This means that you enjoy a little more agility with fewer ounces locked in around your ankles. Unless you're opening a coffee shop in Antarctica, it's probably safe to assume that the -25F comfort rated Primaloft insulation is ideal for most winter urban settings, although you may need to find a -40F boot if you're faced with harsh survival situations. Nice warm boot, comfortable fit
These boots are comfy and toasty warm. Typical Keen fit, which may seem a bit large, but I find it varies from shoe to shoe.

Great boot
This boot is fantastic. Can't wait to use it this winter in Chicago. I saw the good reviews on Altrec and bought one, fits great, zipper is easy to access. And the value is fantastic, any comparable North Face would run you atleast a hundred bucks.

Awesome boot. Very Comfortable.
I got a pair of wide feet with high volume arch so I had a tough time finding a pair of comfortable, slip on winter boots. However, that tragedy had gone away since I got this boot. Easy to slip into this boot thanks to the zipper on the instep and warm enough thanks to the primaloft insulation. All Keen tend to run small so order one full size up from what you normally wear.

Great boot

Comfortable, waterproof boot
Most comfortable winter boot out there--great for treks through the slush and snow. Zipper makes for easy on/off. They look good too!

Great Keen boots
Love the boots. Sufficiently waterproof to walk through several inches of slushwater without getting wet feet. Insulation does a good job of keeping toes toasty. Easy on/off with side zip. Size runs typical of Keene shoes. Need to wear boot socks with these.

So far, so good.
Hasn't snowed yet, but the boots look great! They are very warm, and are on and off in a flash. They do run a little big, as warned. Nothing that a thick pair of socks won't cure. And yes, I ordered a slightly smaller pair than I normally would.

Great Boots
These boots are great. Very comfortable and easy to put on, plus they don't feel like they are slipping off when you walk, as many boots do. Altrec's service was excellent. I will definately buy from them again.

nice boots!
I've been wearing these boots non-stop for the past week. Warm and Comfy. It seems like they're built solid enough. Keen's just fit right. This is my 4th pair of Keen's since I was introduced 9 months ago. Newports, Presidios, Targhees and now Dakotas!

These boots are warm and so much more versatile than a big bulky

great for wide feet
i have trouble finding shoes to fit my wide 4e feet , but keens are generous in the width & toe box. these dakota boots are easy on & off , warm , light & look good too ! i'm not so sure how durable the zipper will be but hope it lasts .

Altrec`s filled my order and delivered it very quick
The keen boots are a warm. not that it is that cold here in los angeles. and my order arrived just in time to fight the huge rain storms. the draw strings do nothing. one has already broke. waterproofing is good. traction is great. the boots are clumsley for me as I use them to walk my dog 6 miles a day. I need to be very strong to do this on a regular basis. thank goodness keen has other shoes to help on my weak days.
