One of my many keen favorites!!
I love the Briggs II...I have the size 9, and I did not look at the shoe, before I ordered another pair....I ordered a 9 1/2, and it has proved to look quite overpowering!! I love the shoe, so I guess, that this is all my fault for not being a more careful shopper!!

Love keens but these are not for me
I love keen targhee shoes, but thought I would try this style as I was looking for a solid black pair of athletic shoes. While I loved the overall look and they feel comfortable while standing still, the toe area feels stiff when you move in them. I think that the toes would show a crease across the front toe area pretty soon. I've returned these shoes and am on the lookout for a different style.

Comfortable and Durable
These shoes are incredibly comfortable with wonderful arch support and cushion on the sole so you can walk all day with ease. I wear these to work, where I am on my feet all day, to hiking the trails at night. The toe bed is nice and wide which gives great comfort but make the shoes appear a little bulky. They do have fantastic traction so if you live in snowy climates you can safely go from your vehicle to building without any risk of slipping. They run about 1/2 size large so you may want to size accordingly.

Keen Briggs II
Keen by far makes the cutest shoes in the known universe. I have at least a half-dozen pairs, and I think the Briggs II are the cutest of the cute. Keen's only problem is some of their models don't have the greatest arch support; however, Briggs II's is pretty decent. Others have said Keens run small, but I've always ordered my regular size 9 and they've been fine. I've had a bit of trouble with Keens squeaking (especially if I add my own podiatrist-provided, plastic orthotics), but that's so minor. Haven't had any quality issues with any of them.

Disappointing drop from the origional
I loved my Keen Briggs! I wore through the soles of 2 pair through constant wear and city walking. When I went to replace my current pair, I discovered that the originals could no longer be found, unless you wear a size 5. I ordered a pair of Briggs II based on the good reviews and was disappointed at the lack of style, the drastic change in cut, and the over-all discomfort. They look too close to uniform shoes and the high sides made me feel like I was walking in a box. I'm disappointed to have to find a new style of shoes and am definitely returning these.

These shoes still hurt my feet.
Though these shoes are very attractive, they are uncomfortable. I keep trying to break them in and it's not working. After five long days of wearing these shoes I fear they will always hurt my feet. The problem is not the sole and insole, which provide very comfortable support. It is the leather upper which bends in the wrong place and digs into the top of one of my feet above the big toe. Unfortunately, I feel it was money ill-spent.

great comfort and support
This is my first pair of Keen's - my mom, my sister and my husband all have pairs and they love them. I work in a Restaurant and put on many miles in a day. These shoes are great and my feet do not throb at the end of the day. The only negative is that they are not very slip resistant.

Cute, Casula, and Comfortable!
This is my first experience with Keen shoes and I must say that I'm already hooked. The Briggs II are so cute, and although I just got them, they are so far very comfortable. They're definitely on the casual side (I was thinking that I could wear them to my work, but I think they're too casual looking for that), but I love the styling. And as a bonus, they make my feet look smaller. Altrec was great with my order. They were helpful on the phone, and then shipped my shoes very quickly.

Fit is not what I expected
I have purchased other Keen shoes in the past. All comfortable to wear everyday. Women's Briggs II feel like wearing bricks. Not sure why so different. Thought they would break in but not yet. Look great feel stiff.

Keens are fab
This pair of Briggs II is the latest in my Keens collection. They're just so sassy and comfortable! Keens are one of the few shoes not requiring a break-in period. I can wear them all day, walk for miles all over the city, and not have feet en fuego at the end of the day. It's tough to find them on sale, so this pair was a total score.

This is my fourth pair of Keen Briggs and my first pair of Briggs II. I love them. Even more comfortable and better looking.

Very comfortable shoes
These shoes arrived quickly from Altrec and they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever had. They are my first pair of Keen shoes but they won't be my last!

Great shoes, Great service
These shoes are wonderful. I had a pair of the original Briggs. These shoes have actually cured my foot and heel pain. Highly recommend them. Also Altrec customer service is awesome. Got the shoes right away. Have ordered other shoes from them for my husband. Same results, great service

Very comfortable & rugged shoe
I am enjoying my Briggs II. They are very comfortable while being rugged. They are a little heavier than my Charleston Shoe-laced pair.

Like the old ones
I have a pair from 2 1/2 years ago and these are perfect. They're even better looking (make my feet look smaller). I love the fact that they're waterproof

I really like them
They look very sharp and are comfortable but rugged. They will last longer. The only thing is that they are a heavier/bulkier than my Keen Charleston shoe-laced pair (lighter shoes are easier for me to walk) Still, I need reinforced toes; therefore, I love Keens

Madder brown shoes are more brown than red. It works - nice color. Perfect fit - same size as my other Keens. Love them!

Keens are great!
Just received black Briggs and they fit like a charm. I've had many pairs of Keen's women's shoes and have been very happy with them.

LOVE THEM!
I've been searching for months for a full shoe to wear to work. The floors in the vet hospital are tile on cement, and I really need the correct support and lots of comfort on my feet all day. Of all the shoes I own, my Keen sandals were the only comfort I had, so I purchased a pair of Briggs II. They're fabulous. I'll definitely be buying another pair of Keen shoes.
