These I ordered a 1/2 size up and tried them on with lots of socks (warm ones) and they fit great. great color and style. Super comfortable, can't wait to try them outside in the winter time!

I've not purchased boots in a LONG time, so this was a big purchase. Nowhere is this boot on sale, since it's probably new for the season. But I had tried it on in a store already, and just HAD to have them. These boots are definitely more on the casual side, but with the nice leather, the strap detail and the attractive brown color, it gives off a very "put together" casual feel. I've worn them with leggings/mini skirt/cotton top/vest, with a sweater dress, with slim pants. I have yet to see how they hold up for the entire fall/winter seasons, through different weather. Haven't yet encountered rain, to see if they are really waterproof. As for fit, I normally wear size 8 in shoes, I have narrow feet. These boots fit fine with a pair of knit socks, with a lil room to spare (probably because of my narrow feet). The calf portion, with leggings, has some room. I'm sure I can fit jeans into the boot, but would have a hard time toward the ankle area, where it is more narrow. Overall, I've always liked KEEN shoes for their comfort. Now, I have something a little classier from the same company and am VERY pleased with it. I highly recommend them!

These are great and attractive leather boots and look like they would last a very long time. I loved the buckle details. I loved everything about them except the fit. The right boot had more padding in the instep than the left one and that was something I knew I couldn't grow comfortable with. I tried putting in my own insoles, cutting mine around the boot's high place, but that didn't work. Also for no reason I could tell the left one rubbed a blister on my little toe on the top. I wore two thin pairs of socks around the house and then took one sock off which didn't help that. I'm 5'6" and weigh 190 so had to have something to fit around my calf. They did fit comfortably there. I had a wonderful "live chat" with a representative, I am returning Bern Baby Bern for Silverton and if they look this good and feel good I will be very happy.

I bought the Keen Bern Baby Bern boot in Purplie - yes, that is how it is spelled . . . giving away the playful nature of this boot. I am 5'6", 140 lbs, with average calves, slim ankles and narrow feet. I wear an 8.5 and that is what I ordered. They fit perfectly over a pair of wool socks. When I wear them to work with dresses and tights, I put a pair of socks on too - and stay cozy warm. I can tuck my skinny jeans inside, but make sure to roll up the bottom about 3" first, avoiding any pressure in the ankle area. These boots can dress up or down depending on your mood. And of course, living in the Pacific Northwest, even dressing up is rather casual, so these are the perfect all-around boots!

This boot fits true to size, is waterproof, and comfortable. As an active person, calf sizing in boots is sometimes difficult- however, these worked out really well. I am happy with this purchase! They look great and fit their use well. One thing I would mention is that the ankle is a bit sloppy/baggy. If you are going for a well-refined boot, maybe look around a bit more.

I have to say, I was rather skeptical when I ordered these boots. I had already returned the Keen KJ boots because I wasn't crazy about them when they arrived, but I loved their look online. The Bern Baby Bern Boot wasn't my favorite online, but because of the ratings it received, I decided to give them a shot. And, I'm SOOOOO glad I did! I'm in LOVE. They look great, they fit great, and are very cool. I was worried they would look too casual with a skirt, but they don't! They look great dressed up and dressed down. The BEST most versatile boot ever! I am thrilled with my purchase! I listened to other reviewers and ordered a half size up and I'm glad I did. I usually wear a size 8, but the 8 1/2 fits perfectly. The footbed is so comfortable and the heel is a perfect height and they don't hurt my feet by the end of the day, but still give my height a little boost. I can't say enough - I LOVE these boots!!!

I love the Bern Baby Bern boot for comfort and look! I have an ankle problem and have problems with lots of other shoes but this one does pretty well for me. I have had a problem with it though...don't know if others have had same problem...the zipper broke at the ankle on one boot. Keen took very good care of me and overnighted a new pair to me on vacation...only problem is it has happened again on my 2nd pair...not sure what the problem is.

These are great boots, fit is true to size, look good with jeans, warm, wore them to an out side event when the weather was freezing. and the are comfortable.

Great boot! Very comfortable and looks great! I am a 8 or 8.5 and definitely had to go with an 8.5. They feel good and there is room enough for wool socks.

I bought these for my daughter-in-law and was worried that they might be too little because of the reviews, but the 6 1/2 fit her beautifully and she said they were so comfortable. She loved them and they looked so great on her. The leather looks of very fine quality and I know she will be happy. She is short, 5'2'', but they weren't too tall. Just a tad big in the calf, but she said not too much and very comfortable. It would be great for tucking in jeans. Hope you get some more sizes.

I love these boots! I am normally a 6.5, and I am happy I ordered the 7. I may have even purchased the size 7 if I wanted to wear thicker socks, but I'm pleased with the 6.5. Definitely size up, though! They are a bit tight around the calves, but nothing that is bothersome or uncomfortable. One negative I will say is that the leather is a little too worn in for me...the boots have a note that they are meant to look "distressed," but there is a large scratch down one boot in the front that I don't like. I'm sure leather conditioner will take it out just fine. Very cute in person!

These Baby Bern Keen Boots are by far one of the best footwear items I have ever purchased. The fit is perfect and the look is perfect. These boots look great with jeans tucked in or out! They also look great with a short skirt and tights. I can wear them all day at work, then out for the evening and they still feel like slippers!

I am glad I made this purchase. The boots live up to the claim of being both comfortable and fashionable. The sole/toe is not as chunky as my other keen shoes, in fact, it creates a feminine "slimming" effect on my foot. They are less shiny than they appear in the picture, which I actually liked better. I got a half size up, which fit perfectly, and the leg opening is probably about average--slightly loose on my skinny calves. The only drawback is that the leather seems less "tough" and durable than I would have expected, especially for the price, and is easily marked.

good quality, well designed, a little tight at the ankles but comfortable enough and am sure will loosen up after a couple more walks. I usually order Keens in a 1/2 size bigger but these are true to size.

I have had a tough time finding casual tall boots that fit over my athletic calves. I teach fitness classes and love to run. These are perfect. They fit just right, not too large not too small in the calves and everywhere else. They have made a slight calous on my pinkie toe, but that is the only uncomfortable spot. The first time I wore them was an all day sightseeing trip. They were comfortable from the beginning as all my Keen's are and were great throughout the day. I have recommended these to several people.

I absolutely love these boots. Not only are they super stylish, they are so comfortable. I've been wearing them with dresses and tights and colorful socks that hit right above the top of the boot and have received numerous compliments. But the boots for me were really all about comfort and I can stand for hours and my feet don't hurt. I'm thinking of getting them in a different color because I have such a hard time finding comfortable shoes that I like that don't hurt my feet.

This is my 3-rd pair of Keen boots, so I ordered them in same size as my other pairs. They were to small and I had to reorder them in a 1/2 size larger. They are perfect. I was so excited they still had them in my size that when I got them I wore them the next day. No break in period needed they were perfect...I had noticed when I read some review comments that you should order in a 1/2 size larger but I assumed that since I owned 2- others in my regular size there was no need to make an adjustment. The biggest issue was returning them and paying the freight back...

Just received, so these are first impressions after wearing the boots out once. These are my 4th pair of Keen footwear; I keep coming back because I know Keen fits and are comfortable for my feet. So far this is still the case. As is typical for me and Keens, the boots are slightly on the tight side, snug but still comfortable. They seem to have good cushioning and the quality looks good. My only complaint is the leather finish is duller than in the photo, but I think they'll break in nicely. Otherwise they are just as expected.

Before I even get to the boots, let me just say that Altrec shipping was the FASTEST ever... I ordered these boots on a Wednesday morning, and they were on my front porch on Thursday afternoon! I love the styling and the comfort of these Keen boots. I did order a half size larger, which was perfect. The leather is beautiful and I've already had many compliments. The perfect fall boot!

These run true to "keen" sizing (i.e. 1/2 size bigger than what I normally wear). They were comfy the first time I put them on. Also quite warm. I was looking for a stylish boot that would also prevent me from slipping when wearing it in the snow/slush. These totally fit the bill.

Ordered my usual "Keen" size and they are a perfect fit. Comfortable from the beginning and even fit around my thick calves. I've had lots of compliments on these boots. No one believes they are Keen's without the wide toe bumper.

If you like Keen brand shoes, you will love these boots. They are comfortable, have good support, and are perfect if you have bigger calves. I was having trouble finding a pair of tall boots that didn't give me calf "muffin top," but these babies loosened up just right. They look great with a skirt:)

I bought the Women's Bern Baby Bern Boot in purple, I am so glad I did. it was a great buy! The boot is so comfortable that I can wear it whole day long without any foot pain. I am a kind of scrupulous because I have over 14" big calf and my foot pain often. The calf measurement is 16" for size 9, I ordered 1/2 size up. I would recommend this product to everyone!

I totally love these boots. I sometimes have trouble finding boots that don't hurt my feet. These felt wonderful as soon as I put them on! Soft leather, wonderful workmanship. Very cushy comfortable. These boots fit like a glove, close to my foot. They are close to the instep so that they don't flop when I walk. They look very good on and the oak is a nice medium brown that will go with many different clothes!

I received these boots a few days ago and have worn them with jeans as well as with a skirt. I love them, love the quality, love the fit and the feel, love how they look. They feel solid enough to walk in the snow we still have everywhere here in the Berkshires. They fit my feet perfectly, size 6, they come up to the right place on my leg (I am 5'2") and fit my calf perfectly. I have small calves but do not feel the boot is too big, it is just right. I own almost only Keen footwear now since Keen's style (funky, outdoorsy, adventuresome), fit (comfy all day!) and materials (all leather, or suede and leather lined, as well as the great sandals that go anywhere, hiking, river-walking, to a concert, whatever!!!) are exactly to my liking. My only question is, since such attention is paid to quality and detail, why, along the zipper, the piece of material added to protect it from the leg, is made of vinyl, or some synthetic material. Otherwise, as usual, Keen shoes of any nature are just wonderful!! Thank you!

I have only had this Keen product for a short time, but I am already impressed with its' performance. I carefully examined the materials and workmanship and I expect this boot to serve me well for many years. I placed comfort, quality and durability highest in my shopping criteria. I wanted a boot to wear with skirts, keep me comfortable in winter conditions going from vehicle to building, comfortable when standing/walking and I feel the Keen Bern Baby Bern has surpassed my expectations in a winter/dressy-ish boot. I work in a library setting and wanted comfort and style. This boot allows me to comfortably traverse the building assisting patrons and shelving books; standing on tippy-toe for the highest and knelt/crouched down to the lowest shelves with ease. I feel the boot fits perfectly, though I do notice a difference between stocking/tights fit (loose) and fit when wearing socks (perfect). I believe I will purchase another pair in the same size and use either sole inserts or wear additional bootie-socks when wearing tights.

I have been waiting to find these boots on sale for a while, and was so happy Altrec had the best price, as the customer service is reliable and shipping is quick. The boots are what I hoped for-comfortable and immediately flexible. They did not require any breaking-in. I have short legs and although I am small, I have relatively muscular calves and the boots wrap comfortably over skinny jeans. I love the purple color-almost a neutral but just a little different (and will be great when football season starts-my team wears purple). Very pleased that the Keen toe is not included with these. Have only had them a few days so I can't speak to how they'll last.

These boots are a great buy - they were instantly comfortable - no break in required. They look great with knee or above the knee skirts and knee high socks or tights. Very please with this purchase. Run true to size and accommodate a wider foot.

It has been a long time since I have found a great pair of boots that go around my calf without hurting. These are the best and they look great too. I ordered a 1/2 size up but may try for my regular size. I also might purchase a 2nd pair in another color. All in all, great boots!

Wearing these boots right now as I write this review from the airport. These boots deliver what you'd expect from Keen; great comfort! On top of that they look like a stylish riding boot. I love the look of the buckles. The calf on these is generous but not sloppy and leather is a nice semi-distressed look. I normally wear an 8 1/2 but ordered the 9 to allow room for socks - perfect fit so I'd definitely recommend the half size bigger.

I absolutely love these boots. Every time I wear them I receive compliments and they are the most comfortable boot I've ever owned. I dress them up for church and also wear them casually to the park to play with the kiddos. I feel they are true to size with plenty of room to tuck in skinny jeans. Can't say enough great things about them.
