Keen dressed up the look along the lined leather upper with contrast stitching and henna-inspired embossed detailing. I took these sandals out of the box and wore them for about 10 hours straight. They fit perfectly and are so comfortable. There's a back strap for extra support from slipping out of the sandal. I love Keen sandals and these are among the best!

I have this shoe in two other colors and like them so much I went for a third. Unfortunately I had to return them because they were defective - some of the decorative top stitches were broken. This is not the first time I've had to return Keen shoes because of a defect, but with Altrec I've never had a problem.

I bought these shoes for my wife because she saw them at REI and loved them. I told her she should wait so we could buy them from Altrec. She reluctantly agreed. The shoes are great. They look great on her and she received many compliments the first few times she has worn them. She says they are as comfortable as her other Keens and "quite a bit cuter." Unlike her other Keens, which she had to size up a half size, these shoes fit true to size (8). Keen Carmel, another great shoe from a great shoe company.

These are my first pair of Keens and I love them. The padded sole makes for comfortable, easy walking. I generally wear a 9.5 but based on other reviews opted for a 10 and they're great. I'm excited they're on sale so I can get another pair. Buy these sandals, you will love them too!

I bought these to be dress shoes when I have to be on my feet. They have the thick keen padded soles so are great to be standing on. Sizing was a little tricky, I thought one of the tips was to buy a size larger, but the larger size was huge. I exchanged them for my regular size - they are still a little big, but if my feet swell, I will need the extra room. They look great.

I really love these Keen's. Not only do they look good, but the fit is great. Did not have to go a size larger or wider. They are a soft leather and seem to conform to your foot. This is my 3rd pair of Keen's.

I own 4 pairs of the Keen Carmel sandals. This shoe is perfect for traveling when you need something that provides support and comfort for walking--yet doesn't weigh a lot and still looks cute. They work equally well with shorts, capris, jeans, and skirts. I wear them all summer, rain or shine.

These shoes are incredibly comfortable from the first wearing. They did not run small--I took my normal size. The fit tip will confuse a lot of people. I had tried them on in a store so knew the right size. I use them to walk (in the city) every day and have realized how poorly my other shoes actually fit.

Love, love, love these shoes! As soon as they arrived, I slipped them on and I was off. These shoes are a little more dressy than other Keen shoes, so I can wear them with more outfits. Get a pair for yourself today!

I am an elementary school teacher. I am on my feet all day long. I wanted something that I could wear to work or to stroll around in when I'm out and about. I saw someone wearing these at my school. She has MS. She said it was really hard to find comfortable shoes to wear especially with buckles. I thought they looked really cute on her feet. She said she loved them so I decided to buy a pair. Altrec definitely has a better deal than other stores. The sandals are true to size. I don't think they need to be purchased a half size larger. Thanks to everyone else for writing the reviews and helping me to make my decision. I purchased the brown pair and now I am considering ordering the black.

I loved this shoe because it feels like an athletic sandal, but can be worn in more dressy situations, such as work, etc. They are comfortable and stylish at the same time. I found the size 10 to conform nicely with my other size 10 shoes.

Surprisingly, I had to order a half-size smaller than normal, but they fit perfectly. The leather is very soft -- no chafing, no blistering -- and the sole is great. I've also received a number of compliments on the design, which confirm that these look good even on large-ish feet.

After reading the reviews, I thought I would size up half a size...didn't work for my feet. Lucky for me, they received a pair in my true size. Fits great, except the toe area is a tad wide(most keens are for me). I just purchase a pair of inserts for the foot bed, and they fit perfectly! The other reviews are right on when they say no break in time needed. These with stood hours on my feet right out of the box, true comfort!

This is an awesome shoe, very cute, very comfortable. True to size, maybe even a teeny big big, but I am happy in my regular size 9.5. Looks good with skirts and pants, the rich tea color is beautiful. Great for walking, no break-in needed. I want the black too!

Very easy on the feet especially when you have a lot of walking to do. They look great too. I ordered a bigger size because I thought Keen shoes run smaller but unlike most Keen's, these sandals run true to size.

I purchased these shoes after searching for what I believed would be a comfortable shoe for walking, and one that would go with skirts or pants. The moment I tried them on I knew they were comfortable but the real test was a full day of serious walking on a trip to New York City, where I was literally on my feet all day. I hadn't had them long enough to break them in but that wasn't even necessary. I liked them so much that I bought a pair in another color and since I was traveling with 3 of my sisters and we all wear the same size, we were all fighting over who could wear these shoes for our very active days. So we shared and someone always had a pair of these Keen Carmel on. Nobody wanted to take a chance on tired feet or blisters. I'm happy to say that the shoes were great for all of us. I had brought along a few other pairs of shoes but the others got very little wear after we tried these out.

I wear a 10M and that's what I ordered; they fit just right. I have problem feet (bunions & high arches) and these shoes were out-of-the-box comfortable. I only wish that the straps were velcro instead of buckle. I'll be buying more styles of this brand.

A very comfortable shoe--even took a 20 minute little hike in them. I ordered up 1/2 size as suggested, but seems to be too long--will try my normal size. (The same for my mom who tried them on and wears the same size as I do.) I look forward to trying a better size and to trying out other Keens--this is my 1st pair. I love all of the things I have read/heard a/b them. I have 3 small children & a creek by the house. I love that I'll be able to step into the creek at a moment's notice to "rescue" one of them! They do make my feet sweat though. Altrec was great with the shipping--I got them right away!

This is a comfortable shoe, almost like a sandal. Being a Midwesterner I have to put this pair away until next spring as I don't like the way it looks with socks. I look forward to wearing them when the weather warms up because they are more substantial than sandals or flip flops.

I really like these shoes. I can wear them to work and feel comfortable but look professional. They do make my feet sweat but luckily they're Keens< yeah! Thankfully I went to a local store and tried them on in a color I didn't want to find out they run a size too big.
