Sizing : I'm about 5'10'' with a light female build (125 lbs) and this pack fits me perfectly - the strap across the front is moveable (can slide it up and down the shoulder straps), the padded straps are curved so as to actually suit the shape of my back, and it is incredibly comfortable whatever I put in it. I have it adjusted almost to the smallest size - it could be cinched a bit more to suit someone just a bit smaller than me (although it certainly would not fit a person/child under 4 1/2' tall) and there is A LOT of room for adjustment for people larger than me. It looks a bit small at first, but a truly surprising amount of stuff fits into this backpack! Pockets keep it well organized, the laptop compartment is PERFECT - thickly padded, suspended so it's not touching the bottom of the pack, and the back of the pack is so padded I never even notice there's a laptop directly against it. Excellent waterproofing - been wandering around in the rain for the last week with it and the only thing that's come through it wet has been the water bottle in the outer pocket. Great for traveling because of the weight distribution of pack, waterproofing, durability, and comfort even with a lot of weight in it for long periods of time. Small number of small interior pockets (5 that are about 4"x4"-I guess I'm kind of a pocket freak :) ), but there are many larger pockets I didn't see online that are very very helpful on the front of the pack under the flap. Just need to pick up a pencil bag/box!
