the best bike sandal
I bought for myself and my husband. He has been so happy that I bought him another pair. These sandals are ideal for summer or late Fall with socks or without socks. The are stiff so that they work well when we click out or click in. Also they are so comfortable that we can wear them when we are not riding but walking.

Skinny shoes!
I received the Keene shoes and soon found the previous reviews to be true; great construction and looks but way to skinny for my average feet. I own 6 pair of Keene's (winter boots, summer hikers, 3 pairs of sandals and a pair of trainers), and these simply do not follow the standard width that I am used to. (I am 6', 200 lbs)

Great sandal for hot days!
My husband and I love our new Keen biking sandals. Wish we had bought them earlier in the summer when it was so hot.

I got these as a gift for my boyfriend, he says they're better for riding than walking,but he's happy with them. Shoes shipped and arrived quickly and shipping was free, unlike shoes at other sites, so cost wound up being better than most.

great footwear for hot weather cycling.
I'm a recreational rider and this Keen sandal is great when the temp climbs. Cleats attach easily to the sole. They definitely run narrow and short. Wide feet may not be compatible, and order one half size larger than normal.

Great!!
I was worried after reading comments about the sandals being narrow. They are narrower than a regular Keen sandal like a normal bike shoe. I ordered my regular size 10 and they are comfortable. I am completely satisfied. I would recommend them to any one that wants a sandal for biking.

Great for wet rides
Have had the shoes for about two months and what's best, is the comfort and quick to dry when riding in wet environments. I ride with XTR SPDs and so far so good. On the hot rides...they ventilate and keep you cool. Looks good on and off the bike and very walkable. For the serious, long distance riders...not ultra stiff so you may want something else. But for those riding 10-15 miles or less at a time, this works really well.

awesome bike sandals....
These are some of the best all around bicycling shoes I have ever used,especially in hot weather.These sandals are some of the best walking SPD shoes I have ever used,and stiff enough to be useful for bike riding.I love 'em so far,especially the fact that they pretty much eliminate the need to carry a pile of fresh socks on a long distance trip,and then their being waterproof.I cannot express better how much I like these.

Great Sandal
I am very happy with these sandals. They are very comfortable for biking and walking. I forget that I am wearing a biking shoe when I hop off. As others note, the fit is a bit slimmer than the regular Keen's, but it's just right for the bike. I got the regular size (Men's 10.5) and they are just right.

Great Summer Sandals
Really like the biking sandals for summer riding. They are easy to put on/take off and keep your feet a little cooler on those long hot rides.

Perfect for summer biking tours
I usually wear an 11 to 12 women's shoe and decided on a men's Keen because I heard they run narrow. I ordered a 10.5 men's which are perfect. I do plan to wear socks with them. I'm waiting until weather warms up here in Philly to wear them and I'm sure they'll be a great addition to my biking gear. Also Altrec is a great company to order from - free shipping is very important to me.

Very fast shipping and sandals look really good!
The shipping was super fast and the pair of sandals look amazing. The only problem is the size, which should be resolved when I exchange them. Make sure you order one size bigger than your actual size.

Good except narrow
These are well made, just like all my other Keen sandals. I usually get Keen Newport leather sandals and these are much narrower than those. I'll have to stretch them to get them to fit the width of my feet. Cleats have to be purchased separately. Much better design than any other SPD compatible sandal I have seen.

Good SPD Bike Sandal
This is a good buy if you are looking for a biking shoe that protects your toes while letting air flow through the sides. I read on the keen site that they run a half size small and found that to be very true. Item is also a bit narrow feeling so be careful if you have a wide foot. You have to purchase clips separately.

Great versatile bike and all-around sandals
These are a great substitute for closed/hot bike shoes, especially here in the hot and humid southeast. They are comfortable to walk around town in, but also snap into cleats well and are good, stable bike shoes. They are definitely much narrower than other Keens, but still fit my very wide feet. I would suggest ordering your usual size or a half size larger.

Love them!
My husband loved them so much, I'm getting them for myself. True to size, he wears a 10 and they fit perfect. He wears them 60 miles a day! Comfortable they work great!

Great Sandals
Great bike shoe. These sandals are incredible. Every morning I wear them to the gym and use them to work out in. I don't notice the cleats at all while walking.

good for light stroll but on the narrow side
I wear a size 15 so just being able to find shoes is rough and I thank keen for this. The sandal is a perfect balance of stiffness and works really well in those situations where you wanna ride somewhere and then spend time walking around. I have 3 complaints, first, the lace clamp on one of the sandals was broken so I have to tie one of the laces. Second, they do really tend to run on the narrow side, I'm a D width and they pinch just a little. Third, they could use a heel adjustment. Overall I'm pleased but, beggars can't be choosers with feet as large as mine.

Graet Purchase
I was happy to finally find my size (14). I have used them on 2 short trips. They are very comfortable in hot weather. I am anxious to use them on RAGBRAI.

Good design, great fit.
Finding road or mtn cycling shoes to fit my size 14 B (narrow) foot is a real challenge. I'm really happy to have found these. I've only used them for spin classes so far, but they feel and fit great and I'm looking forward to using them on the dirt. A big plus is that they are reasonably comfy just walking around, though the sole is stiff, as a cycling sole should be. They look very well constructed and the tag says machine washable. Its all good!
