Description

Your feet will beg for more trail time once you give them a taste of the Keen Women’s Alamosa Hiking Shoes. The sturdy, breathable mesh and nubuck leather upper is lined with a moisture wicking textile to keep your feet dry and comfortable as you play hard in the sun. Built with S3 Heel support, these lightweight shoes have a soft, cushy cup of comfort right under the high-impact part of your heel and firm support all around it to stabilize your foot and keep you from twisting an ankle. They include Metatomical Footbed design which provides excellent arch support and cradles the natural contours of your foot, and of course the legendary Keen Toe Protection, that all Keen shoes have, wraps the outsole up and over your toes to insure against stubbing. When you’re looking for something more lightweight and breathable than an all-leather hiking boot, go for the adventure-loving style of the Keen Alamosa Hiking Shoes for women.

Wife Loves Them
December 26, 2011

Bought these for my wife for Christmas, and she raves about the comfort, support and traction. We have a very hilly property, and they made our morning walk so much more pleasurable for her. Would definitely buy again. Followed customer service recommendation and ordered a half-size up; they fit her perfectly.

Sturdy and comfy shoes for hiking. I wear them hiking for eight straight hours and feel great. The only minor complain is that they a little bit wide for my feet.

Number 13 of the KEENs I've bought
November 03, 2011

I started with the Targhee Mid (on to my second pair) , then the voyageur, voyageur mid (going onto second pair), Keen slides, the flip flops, Cheyenne mid boot, 2 pairs of sandals, the blackcomb, and the Shasta low (least favorite). I like the Alamosa because it's lighter than the voyageur but the same comfy shoe I've come to expect from KEEN. My biggest gripe with KEEN is the sizing... I'm never quite sure which size to buy, from all these I've bought, the sizes have ranged from a size 8 to 9.5, small complaint considering they are the one brand of shoe I actually wear out.

Pros: most comfy shoes for my feet
Cons: sizing not consistant

i live in these shoes

They're so perfect for hiking and even running the trails. At first I got the Targhees II but the heel was too big for me and kept slipping off. These are the perfect alternative to them and the fit is great, not to mention comfort.
