Wonderful Winter Shoe!

This shoe has so much to offer. The fur lining offers comfort and the right amount of warmth. I like how light weight it feels on, as far as looks it's one of the better looking shoes they make. I always wear a 8.5 in this brand but I decided to order the 9 because of the fur lining (I though it would take up some room in the shoe but it did not). I am so impressed I probably will order the brighton mid boot also.

These shoes are great. I wear between an 8 and 8.5, ordered an 8.5 and they fit great with heavy socks. Very warm and comfortable. Altrec has great customer service also!

I loved the look of this shoe and they were quite comfortable until I walked around the house for less than 30 minutes. This minor amount of walking resulted in blisters on both heels. I'm not sure if it was the high back of the shoe or the inside seam up the back of the shoe that created the problem, but it was clear I would not be able to walk very long in them without discomfort. Too bad, because I really liked the look.

I purchased these shoes for walking my dog. I wanted to be able to slip into my "boots" as easily as my Keen sandals ,which I'd wear year round if it wasn't so chilly". The shoes are as described ,easy to slip on and very cosy. Traction on the first snow covered sidewalk was great and I am cautious about falling so this is good I haven't used my socks yet which is a plus. As well as being functional in the wet weather the shoes are fashionable and look great with pants or skirts with tights. They are lightweight and I purchased the same size as my sandals so it was easy to get the right size. I haven't found a shoe that has fit it's description so well for a long time.

I have purchased and worn through three pairs of Keen shoes in the women's Targee model. I find that Brighton's have a similar footbed, with a comfortable arch support, not invasive to my low lying arch. The toe box also contains the same roomy features and the size is comparable. The slip-ons are stiffer than the lace-up version, though I ventured out on a five mile walk with a handful of bandages after pulling them out of the shipping box. Tender spots were detected on my feet about halfway though the walk and I reinforced the skin to continue on. No problems the next day or since the first day. I have yet to test the warmth in temps below 70 degrees or water resistance. Great shoe so far!

These shoes are awesome! Not only are they waterproof, great in the snow & ice and keep your feet super warm, but really cute too! They are not clunky like some winter shoes - they look great with leggings or jeans. They run about a half size small so go up. I love them!

I always wear a size 9 even in Keen shoes, but these were so tight I could only put them on (with difficulty) without socks. The fur trim seems rather cheaply made. Otherwise, they seemed nice. I'm not sure I would've kept them if they had fit, though. They just seemed, well, not as nice as I think they should've been for the name and the price.

Great Shoes

These shoes are great. I usually wear a size 7 in Keen but these feel a little tight with thicker socks. I like that they are lined with a nice, soft wool to keep your feet warm on cold days. I would recommended these shoes!
