Keen Men's Humboldt Shoe

Nice comfort shoe
I would buy this shoe for walking, light trail hiking. Is is not really a running or "big hike" shoe. It is super comfortable and looks good. It breathes really well therefore not water resistant. I wanted a pair of shoes for kicking around town and some outdoor activities and these are perfect for that.

Light and breezy, but runs smaller than other Keens
I wear size 9.5 for other Keen shoes and sandals (including the Taos and Newport), but had to get these in a 10: they run a bit small and a bit more narrow than other Keens. If you're between sizes, order up a half size. The shoe itself is very light with good ventilation. With a high heel and low toe, the structure of the shoe rocks you forward more than Keen's other offerings. I like the traditional laces: unlike many Keen models with use a friction tab to cinch the laces, the Humboldt lets me tie them normally...and they stay snug.

This is a great all around trail shoe.

Humbolt's Rock
These shoes rock! I took them on a recent trip to Zion National Park, they were great all purpose shoes- they did Angel's Landing, Subway, and the Narrows. When worn with breatheable socks there wasn't anything they couldn't do, wet or dry. Nice cushion sole, good traction. I wish they made a mid-top version. Great addition to my collection of Keens!

healing sore feet!!
I got these for my boyfriend's sore feet and he loves them - from volleyball to scrambling up the mountain in search of an elusive bird he wears them a over!!

Men's Keen Humboldt
This shoe is comfortable right out of the box. Great toe room and width, and good cushion in the sole and heel. A lightweight, good shoe for walking, trail hiking or running, or all around use (in place of tennies). Looks great with jeans or other casual clothing. I own other Keens -- this shoe is tops in comfort! Truly an "all day shoe." Buy one half size larger for the best fit.

Great shoes
the keen humboldt shoe is very light weight and comfortable while still providing excellent support for off road activities. The partially mesh uppers allows for generous air circulation which is great for those warm weather workouts. I highly recommend these shoes, I like them so much I have two pair.

Great shoes, light, good support and comfortable!
Down here in miami, these shoes do the trick...I hoped they'd be a good option for warm weather kickin about and for those runs on the hard packed miami beach or the trails...the uppers are nice a light and breathable, and the soles give great arch and heel support and I like the narrower toe-bed (compared to my bronx). The fit is true and I have had many compliments on the style...Great Shoes!

i just wore them for 2 weeks in egypt love the fact the sand dont get in the breathable sides and my feet felt great would recomend them over the open sandals for lots of fine sand and materials

Keen Trail Runners ...
Lightweight, breathable and comfortable... whether on the trail or at work. Very roomy in the toes... and as always with Keen, size up one size for a good fit. They felt good right out of the box, no break-in period required.

NICE TRAIL SHOE
I HAVE BEEN RUNNING TRAILS FOR 14 14 YEARS. I HAVE NEVER RAN IN A PAIR OF KEEN TRAIL SHOES. I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE COMFORT,CUSHION, AND FEEL OF THIS SHOE. THEY ARE NOT REAL SUPPORTIVE BUT VERY COMFY ON THE TRAIL. I WOULD DEFINITELY BUY ANOTHER PAIR OF KEEN TRAIL SHOES. ALTEC HAD A SUPER DEAL AND GREAT RESPONSE ON THESE SHOES!

Thank you for your concern.I purchased the shoes for my husband who has a real problem with smelly-sweaty feet.He is on his feet all day at work and his shoes were rotting off his feet.These shoes are great except they were alittle tight, he kept them anyways.He has wide feet, but wore and kept the shoes anyway.He wonders if he can wash them?!

comfortable shoe but defunct sole!!
I've had these shoes about two weeks now and they feel great but just today a large section of the sole came lose and is now flopping making the shoes unwearable. I checked the other foot and it looks like the same part is coming off on the right one. I've been on a trail with these only once - so they are headed back to altrec... i'm not sure if I'll try another Keen shoe yet or not - It could have been a defunct pair, I don't know... I loved the comfort
