Not quite built for winter
February 07, 2012
I am in Laramie, WY. This is important to weighting the applicableness of my review to your needs. It is cold here. And icy an snowy. It's also such a small town that I walk most places. I was looking for a slightly less formidable boot than my Sorel snow boots for getting me from downtown to the college. These Keens were cute, pull-on, and a great price--I couldn't pass them up! BUT, they have a sole that slides treacherously on even the roughest ice. TREAD CAREFULLY! Saddest panda. I can't wear them unless most of the snow is gone and the threat of more has passed. It's back to the clunky snow boots and my Columbia hiking boots til spring. In a more agreeable environ, I bet they'd be peaches and cream. The fit was to size and the sole is flexible but supportive.
Pros: cute, waterproof, good length for tucking pants, Cons: slippery soles, not very warmWrite a review for the Keen Golden Boots here.

I live in Massachusetts, and they are just enough for the weather. I like the sweater on the top.

Comfortable Boot
November 21, 2012
I purchased this boot for eveyday wear. Like many flat boots, it didn't have a great deal of support, but did have plenty of room for me to add my own foot pads. The leather is nice and soft. I'm not crazy about the sweater top part though.
Pros: comfortable, soft, Cons: not highly paddedKeen Women's Golden Boots Photo
