to last longer!

These boots are amazing! They are worth the money. I got them in black and love the extra laces. Feet stay dry too in slushy snow. Highly recommend these!!

I had been looking for a long time for boots that would fare well in cold weather and snow. I recently moved to a snowy area and was in desperate need of some foot gear, as I had never lived in a cold climate. The traction is wonderful, I have yet to even stumble. They walk a little heavy, but they more than make up for it in warmth. On mild winter days do not wear thick socks with these.... you will overheat! But that only made me happier because I knew that I could trust these to the most extreme temperatures outside. My only complaint is the laces. Because of their material they are hard to tie tightly. Overall, they are a wonderful purchase!

Durability and style

These boots are durable, flexible, and have a great urban style. They are stylish to wear with black tights or skinny jeans. They are high, so they are fine to trudge in deep snow.

Boots are comfy and keep my feet warm. They do seem a little bit heavy. I love the fact that they come with a second pair of fun colored laces. They do run a bit small as I ordered a size 8 and I usually wear a size 7.

I bought these boots for my daughter and I borrow them all the time - very warm. They do seem to run a bit small and on one toe are a little crumpled inside. Overall, though, great warm boots.

comfortable and warm

These Kamik boots are really good for cold winter! For me they fit true to size. They are indeed waterproof and very warm. I stayed in the snow for several hours in these boots and came out of it with my feet dry and warm. I love these boots very much!

Wrong decision to order size up.

Read reviews on sizing and took advice on ordering a size up. When boots arrived, was much too big. Now have to go through hassle of returning and getting another pair. Apart from sizing issue, boots look cute, and ordering through Altrec was a breeze. Fast and well packed.

I bought these boots in brown for my teenage daughter to have for an upcoming trip to Sweden. She absolutely loves them. She says they are really warm and extremely lightweight which is what she was looking for to travel. She even loves the look and style which is the hardest battle for a 16 year old. No problem with ordering (first time user of site) and they came within a week!

VERY LIGHT WEIGHT AND COMFORTABLE I WOULD BUY ONE IN EACH COLOR...ITS A GREAT PRODUCT, MY FRIEND BOUGHT ME ANOTHER BRAND AND IT WAS SO HEAVY THAT I HAD TO RETURN THEM..THIS HAS BEEN THE WORST WINTER IN YEARS IN NYC AND MY FEET STAYED NICE AND DRY AS WELL AS WARM..

Couldn't Have Been More Pleased

I planned a last minute day trip to the snow - had NO appropriate foot attire, so what did I do? Paid a visit to Altrec.com of course! Came across the Kamik Women's Brooklyn Snow Boots - saw that they were a decent price and actually looked pretty cute too. My feet are very particular and large (I wear an 11) so it makes it hard to find anything both functional AND cute. Upon their arrival I opened the box and yep - looked just as they were pictured (which is RARELY the case, I find). Because my feet are so big, I can't fudge sizes like so many smaller footed gals can. Fit was great - very true to size. Though I wore a thicker sock with them (only because I hate being cold), they fit just as nicely if wearing a thinner sock. Socks has no impact on the fit or feel of the boot. But the true test still remained...how will they do in the snow? After a good 3 hour hike, my feet were as warm and dry as they were when I got out of my car. Impressively, the boots were also just as comfortable as when i first put them on. Would highly recommend. I love them, and so do my feet.
