sizing challenge
Ordered for my daughter, who wears a true size 8 in almost everything, expecting a generous fit with an 8; she could barely get her foot in and so we sent back. we did like the purple, which is more lilac-y than an eggplant purple. Note it's not that tall a boot, too. Would have kept if it fit.

Not my purple
I usually wear 8-8.5, have narrow heels and small calves, and the 8 in the Heidi fit like a glove. Unfortunately, the "deep purple" that has also been referred to as "plum" on other sites is more like an electric purple. If it weren't for the color, I would have kept these boots and worn them for life!

Nice shiny rain boots
After reading many of the posted reviews I opted for the half-size up. I should have ordered a half size down instead. I always wear a 6-1/2 hiking shoe and I could have ordered a 6 and feel that they would have fit more snug. Even with a thick pair of socks these boots are too roomy in the length and width. They are a comfortable fit though and top quality rain boots. Even with my pants tucked there is plenty of room at the top. I look forward to using them.

Narrow!
I wear a standard 8.5M shoe. I ordered a 9, but this was so narrow!! It fit my foot like glove without socks - that won't fly in the NE. I've returned for a larger size & I'm hopeful. Otherwise, quality is amazing - they look like they will last a lifetime. And the tread on the bottom is great for slippery sidewalks.

Great boot!
Love the look and shine of these rainboots. I was surprised to find out they only rise part-way up my calf. Also, if you are a half-size, definitely order up. I've worn them a few times all day long and they have been comfortable. Plus, I received lots of compliments. :)

Great Rainy Day Purchase
Just what my college aged daughter needed for mucking through a soggy campus. Warm, fashionable, roomy. She normally is an eight but the nine fit well with a good sock. Super Shiny!

Great rain boots
These boots fit very well (I normally wear 7.5 so I bought an 8 and they fit perfectly) and look great. They're sleek and I like the plum color a lot. 100% waterproof and nice tread on the bottom.

Just what she wanted
My 14 year old grandaughter asked for a purple rainboot. These boots had a very good rating so I purchased the plum color although the plum is a very dark purple almost black, she loves the color and the fit. They are a quality book that will last a long time.

Lightweight, comfortable, & Stylish!
I've had these boots in red (they are not as cherry red as the picture, more of a bright maroon) for over a year now and still love them, and get complements all the time. I walk about 1 mile to work and then home again, a few days a week. They are remarkably comfortable for a pair of rain boots, and have the best support of any of the millions I tried on in my search (including the much more expensive Hunters). I have no problem walking long distances in them. Since they are a bit shorter, my "athletic" calves fit in them better than the traditionally higher wellies, although getting a regular pair of jeans in them is still a bit of a challenge, skinny jeans do fit much easier. I would caution if you are buying these for winter wear, they are not insulated and get very cold if you don't have liners or warm socks...may want to factor that into your size. Also, they have gotten a bit scratched up over time from snow/ice/etc, but overall have held up very well.

I like the color. It's more of a cherry red. I'm a 9 1/2 and the 10 fit well. Haven't had a chance to wear them in the rain yet, but they feel comfortable.

Dancing in the rain!
I've worn my kamik Heidi boots two days in a row. They are a great height and I love the plum color. I'm normally a 8.5, but bought a 9. The fit is a bit big on me although other reviewers advocate going up a size. I placed an additional insole in the boot and wear them with thicker socks for a perfect fit.

Very well made, form fitted, rain boot!
Because it is formed so well, I recommended a size larger. I normally wear an 8, but because I will be using these to slip on and off for outside chores, the perfect snug fit of an 8 was too tight. With a pair of warm socks, size 9 is the way to go for me!

Best rain boots ever!
I've tried on at least 50 pairs of rain boots and I can honestly say these are awesome. They fit perfectly in every area - ankle, toes, foot, calf which is hard to come by. They're very comfortable as well. I got black and khaki which is more brown than tan - exactly what I was looking for. The pictures dont do these boots justice. I plan to wear them in the rain and snow with a fleece liner for cold weather. Great purchase.

Love them. You should buy them!
I bought 2 pairs of the purple women's boots and I just love them!! They are dark (which is nice for winter and fall), but they can also look purple in the sunlight (good for spring when the sky isn't as dark). The lining is comfortable, cushy and warm. I have only worn them a few times since I bought them and I can't wait till fall. I hope they do not split like many other boots do.

Great, fun boots
I got these boots to wear at a summer camp counselor job and they're great -- really colorful (not quite as shiny purple as the picture but still purple)and waterproof. They do run small though, so you may want order a size up from usual.

I can't wait until winter to wear these rain boots. These boots are stylish and the color is a shiny deep grape. In reading previous reviews, I decided to size up. I'm glad I did because they are a bit narrow in the heel. A good purchase.

They run a little small, which was perfect for my narrow feet, and may be tight at the leg for some people. If you're not sure what size to get, i'd go for the larger one.

Pleased!
I just received the boots a few minutes ago and I am very pleased. They are very comfortable and very stylish. Reading previous reviews a few customers mentioned to go 1 size up if you wanted to wear thick socks; I'm glad I read those reviews because these boots would've been a little snug. The only thing I was disappointed with was the color. I ordered the boots in plum and the image on the website looks like a shiny purple. When I opened my packaged I thought I received the boots in black, but I put them against the sunlight and I can see purple. So, if you are wanting to order these boots in plum keep in mind they don't look as a shiny purple as the lightened image.

Fantastic Boot
I love these boots. The fit is great, they actually have some shape & support, they aren't slipping off your heel, but if you are a half size order up. They are great boots at a great price.

Very happy I chose these boots
Got them in the khaki - am now drooling over the purple. Yes, the khaki (which has a lovely subtle dark green shine) is more sensible .... Wore them out in the slush with a pair of heavy wool socks, and even my cold feet were fine. Very happy I got these boots

Best boots EVER! So, so cute
First outing in new boots: 7 miles in rain. No blisters,dry feet,& many compliments. Not clunky; perfect for NW weather(45-50 degrees)where some heavy boots make for sweaty feet. Best yet, they're shapely & stylish. My feet are sz 5-1/2C(bought sz 6) & slip on & off easily & don't slip at heel, perfect fit at calf. My daughter is sz 6-1/2B & she also can wear my boots, tho they don't slip on as easily for her. Ended up having to buy her a pair also. These are my go-to boot. Bought plum originally, then burgundy - both great colors

Great Shoe but a little tight
Bought this shoe in my size and it was a little tight. I also suggest a fun color I picked the khaki and it was a little boring I'm gonna go for the Blue one in a bigger size now!

I love these boots
My boots are comfortable and they are true to size for me. I can walk long distances and they don't pinch or rub. Very comfortable.

Fantastic Boots
These boots have been a fabulous addition to my winter gear. I live in Chicago and from splashing through puddles to sloshing through snow, these boots are comfortable, warm, and keep my feet absolutely dry. Plus, they look great. I highly recommend them!

I love these boots!
These are the most appropriate boots for slushy wet weather when heavier snow boots are too warm. I ordered chocolate and am very pleased with the color. It's a beautiful warm dark brown. I was uncertain about the size and ordered my true shoe size-7-they're perfect and thick socks can be worn with them. They are a little bit more stylish than a normal rain galosh so I don't feel awkward in them and they have good traction. I'd highly recommend this rain boot!

Just a little too short
The boots were comfy, just a little too short on my legs. I returned them but reordered the same brand in a different style. Also, the color is a shiny, pretty dark olive green. Not bad, just not what was expected. Recommended if you want a mid-calf rain boot!

cool rainboots
i didnt want all those crazy prints on the boots since that doesnt really match with anything a person wears so this boot(which is a forest/olive green boot) does the trick. i went straight for a puddle and yes it's waterproof.

loving my new boots!
I just got my boots by Kamik in the khaki color and I love them. It's a well made boot that looks great with jeans or nice slacks. The khaki color is a dark olive green color and they are comfy. Can't wait until it rains again so that I can try them out.

love the boots- much less flimsy than others I'd seen before and very shiney!look decent enough to wear with tights 2 things to note- there isn't much ankle support (as with all rainboots) and the khaki is a dark green - like an olivey forrest green
