These boots seem to be constructed really well. They look good and are substantial (a bit on the heavy side but not surprising since the rubber is thick, which is good). I've worn them twice. The last time I wore them, I walked in streams of water and nothing got through. They seem like they'll last a while. I can't give an excellent rating because I've only worn them twice and will need to wear them longer to see how they survive. These boots match the description. I think they look almost exactly like the Kamik Ellie boot, but the Ellie boot has more insulation. I don't need that much because I live in LA. If you want to get a better view of the boot, you can go to the Ellie page because there's a video there. These boots are for people with thinner calves. The circumference of my calf is 13". I can tuck tapered leg/close-fitting jeans into the boots easily. I haven't tried them with pants that have a wider leg, but I'm sure they'll be ok, too. If you wear a half size, make sure to round up.
