I was interested in a pair of tall rain boots and discouraged by the price of the Hunters. These look great. I prefer the matte black to the Hunter's shiny black. They are nice and tall and stylish enough to wear even when it's not raining. I wear an 8 or an 8 1/2. I bought the 8s thinking I might have to return them, but they fit fine except for a wide heel (always a problem for me, especially with boots). They are hard to take off. Because they are made of rubber, a vacuum seal occurs as you take your foot out.
