bought for my daughter who is in NY and she loves the boots...the stlye, and insulation for NY winter season. The fitting is good considering her calf is wider...toe area is roomy she can wear thick socks.

I love this boots. Mine is black one and really light and warm. But the size run little small. I usually wear 8 but this one I have to take 9. It is really comfortable and I just love it. Highly recommend this boots

After doing exhaustive research, looking for a boot that was durable, comfortable, and good looking, I purchased the crested butte by Keen. I ordered the Black Olive color which is absolutely beautiful. I would describe it as a warm deep gray. The leather is soft and thick and the interior is extremely warm. I will definitely need only light socks for our southern winters. It was recommended on other sites to purchase a half size up which i did. I normally wear a 7 and the 7 1/2s seem to fit great. I may have had room actually for a 7, but these are very comfy. The zipper is fabulous for quick on and off and the laces give this boot a very unique look as well as making the size of the shaft customizable. It is a bit more "puffy" than I was expecting. But this is to be expected with the thick leather and lining. So far they have been comfortable. They have a firm footbed similar to the Keen sandals which I don't LOVE. I am super hard on my feet and prefer squishy soles like Privo or Asic Gel....but a girl can suffer a tad for an awesome looking boot. The soles do seem to have good support and be nice and thick. I think a nice gel insole will send these over the top and make them absolutely perfect. They look great with jeans rolled up capri style to show them off....I think they're a bit too narrow for tucking jeans in, but you can see that from the video. I'm thrilled with them, and I'm quite a picky shopper!
