MN Winter
December 09, 2011
I have had my Keen Siskiyou's for about a week now. I have worn them everyday except one, which I regretted! These shoes are Great for everything from running errands to walking the dogs on unplowed streets, to walking the trails around town. They are stable, great traction, and waterproof. They keep my feet VERY warm, which I really noticed they day I didnt wear them. With all the slop, snow and water of Minnesota, I wanted a shoe that could handle it ALL and still look good. This shoe fits the bill on all accounts. Get a pair, you wont regret it!
Comfortable out of the box

Like my Keen sandals, I could wear these all day, walking the streets of NYC, the first time I wore them. I have a wide forefoot and high instep and some shoes squeeze, but not these. Puddles are not a problem and they don't slip on wet floors. I've only had them a few weeks, so can't say anything about durability, but my sandals haven take a lot of abuse and look and feel great after a year. The only drawback is they are a little warmer than I would like, but it's hard to get a cool, waterproof shoe.
Pros: comfortable, waterproof, good support, Cons: too warmGreat Shoes

Very comfortable. Great Heal support. I have some foot issues like Plantars and this shoe makes my fit feel great. Good support in the heel. They may run a little big although it's hard to say because I have a narrow foot. I am really happy with this shoe.

I purchased these shoes on the recommendation of friends, I got the waterproof Siskiyou, and it has not disappointed me. I work in a tropical environment and my feet are yet to get wet. They are a bit heavy, but my feet are dry.
Pros: deffinately keep feet dry, Cons: a bit heavyDid you recently buy the Keen Siskiyou WP Shoe? Write a review.
NYC Commute/Hiking in the Tetons
November 16, 2011
These waterproof, lightweight boots are equally at home on a water logged, mucky commute in the city and tramping around the backcountry. My husband needed a shoe for commuting by foot that wasn't too hideous looking and he chooses these over his "serious" hiking boots for day hikes. They are not the most generously-sized shoe lengthwise but he insisted on keeping his 9.5s because he didn't want to wait for a 10.

This is my first pair of Keen shoes....I just returned from a hike in the Chisos Mountains and am extremely satisfied with the Keen shoes. Just as comfortable coming down steep inclines as going up. Highly recommend these shoes.

Keen Sikiyou

Super comfortable lightweight shoe. Extremely waterproof and rugged. Typical large toebox makes for great comfort and maneuverability. Keen is on the mark with another great shoe.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great valueNice shoe...typical Keen quality

I have several pairs of Keen shoes, and the Siskiyou does not disappoint. A nice shoe for both casual use and light hiking. The fit seems a tad smaller than my other Keens (I always size up 1/2 size on all of my Keen shoes). Maybe it's due to the waterproof liner...perhaps it takes up a bit of space in the lining of the shoe. As I've worn the shoe some, it has become more comfortable and a bit more roomy in the toe area. The one thing that I have not been able to ascertain yet is the waterproofness of the shoe....we've had near drought conditions here in Colorado.
Chunky, durable shoes

These shoes are heavy for their size, but like all Keen shoes I have owned, they will last for years. They are probably not the best shoes to wear around town in the summer if you live in a hot climate. Unfortunately Altrec sent me the wrong color (ordered gray/blue, box said gray/blue, but the shoes were brown).
Pros: grippy soles, Cons: heavyWrite a review for the Keen Siskiyou WP Shoe here.
Good solid shoes, but...
May 21, 2011
I was looking for shoes that are comfortable on the trail as well as on the sidewalk. These are moderately comfortable and they seem to be very breathable, but the soles are fairly rigid and heavy. That is not necessarily bad, but it takes a little getting used to. Keen shoes typically have thick, heavy soles. In the three weeks that I have been using them I've noticed some fraying in the stitches on the sides. Nothing has come lose yet, but I'm keeping an eye on it. Other reviewers mentioned these shoes run small. They appear to on me. I normally wear 11.5 and these shoes in 12 fit about right with light socks. I tried thicker Thorlo socks and found the fit too tight. I also have found it slightly difficult to lace these shoes up without feeling too tight or too loose. I mentioned above these are "moderately comfortable". They are comfortable, but it has been a bit challenging getting them to fit just right. After three weeks either I am getting used to them or they are adjusting to my feet. I have been a big fan of Keen shoes and these do not disappoint even though I have some issues with them. I wish they were slightly less heavy and the fraying is concerning me but so far I still recommend them and would order these or similar Keen shoes again in the future.
Pros: waterproof, breathable, solid sole, Cons: slightly heavy, stitching is frayingExactly what I wanted

I was looking for a rugged shoe for trails and sloppy conditions in winter and this shoe fits the bill. While they only arrived today, I have already put them to the test. They appear to be well manufactured, light weight and waterproof. They do not have a soft feel like a running shoe, more like a hard suspension of a German sports car. For me that lessens the possiblity of rolling an ankle. The Siskiyou is my second Keen product and I'm sure there will be more.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Great value, waterproofAlready own the Keen Siskiyou WP Shoe? Tell us your thoughts.

Solid quality and high level of comfort with these walking/mixed terrain shoes. Rugged look that works with shorts for warm days. Soles grip nicely and the laces have the mountain climber look and strength.
