Buckles snap and laces knot, but the Secure-Fit lace capture system on Keen's Kid's Newport H2 Sandals eliminate the unnecessary frustrations with getting ready to go outside. Keen's Kid's Newport H2 has a special waterproof polyester webbing that's better suited for play around water than other sandals with leather straps. There's also a hydrophobic SBR lining that helps keep the straps from rubbing against damp skin (be sure to size properly). Up front Keen's patented toe bumper protection helps protect young feet from unseen trail obstructions and hidden river rocks. Like Keen's adult-sized footwear, Kid's Newport H2 Sandals have supportive metatomical EVA footbeds to optimize comfort. If you live near a beach or your kids just like to hang by your backyard pool, these are perfect sandals for throughout the year.

I've had two pairs of Keen Sandals. They are incredibly comfortable and attractive, and they last. When I saw the kid's sandals in the same pink as my size 7.5's (Crocus), I had to buy them for my 6 yr.-old niece -- she loves pink.

This is the second pair of Keen Kid's Newport H2 Sandals I have purchased from Altrec.com for my 5 year old son. I first bought him a pair in Pinecone and now a pair in Navy. He wears them everywhere and all day long. I recommend these Kids Sandals to every Mom.

Got these for my 3 year old grandson and we love them. He can wear them to school, church, lake, pool and never have to worry about his little feet. They look great and wear really good. Only problem is we don't have all colors yet!!!!

We bought these for my 2 year old son. He attends daycare and the rule is toes must be covered. His little feet sweat throughout the day so we wanted something cooler for him. The Keen Newport H2 Sandal is perfect. They are well made and fit the bill... and the biggest plus, they are washable!

My son loves these. They do run a bit small though. My son normally wears a 9 1/2 but I ordered him a 10 in these and they are just right. Customer service was great too. We'll be ordering our next pair from Altrec!

I ordered these for my 8yo and 4yo boys. The moment they arrived in the mail we had to open them and wear them. They just about haven't taken them off since! These are great shoes. Has the look of a sandal and the function of a tennis shoes. They'll be PERFECT this summer!! You can't go wrong ordering a pair.

Finally a sandal that my 3 1/2 year old son doesn't have a total melt-down over! I convinced him that he could wear these in the water and get them wet and that sealed the deal. He actually picked out the color and liked them when they arrived. That's a definite good thing!

My kids love their Keens and so do I. My 3 year old puts them on and takes them off by himself. My 5 year old wore hers last summer and she is still wearing them. They last forever and are easy to clean.

My son has inserts in his shoes. Crocks and other summer sandals don't work for him because they can't hold the inserts. (No Backs) These shoes have a sturdy back with a sandal top. Not to mention they look very cute on him.

I bought these for my 2 & 3 year olds in the new Mandarin red color. They loved them immediately and started wearing them every day. They are tough on shoes and we live in a warm climate and so far they are meeting all our expectations and more. They can both get them on and off with minimal help from me. Worth the money, hopefully they'll wear them through the summer but if not I'll be buying another pair when they do outgrow.

our whole family has them. only issue is that when they're wet they are heavy and take a while to dry (several hours)so a drag at the beach.

My children prefer the new design and are enjoying the H2 more than the regular Newport due to the ease of getting them on and off. We took these shoes to Disney World and the children never complained about their feet hurting. They are my favorite- perfect for everything.

This is a great shoe for kids. Although my husband will say he loves his just as much. The sell the features well, waterproof, machine washable, etc. But the support and protection they offer small feet are something I have not found in another summer sandal. The closed toe makes them perfect for hikes in the woods or playing in the wood chips. They are easy to get on and off even for my 4 year old. I am very happy with the shoes and the service I received from Altrec.

Son, 3 year old, loves his Keens.
He won't wear any other shoe.
He has a wide foot and keens fit that kind of foot very well.
I also like that I can throw them in the washing machine.
The only problem with them is that they make his feet smell. But I would still recommend!

This Keen is a very nice sandal that is very easy for our daughter to put on by herself. While pricey (reason it gets 4 instead of five stars), seems to be worth it if it holds up to the wear and tear of a 5-year old over a summer.

I purchased the Keen shoe on a friend's recommendation for my 4 year old and 2 year old. We have an upcoming trip to Texas planned and I wanted something supportive and tolerant of water. The shoes are good quality, fit nicely, and the kids loved them. I liked the free shipping. The one negative - my son's fit lengthwise, but were loose at the ankle and it's difficult to tighten any more because the velcro is only towards the end of the strap.
