Waterproof and breathable, thanks to a waterproof nubuck leather upper and a KEEN.DRY™ membrane, this slip-on is also well insulated with 200 gram weight KEEN.WARM™ synthetic insulation. The removable footbed sports Thermal Heat Shield, a reflective foil which reduces thermal conductivity and bounces heat back to your foot. Elastic side panels make for easy on and off, and an injection molded EVA midsole offers all day cushioning and shock absorption. The dual climate rubber outsole is specially formulated to handle snow and ice, while a thermoplastic urethane shank offers support, stability and protection. Around town boot...
November 17, 2010

Keen comfort around town, when its wet and cold. If you don`t mind the slip in the heel, while you walk, order your normal Keen size.

Was looking for a slip on boot for winter to use when taking the dog out. Unfortunately, this boot failed in a couple areas. Although the sizing seems to run about the same as my athletic shoes the heel slippage was bad. I tried to make it work with a heel cup, but no luck. Had to ship them back.

Cons: heel slips

Comfy and Warm!
October 15, 2011

Comfy, warm and waterproof! I love these boots and use them daily as my "go to' outdoor footwear around the ranch. These boots handle all chores from mucking horse stalls to welding. The liner is sewn in, so no hasseling with removable liners trying to come out each time you take your boots off. Liner is not thick so the boot is not too bulky or thick. I give them an A+, mine replaced a worn out pair of Keen San Antonio mids.

Anchorage Boot
October 19, 2011

I have the highest regard for Keen brand footware and walk in their shoes everyday. My problem with the Keen Anchorage Boot is the fit around the ankle is to large, allowing the boot to slip on the heel as I walk.

So far so good
March 24, 2011

I bought these boots on sale and haven't had a great chance yet to put them to the test in snow, but am looking forward to the opportunity. So far, they fit well, are true to size, seem warm, are easy to get on and off and look great.

Great versatile boot
January 22, 2012

Bought these for walking the dog. They are comfortable, warm and dry. Nice and wide at the toe and overall great fit. Wonderful as my go to winter boot. I am 6'2" 235 and have suffered from Plantar fascitis in the past. These feel good. They are attractive as well. I even wore them to church last night. All around great boots.

Nice warm boot
February 03, 2011

I ordered these boots because I'm always in a hurry, and these are slip ons. I love that it has front and back pulls for easy on and off. The boot seems a bit thin, but my feet are never cold. It's a bit tight in the toe box at my normal size but not uncomfortably so. I really like these boots, and they're well made, I can see them lasting a long time.

Warm,even without socks
February 27, 2011

I was able to preview these boots because my son bought a pair for use in the mountain area of North Carolina. I asked him to bring them when he visited and I was very impressed with the quality. My feet are rather wide, as are my son's feet, so we both find Keen's a great fit right out of the box. I slip these boots on, without socks, to go out and get the paper or hit tennis balls to the dogs. We had quite a cold winter and my feet stayed very warm. Frankly, I find Keen's a great value especially when purchased from Altrec. I highly recommend both these Anchorage boots and Altrec.

Pros: Build quality, Lasts forever, Ease of use, Great value

Useful and comfy.

My husband loves these. He has them in the brown color and they really go with everything. They look great with jeans or cords, and are perfect for a hike too. Worth the money!

Every day boot
March 20, 2011

I purchased these boots for everyday use and they have worked out great. Minnesota winters throw everything at you and these boots have handled them all. They are both warm and comfortable and also are easy to take on and off.

Love Keens
April 05, 2012

This is a great boot. I bought a pair for myself a few months ago and from day one they were comfortable and supportive and don't break down. We own a ranch and they get used and I can work all day in them without any foot or leg soreness/fatigue. My hubby was so jealous, I bought him a pair too!

very comfortable
March 05, 2011

This is a very comfortable slip on boot that has a few flaws, at least for me. I'm not a fan of the new "clunkier" toe and sole. Keens are known for this style to begin with, but this shoe has gone too far in that direction. They made a slip on that was very similar to this with the older rib up the front that was less "clunky" and fit better at the top. This newer version of the shoe is too loose at the top causing my heal to slip. The sizing of the shoe is good. I wear either a 10 or 10 1/2 depending on the make of the shoe. I ordered a 10 1/2 that was perfect. All in all if you like this over built Keen toe and live in a cold climate, this should be a good purchase.

Anchorage Boots
February 23, 2011

These boots are great, like wearing your bedroom slippers on the hiking trail. I'm on my third pair of Keen slipons. They discontinued my favorites but these are really comfy.

Not my favorite
September 30, 2011

I am an avid fan of the Keen brand, however, these shoes are not as comfortable as I would expect them to be and even worse, not as durable. After only having these boots a month they are looking extremely worse for the wear. I do own a construction company and bought these to wear as work boots so they have been put through a lot in the past month. I do feel these are not Keen's most impressive product and naming them Anchorage, which conjures up images of tough Alaskan winters, is misleading.
