The BIDWELL boot is a handsome boot, however, I didn't experience the fit and stability that I have always enjoyed with KEEN. Without inspecting my closet, I estimate I own at least 8 pair of KEEN sandals, shoes and boots. I'm a huge KEEN fan because it is THE ONLY brand of shoes/boots that I wear comfortably without an orthodic insert. That is not the case with the BIDWELL, which I consider more of a 'street shoe' (not designed and built for heavy duty use). This is NOT a criticism -- simply an observation that makes the BIDWELL unsuitable for my use.

And I am still wearing all of them..... But not at once (;-)> The Bidwells look great, fit just like my other keens, and wear better than other shoes I have owned. From my first pair of Keen Newport sandals that I purchased in 8/03 I have loved that stable feel of their shoes. I still wear those sandals about half the year here in Texas, I can't seem to wear them out. The Bidwell's will be my colder weather shoes. I feel I really get my moneys worth with KEENs and they are the best fitting most comfortable shoes I own.
