Women's Newport H2 Sandal - Rock!
These are my second pair of Keen H2 sandals - I love them! I've gone from hiking and swimming to walks along the beach. These shoes are great if you want to stay cool in the summer sun going here and there but you can run along the beach and not worry about your shoes getting wet - they protect your feet/toes - or you can go boating, tubing, etc... and walk out dry in a short period of time. If they get dirty, just toss them in the washer and put in the sun to dry - they look like new, just out of the box! They are comfortable and true to size. I wouldn't trade these hard working, casual sandals for any other!

Very comfortable and durable
I would definitely recommend these. I wore them all summer for casual, hiking (not too rocky areas) and just around town with friends. They have been through a lot of abuse and still look great, still comfortable and I believe they will last me years. I am normally an 8.5 and they fit perfectly. Found them to be very true to size.

Great sandals to live in during the summer
These are great sandals and I have 5 pairs in practically every color. They are easier to wear throughout the day and are so cute I get away wearing them to work too. I get so many compliments and Keen has really come out with some cool colors in the past 2 years.
I love the wide foot bed especially when it gets real hot and your feet swell. They are also waterproof and wash up quite nicely in the washing machine. Don't hesitate in purchasing Keens, they are well made and worth the $$$.

Oldest dearest sandal friend
Years ago, I saw and tried on a pair of bright red Keens which I then bought on the spot even in that loud color--because it was the last pair in the store--it was the Newport sandal model. Thus began my love affair with Keen shoes. I own lots of different Keens now and I still like this Newport model best of all. I wear Keen's dressier shoes to work, but this model has the most comfortable arch support and strapping design for me. I can wear a size 7.5 in some shoes but I take an 8 in most Keens.

Love these sandals
I purchased these sandals primarily for kayaking/canoeing. They are very comfortable. They protect my feet from the unknown river bottoms! The absolute best thing is the superb grip when stepping out of the water on wet slippery rocks. They increased my level of confidence while on the river!

GREAT SHOE!!!
I love this shoe, it rubs a little on my pinky toes but the bit it great and they are very comfortable shoes! i wear a size 8.5 and they fit perfectly, didn't have to worry about them running too big/small. I would totally recommend them to anyone, i actually bought my sister-in-law a pair too and she has a lot of trouble with her ankles.

Love love these sandals
I now own 2 pairs in two differen color (red and blue). They are really great sandals. I were it everywhere, even for hiking and swimming in the lake. They are durable and comfortable. Do need to buy a 1/2 size bigger to fit.

Best sandal ever
i love these sandals! Color is perfect, fit is superb! I have a
lot of trouble with my feet and my Keens keep me from pronating and from having pain due to my plantar fascitis. I can put these on and go all day in comfort, which is of the ultimate importance when one has two little boys to keep up with!
I also bought the Keen Venice h2 and find the Newport to have better arch support and cushioning in the footbed. I'm keeping both pairs becausei wanted a blue pair of sandals and the Venice Raya Blue is striking. I will also add that my mother owns both sandals and actually thinks the Venice is superior in arch support and comfort. Try them both on!

I want to be buried in these shoes
Love these shoes, they are the best ... I want them in every color. They are comfortable with or without socks, hiking in hot or rainy weather. good for walking in water and they dry out so quickly. Also, had good experience purchasing from Altrc - very good delivery time.

Rugged Sandals
Having owned several Keens, I opted for the Keen Newport H2 for our two-week road trip to Yellowstone. These sandals saw all sorts of conditions and kept my feet comfortable. Imagine hiking three miles in rafting sandals with no discomfort! I love these Keens. Other than rocks getting in, (they are sandals after all), I couldn't hope for better. My husband just bought a pair of Newport H2's and won't take them off! One thing- even with the anti-microbial footbed, these sandals get funky with heavy outdoor use. Just throw them in the washing machine on delicate cycle!

terrific hiking sandal
I saw this sandal worn by our hiking guide in New Zealand. We wore hiking boots and she wore this Keen sandal. I decided that as soon as summer came I would order a pair for walking and hiking the neighborhood and trails. My Newport H2 sandals arrived yesterday.
They fit perfectly and I wore them right out of the box the first day. I have a wider foot and read that the Newport has a wider toe box. I also ordered a half size larger than I normally wear. Great fit! Great sandal!

Keen's are the BEST
These are absolutely the most comfortable shoe ever put on my feet. I give them a "10". I now have 3 pair of Keens & each pair is great. I've gotten many compliments on my Keens & I would recommend this footwear for looks as well as comfort.

Great Shoe
This shoe is very comfortable. As far as durability goes, it is showing some good wear after using them exclusively for a weekend of camping and kayaking. They seem to protect pretty well, except for the little specs of this and that that tend to sneak in. Overall it is an excellent shoe.

Really great shoes! Opened the box and had them on for hours! I am always outside and in the water and these are perfect! I don't know that they run a whole size small, but definately a half, so keep that in mind. Honestly though, if everyone had these shoes the world would be a better place! Love them!

Most comfortable shoes!
These are the most comfortable sandals I have ever worn. I usually have trouble finding shoes since I have wide , problem feet from standing on them all day long. As soon as I put these sandals on, I felt like I was walking on a cushion and I haven't taken them off since. My husband owns a pair so I decided to try them myself. I love them so much I am definitely going to have to buy another pair. I like that I will be able to get them wet too! I ordered them in the shoe size I always wear, a size 7 and they were a perfect fit. I would definitely reccommend them and was happy to find them at Altrec.

A Great Summer Good for everything sandal!
I just purchased my Keen's in preparation for a long term trip overseas. After wearing them for a few days I couldn't be happier. They are very comfortable, easy to get on/off, quick to dry and perfect for hiking, boating, and everyday use. The sizes do run a little small though, so I would recommend buying a half size up. Otherwise, I'm extremely happy with my purchase and would recommend this to anyone needing a good all purpose, sturdy and high quality sandal.

Awesome River Shoe
I recently went on a river trip and I took my sandals with me. They were great for getting splashed by rapids and while getting in and out of boats. I even wore them on a hike or two and the toe cap definitely protected my toes from rocks and plants. Even while wet they still didn't rub blisters on my feet. They are even great shoes to walk around in all day.

Great Summer Shoe
I purchased a pair of H2 Newport sandals for myself and both of my children for our summer adventures. I am a school teacher so I wanted something that could stand up to all of the fun I'm going to squeeze into the next 3 months. I haven't taken these things off since they arrived. I had been having terrible pain in my left foot for nearly a month due to "work shoes" and the Keen sandal is like a gentle hug for my foot all day long. I can wear it to work (for my last week) and go straight to the park all afternoon without having to change a thing!

Great Water Shoes
My wife loves these shoes. She likes to use them at the lake, beach, and the hot springs in CO. She can walk for long periods of time and her feet don't hurt. She also likes them for hiking. They are really good for hiking because of the toe cap and they are very durable. I would highly recommend them to anyone that is looking for a good water shoe.

Great shoe

Keep making this product!
I am now on my 2nd pair of Newport H2 sandals as a backup for the 1st pair which has lasted through 2 seasons of working outdoors @ a nursery and many kayak trips...
The construction is perfect for durability - toes protected by a cap, which has saved be from rocky launch sites, and the shoe is amazingly comfortable - wide toe box and yet snug fit with heel strap - a design perfect for my foot that is wider in the front than the heel. The neoprene dries quickly and the padding makes it one of the most comfortable shoes ever on my feet!

Wide Comfy sandals
These sandals are great and fit true to size for Keens. That means that they are extra wide compared to normal width shoes/sandals. Only issue with the shoes if your using them for hiking is that rocks and pebbles do get stuck under your feet sometimes and you have to take the sandal off to get them out. They conform nicely to wide feet and are get for taking into the water also. For those that are looking, these shoes also work great if you need to wear orthotics for arch support because they keep the orthotics in place. There a bit pricey, but on sale there a great value.

Best outdoor sandal.
I am a rural South Dakota walker and hiker. I read the reviews before my purchase. The shoe is true to size for me. I avoid shoes that are made narrow. Once the laces are cinched to the tension I like, they don't come undone. I live in rural South Dakota. I go from home, to shopping, boating, camping, and long outdoor walks/ hikes in these shoes. But I opt for my trail running shoes when I run on the gravel road. When I run on the gravel road bits of gravel get kicked up into my H2 sandal. I would have to stop and pull it off to get the gravel out. These shoes are absolutely waterproof and dry out nicely. These are super comfy. Great outdoor shoe for spring, summer and autumn. I wear size 9 and I purchased size 9. I would recommend these for my friends. There is a color for everybody. I picked striking purple and grey.

Great all-around adventure shoe
Have been a big fan of Keen sandals for many years and these are an outstanding all-around adventure shoe. Great when you need to pack light because you can use them for hiking, biking, kayaking and more.
The slate black/canyon (brown) color looked better than expected, but I should have ordered a half size larger.
They seem to run a bit smaller than my old Keens.

Great arch, comfort!
This is the shoe I've been looking for. Great styling and a comfortable arch. So many sandals have no support in them. This one delivers! I don't know how any walks around in flip-flops all day with out knee or back pain. These support both very well. It's 18 degrees around here and I'm walking around the house like it's 80 outside! I'm about to order another pair for my husband.

I'm sorry I didn't buy these a long time ago
Being plagued with foot problems due to fallen arches, and having wide feet to begin with, I've been a Keen fan for years. After my previous pair of (non-Keen) water shoes bit the dust over the summer, I needed something for my upcoming trip to New Zealand. It was really a pleasant surprise to see that Keen even offered them. I just received them and I'm thrilled. They fit great and feel like a dream. I can't wait to try them out in the water! Under ideal circumstances, I wear an 8 1/2, but with my wider feet, I usually wind up in a 9. I ordered these in 9 and they fit perfectly. The construction is far superior to my other water shoes, and they will protect my feet so much better too. Beach and kayaking, here I come! Being washable is a huge benefit, since I expect that they will be getting muddy at some point.
I also want to mention that I did contact customer service with some questions, and they were great. I will definitely order from Altrec again.

Keen Comfort
This is a great sandal that is sturdy and still keeps your feet cool in hot weather. They are perfect for walking, light hiking, bicycling and just about anything that has me on my feet for long periods. I bought a size 6 Keen Newport H2 in Black. My usual shoe size is a 5 1/2, so I opted to go a half size larger as has been suggested. The fit is great, avoids the toe-squeezing syndrome that I have suffered in the past with some sneakers and other closed toe shoes. I was looking for something with good toe room and these Keens do the trick.
This is my second pair of Keen Newports, so I guess I'm on a roll. The two pairs of Keen sandals will be my primary footwear for an upcoming trip to Europe. I will be doing a lot of sightseeing and want something comfortable for long days on my feet in museums and in towns - and for impromptur hikes in the coutryside. I can wear these Keen Newport sandals with socks or barefeet, which provides flexibility for changing weather conditions and a variety of different activities during the day.

I am on my feet all day standing on concrete and these sandles are the only thing I have found that do not make my feet ache at the end of the day. I have tried every type of athletic shoe you can imagine and never found one that made my feet fell like these keen sandles do. I have heel problems and in these sandles my feet are happy at the end of the day. I even wear a boot to work and then change into these sandles even in the winter months. I will never be without these sandles all year long. On my second pair I did order a half size bigger and they do fit a lot better. I think these run a half size small.

Good adventure travel shoe
Used these on a recent trip to the Galapagos. They were perfect for wet landings and had good support for trail walking and light hiking. I usually need arch support, but the built-in arches in these shoes worked fine for the activity level. THe only drawback is that because they are more "closed" than other shoes, they take longer to dry--especially in damp sea air.

Great all around sandal.
I own about 5 pairs of Keens, including 2 pairs of Newport sandals. I don't find that they run 1/2 size small. My last pair is 1/2 size smaller than I usually wear...so I am not sure about that claim. All my other Keens are true to size and a nice medium width. I can wear heavy socks with them and go hiking. They are a wonderful shoe for hiking over sharp rocks or lava in hot tropical climates and the perfect kayaking shoe although they do trap rocks underfoot a bit. It is fairly easy to loosen and wash out any debris and to be fair I haven't found a water sandal with an open design that doesn't let in rocks but it is a minor irritation.
One extra plus is they are great for bike riding. I ride to work and they fit under my half toe clips and really grip the pedals...I know Keen makes biking specific shoes but Newports are great too.
I have always been impressed with Keen quality and none of mine have broken or even shown much wear despite multiple soakings in salt water and exposure to sand, dirt and lava walking. I highly recommend Keen Newport H2's

Best Purchase I've Made Lately!!!
These are the most comfortable shoes I've worn in a long time! I have issues with my feet feeling suffocated when I wear tennis shoes with socks in the warm weather....that being said, I still needed something to wear while walking my large dog on a daily basis. While my feet may still sweat in these shoes, it's not like wearing tennis shoes with no socks. I ended up wearing these almost daily until the weather turned too cold...I'm sure I'll purchase a second pair by next spring to put some variety in my daily wardrobe while doing daycare. I had a whole bottle of bubbles spilled on my foot while wearing these - not to worry, rinsed them under the tap and they dried in a couple of hours looking not worse for the wear! Great Shoe!

Excellent sandals for all-around use
Bought these sandals to wear in Italy for a 3 week vacation this past summer. I wanted something cool and comfortable, yet protective. We walked a LOT, and oftentimes over rough, rocky surfaces. The way these sandals are designed, they were much more stable for rough terrain than my beat up but much beloved Teva Pretty Rugged's (my feet slide around a bit in my Tevas when I'm on extremely uneven terrain).
I'm not really a sandal-wearer, but I liked them so much and found them so comfortable that I wore them every day after our vacation until it became too cold to wear sandals (we live in Michigan)!
I will definitely be getting more of these in the future. My one complaint is that I noticed some wear on the strapping near the inside of the ankles that seems a bit premature. Other than that, EXCELLENT CHOICE OF FOOTWEAR for all-around use.

Solid comfortable sandal
I found that i needed to order half size larger than i usually wear. I wore the sandals daily on a recent trip to Mexico, and never had a problem with sore aching feet. When i first got the sandals i noticed the inside of the sandal to have a oil like film inside the shoe. I washed the inside of the sandals with dish soap, and it took care of the problem. I was concerned the footbed is a man made material, which i thought would cause a sweating problem and the last thing i wanted was my feet slipping around in the shoe in hot weather. I'm happy to say this did not happen. All though i found i needed to wear socks, as my toes rubbed when barefoot. Over all very comfortable and supportive shoe.

I love my Keens...I wore them all over Thailand...meeting people there from all over the world wearing the same sandal! Now that was fun. I have trouble with my feet...the wide toe bed allows my toes the room they need. These are the only shoes I can wear without pain. I hope you never narrow the toe bed ! I bought a pair for my friend...she is so thrilled with them. They are well made and just very cool. Thanks Keens!

I've finally found a shoe that I like, that fits well, that is functional and practical. The price may be a deterrent for some but I recently bought myself a second pair and a pair for my friends who loved mine. Sometimes the price is worth it and in this case it is.

Perfect shoe for the rainforest!
My wife had me look for a shoe for our trip to Costa Rica. She was specific about me not buying clunky, heavy shoes since we would be walking, climbing, etc... The boys and I were big fans of Keens so I took a chance. Success!!! The Women's Newport H2 Sandal was a hit. She said they were light, comfortable, and perfect. I knew I did well when after an all day family outing full of hiking she gave me the "thumbs up" on the shoes i got her. The structure of the shoe allowed protection through rocky areas and through water with a sharp shell surface. Simply put, I highly recommend these shoes, especially if traveling to Costa Rica during in the rainy season!

Great Shoe
I purchased this shoe and when I put them on they felt very comfortable. They also feel sturdy with good support. I also like the fact that you can tighten the sandals on top if they feel loose. I will use them often as I do a lot of adventure travel and am also hiking through water and walking on rocks etc. I usually wear an 8 size shoe but purchased a size 8 1/2 which fit comfortably.

Great shoes
My Keens arrived quickly. When I tried them on they felt comfortable, except that there was a piece of plastic on the side of the shoe which rubbed on my insole. Apparently this piece was not trimmed off at the factory, so I cut it off myself. End of problem. I have worn my Keens and like the comfort and the protection they provide. I ordered a half size smaller than I usually wear and they fit perfectly.

Wet or Dry
I've had these for a little over a month now. I just got back from a 3 day weekend Hiking/Camping/Kayaking trip. We did a LOT of hiking on STONES on the Edge of Lake Michigan. There would get wet and dry fast. They protected my toes from the rocks. Were very comfortable for hiking in all Day. I wear these Keen Everywhere. I'm so impressed with the Keen H2's that I will consider buying Keen when it's time to purchase new hiking boots. The only downside (very small) is that I had a little chaffing on my big toe, but not bad at all.

Bought these for my wife and she loves them. The ultimate travel shoe, they have the support and comfort for hiking, the waterproof construction for any water sport, cool enough for summer wear, can be used in the gym instead of carrying sneakers and with black socks and a black sandal, appropriate for diner at a fancy restaurant. Easy on and off.
I got these to slip on after motorcycle riding. I like getting out of my motorcycle boots when we stop to eat or sight-see. Especially when it's 97 degrees out! These are great to get on and off, are so comfortable and cool. I can also hike around when we stop for sight-seeing.

Style, Comfort, Durability- at a great price.
These have to be the best hiking/water sandals I have ever owned. I have tried them all; Chaco, Teva, Earth--and I have paid up to twice what I paid for these but none compare in comfort when taking long treks. Keen is at the top of their game when it comes to style, durability, and long lasting comfort. I love these! They look great out on the trail and I can even wear them out on a lazy Sunday afternoon of shopping. Get a pair....or do like I did...get TWO!

Very comfortable!
These shoes are comfy with or without socks. I ordered a half size up, and they're a little long, but I'll just wear socks for rock hopping and activities where snug fit is important. The width is perfect. I have fairly wide feet with tall arches, and was concerned that it would hard to get them on and off, but I can slide them on and off easily. Maybe if you plan to never wear socks, you'll be fine ordering in your actual size, and if you plan to wear socks, order a half size up. It's nice to have them a little bigger just for the ease of putting them on and taking them off. Best would be to try them on at a shoe store to be sure, then come back and buy here :) Altrec has a great price and I got them very fast.

Excellent support, but a little small.
I wish I had read more thoroughly about the sizing of these shoes -- I bought 7.5's, my normal size, and they are a bit too tight. I've been stretching them and attempting to break them in to fit better. As for support, they are quite good for a sandal. The stitching is careful, they are truly waterproof, and the grip on the soles is pretty good, though slippery surfaces still merit caution.

New favorite all purpose summer shoe!
After going to the lake with friends and seeing that they all were wearing Keens, I had to get some! Unfortunately, they weren't shipped in time for a rafting trip followed by a hiking trip so I didn't get to break them in the way I wanted. They do fit just as recommended (one size larger than what you wear) which is always nice when buying online.

I had heard so many good things about these shoes, and know so many people who have them, I just had to get a pair. Love the fit, style and comfort - and lots of choices on colors! Only problem I have is a blister which formed immediately around my bunion, am using gauze and light socks for now. They seem to fit better the more you wear them - a good quality.
