Most uncomfortable shoe ever
December 11, 2011
Shoe has the flattest insole I have ever had in a shoe. There is little to no arch support. I have tried everything to get the shoe to feel good when walking, but with no luck. Construction seems cheap as well. I have worn them, so there is no way for me to return them, so I am stuck with a pair of flat footed shoes. The wife was right, I should have stuck with Merrels.
Cons: no arch support, cheap constructionPoor quality sole, otherwise pretty comfortable

I bought these in November of 2010. They lasted 9 months before the sole completely fell apart. Pretty disappointing considering all the other keen shoes i have owned lasted well over a year and a half. The only upside is that they are really comfortable.
Pros: comfortable, Cons: soles do not lastDid you recently buy the Keen Siskiyou Mid WP Hiking Boot? Write a review.
Comfortable boot...
March 07, 2011
Purchased this boot back in the late fall, on sale. Broke it out a few weeks ago and have been wearing it everyday for the past few weeks in mud, water and Mississippi cotton fields. The Siskiyou hiking boot is light and comfortable. My feet have not gotten wet yet. I order Keen footwear a half size up.
Pros: light and comfortableReplaced my other keens I had for 3 years

I like the Keens, these replace the ones I had for about 3 years. Those stayed together very well, just the bottoms got smooth after a while. They are nice and wide and comfortable. Not great for driving if your pedals are close together. I think my older pair had better ventilation. I'll probably get another pair when these wear out.

Great Lightweight Boot
April 12, 2011
Lightweight and very comfortable. True to Keen sizing. No need for a break in period. Color looks just like the photos (Dark Shadow/ Rust). To test the Keen-Dry I stepped into the bathtub and my feet stayed totally dry. Love my Keens..never been disappointed.
Pros: comfortable, durable, no break-in, lightweight, attractive design, broad in the toe, Cons: noneGreat super comfy lightweight boot!

After searching long and hard for the ideal all conditions hiking boot I chose the Keen Siskiyou WP. I live in the pacific northwest where rain is more likely than not so waterproof is pretty necessary and these boots do not disappoint. So far I've only taken them on a couple of day hikes, but have logged at least 20 miles over rocky, muddy, marshy, and downright rugged landscapes. The result: dry, comfy and happy feet. I find that I can hike longer and faster in these boots and love the Keen toe. I'm a notorious shoe toe ruiner, but the high quality rubber on this boot seems indestructible. Very happy with the purchase!
Pros: lightweight, comfy!!!, Cons: kinda make my feet sweatGreat Shoe

I love the arch support that I get from Keen products. So far they've been extremely comfortable, and I'm looking forward to testing them out on the Appalachian Trail a bit later in the year. The only negative I have about the shoe is that the laces tend to slide loose as you attempt to tie them, making it difficult to pull them tight across the top of your foot.
Pros: Build quality, PerformanceKeen Siskiyou Mid WP Hiking Boot

This boot is very comfortbable the thing about Keen shoes for me is the very wide toe area, it makes it different and more comfortable for anyone with a little wider foot or someone whose toes get crunched up.
Good purchase

Siskiyou Mid WP Hiking Boot looks and feel good. This is my first Keen product. Although I haven't had it for too long to render a verdict, so far it has fit well and is flexible and extremly happy with it.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Great valueComfy but not breathable

Like all Keen products that I have tried these are very comfortable. The shoe is shaped box like with good support for a nice, roomy feel with the insole a marvel. I usually take a size 10 and ordered a 10.5 which fit fine. I find Keens to run a little small so you may want to order up a 1/2 size. If you have wide or boxey feet they are superb. They do not come up very high on the ankle so do not give great ankle support but it is good enough for casual hiking without a pack and all around wear. Beware people with bad ankles: this shoe is not for you, it does not provide high enough/ tight enough support. The Targhee might be a better choice. The shoe is waterproof, I walked through the snow and some puddles with no leakage and is supposed to be breathable. Not for me. My feet sweat endlessly to the point that the inside is damp and my socks soggy. Not good, however, I have this problem with most shoes except Gortex GTX so if you do not suffer from "hot feet" it will not be a problem. I keep buying Keens because they are so comfortable and wear well. I can recommend them with the above caveats.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, comfortable, roomy, Cons: not breathableKeen Men's Siskiyou Mid WP Hiking Boot Photo
