Warm and lightweight

I bought a size 8 in the all black color. The shoes are warm and lightweight. I thought they'd feel heavier than they really are and it's true to size as I always wear a size 8 and these did not seem too tight or loose. However, the back did scrape my skin above my ankle area, this has happened before with a different pair of snow boots I owned (a Sorel brand) and I'm not sure if it's a common thing. The scraping is due to some piece of cardboard or some similar material within the siding of the boots but it only scratched me a little bit and I just loosened the boot a bit and it seemed to help.
