very well made shoes with stylish design
July 19, 2011
I have owned a few brands with similar design to the Denver Mid, however I would say the Denver Mid is my most favorite shoes. I have both black and dark brown colors and I wear them on working days as well as weekend. The shoes are very well made, durable, and feel very comfortable. Anyone who seeks style and quality, this is your choice.
Pros: fit to size stylish designKeen Denver Mid top casual
June 26, 2011
If you like Keen shoes, then the Keen Denver Mid top will surprise you. It is an all leather upper with an leather insole and lining. The height of the sole is lower than my other Keens which makes it different. You will get lots of compliments and questions because it is a unique style. It fits true to size and I wear them for casual dress and sometimes at the gym to show off.
Pros: style, quality, fitcomfortable shoe

This is, as like most Keens, a very comfortable shoe mostly due to the wide front of the shoe. The size is a perfact fit and is a good looking shoe. It also has great quality laces. The only negative is that the soles are a bit thin, so I wouldn't recommend this for hiking or all-day walks.
Pros: comfort, fit, looks, lacesA different type of KEEN
April 22, 2011
This is a very different shoe than I am used to from KEEN. It doesn't have the typical wide toe-box (which my daughter's refer to as "mickey-mouse feet") and it doesn't have the usual keen traction on the bottom. The sole is more like shoes I have gotten that are designed for the service industry, which is great since I got these shoes for my new job as a catering porter. The narrower toe box makes these shoes appear to be longer and narrower than other keens of a similar size, but they really aren't. The leather uppers do need to be stretched out, so they won't feel very comfortable the first time you put them on. Make sure you purchase them from someone like altrec.com that has a generous return policy, in case they don't fit well once they've been stretched out. The inner sole didn't seem to offer enough cushion, and I'm actually returning them for a half-size bigger since adding a more substantial insole made them a bit too tight for my feet. I also noticed a few missing stitches between the uppers and the sole that likely would have caused the shoe to wear out sooner than expected. Altrec has been great handling my return and new order though.
Pros: looks very professional, no "mickey mouse foot"good Shoes

I wanted something a little different and these were just perfect. Very comfortable shoes. Even on warm days they are still comfortable. They are very good in the rain. Quality leather, and look durable. Good with any type of pants ( Dress or casual). I deffinately will recommend them.
Keen are the best
March 04, 2011
In my experience, Keen are the only shoes that really made in the shape of a foot. Wider at the ball and toes and narrower at the heal. Most other brands I need to buy wide to accommodate my toes and it's too wide everywhere else. I bought my first pair 5 or 6 years ago and now own 8. The Denver mid is great because I was looking for something I could wear to work but would also provide some ankle protection for riding my motorcycle. The sole does seem a little thin so I doubt I will ever count on them for hiking. This is also the first pair I have that seems to be put together a bit sloppy. The over the toe rubber is not symmetrical so they look a little weird but I'm more concerned with comfort at my age so I'll live with it. They are great looking shoes just not what I've seen from Keen in the past. I hope they don't start cutting corners.
Pros: looks, foot protection, fit, quality of materialsKeen Men's Denver Black

I love Keen. I have 3 pairs of Keen shoes and would get rid of everything I have to fill my closet with Keen shoes. This pair, tho, I was not so excited about. The normal thick sole and uber comfort hitting hard surfaces I get from all my other Keen shoes, was not here on this style. The sole is thin and my feet hurt if I stand on hard surfaces for more than 20 minutes or so. I am an average guy, 5' 7" 180. Walking is comfortable, and I can still wear them all day, but the usual ...AHhhhhhh, comfort from Keen is just not there in this style. They need to beef up the sole so you don't feel like your feet are hitting the sidewalk directly with each step. No cush. that being said, I would still recommend this style. The style of the boot, the softness of the leather as well as the trademark rubber over the toe are all great. I will try wearing thicker socks to soften the thin sole, and hope for the best, as I still like the shoe all in all. you can wear these shoes with jeans or a pair of dress khakis, and they will work with either setting.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, PerformanceMen's Denver Mid Shoe

Nice shoes. Ordered the same size as previously ordered Keens but had to return them for the next half size smaller (10 / 9.5). The high-tops rub on my ankles if the laces are too tight. No big problem though. Good looking shoes, comfortable but cold in Winter when waiting for a train while standing on freezing cement. The price:performance is very good. I recommend these shoes and, because of their very good service, I recommend Altrec. Rudi
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of use, Great valueComfortable for Everyday Work
February 10, 2011
The Denver mid-shoe is quite comfortable for casual wear at work. They did require a bit of breaking in, as the uppers were somewhat stiff. The sole is a bit lighter than I expected, based on my experience with my other Keen's, and it likely will not be durable enough for hiking on rough terrain. It is a good shoe for office use, and quite comfortable.
Pros: Build quality, Great valueJust the perfect shoes

I have to say that Keen shoes are one of the most comfortable shoes, put on and wear...My second pair and plan on buying more or them...
