A Secure-fit Lace Capture System cinches up quickly and easily so you can spend more time playing outside and less time dressing her for it. These Keen sandals have an EVA midsole and a non-marking rubber outsole that provide support and traction as she takes her first steps. The patented Keen Footwear Toe Protection wraps the outsole up and over her toes to insure against stumbles she can’t avoid. Great shoes

These shoes have been great for our daughter during the hot summer. If you're new to Keen sandals for kids/toddlers - they are fantastic. They are easy to put on/take off, they wash off and dry quickly, and they are extremely well constructed. However, there is one drawback - they tend to stink after a few wears without washing. We owned a pair of Keen Newport H2 sandals but they quickly developed quite an odor, I think at least partially because they do not have great ventilation in the smaller toddler sizes. In contrast, these protect the front of her toes the same, but have less fabric on the sides allowing for much better ventilation. As a result they seem to stink much less. Overall, we would highly recommend these - For summer kids/toddlers shoes, you won't find a better option out there.
