Best Sandal Ever Purchased
I own a pair of Keen Newport that have lasted me for many years. These are a replacement since I have practically worn out my other shoes having worn them in the jungle, ocean, river, desert and in all kinds of environments. These are the best sandals I've ever owned, comfortable, durable and exceptionally versatile. Can't say enough good things about these sandals.

Perfect outdoor shoe
I love these shoes, I tried many other brands and kept getting blisters in various areas, until I tried the Newport. I have hiked, rafted, camped, boated, you name it in them this summer and they are sooo comfortable! No blisters, no breakin period. They fit a little small so I got a half size bigger.

1/2 size to small
I purchased the Newport sandals for my Alaska cruise but they were one half size to small when they arrived.
I returned them and am placing an order for the correct size.
Although I was unable to wear them for my cruise I was impressed with the quality.
I don't normally spend that much on casual wear sandals but I believe they will last long enough to be worth the cost.
The return policy seemed to work flawlessly.

Great sandals
I bought these sandals and love them. The only season I don't wear them is the winter, and my feet are happy as can be during the summertime. The only issue is the dirt that gets trapped in the sandals...which is an issue for all sandals, but really isn't too much of a problem since I just wash them in the washing machine after the season. So all in all, I would buy them again, but maybe a larger size so I can wear them with socks during the colder seasons.

Keen Quality
I have two pairs of Newport H2s and too many other Keens to count. These share the same level of quality as other Keens, but they're just not as comfortable as the H2s.

Love These Shoes!!!
This pair of Newport Sandals is an addition to my Keen shoe collection! I absolutely loved my Newport H2 sandals and decided that another pair was in order. The fit is great and the comfort level is superior - even on my foot that has arthritis. I am a daycare provider who spends many hours on my feet each day and these shoes are so great! I also am able to walk my dog after a long day on my feet without out any discomfort. Like the H2 style these are waterproof - even with the leather which means they clean up nicely. If you have never tried them you are missing out on a wonderful shoe!

Great shoe value
The Newport is a grat shoe for design and comfort. As indicated in several reviews these do run a half size small. The back strap rubs if you don't get the right size. Everything else about the shoe including quality is great.

Very comfortable shoe
I just purchased these keens for my wife and she loves them. I have had a pair for the last year and worn them in all conditions hiking, saltwater, freshwater, and have had nothing but good things to say. I hand wash them from time to time in the shower and have no problems with odor. Overall, I love the shoe and my wife already enjoys hers.

Great everday shoe
This is a great shoe to wear everyday in warm weather. They do make my feet smell a little though. I do not wear them in water. Very comfortable.

GREAT
I really like the Keen Newport sandals. They are dressy enough to wear to work and are so comfortable. The size was right on and I have a wide foot and these fit perfectly.

My favorite shoes
I have had these for five years now and am just now reviewing - they are still holding up like new. I even wear them in the winter with wool socks. They have been in fresh water, mud, salt water, sand, and they still don't smell bad. I have heard people normally buy a half size larger than their normal size, but I bought my normal size and it fits perfectly.

Love them!
I had bought a pair of H2 Newport keens many years ago and these Newport keens are awesome just like my old ones. I did have to break them in a little and they run smaller than the pair I purchased 7 years ago.

Yep, that's a Keen!
This is one of those shoes that you take out the box, put them on and say, "Ahhh". My feet didn't want to take them off. I got the Stone Gray/Aegean Blue color -- like it a lot better in person than in the photo. Width is perfect.

Wonderful comfortable sandal!
As with every Keen shoe I have purchased, this sandal is extremely comfortable and supportive. I usually have to order Keens in a half size larger, which was also true for the Newport sandal. Altrec has a great selection of Keens with good prices. As usual shipping was prompt.

Great for walking!
I received my sandals last week and have worn them several times - rain and shine. They need no "wearing in" time. I find them to fit true to size. I can't wait to wear them on vacation. Will certainly buy again.

Best shoes ever for camping.
Had to get these, everyone at our campsite has them to hike and hang out in, so I was jealous. They run a tad small, but still got my regular size, as I think the leather will stretch out a bit.

LOVE my Keen Sandals!
These are the fourth pair of Keen shoes that I own and once more I am extremely happy with them. So comfortable, that I can wear them all day chasing after my two toddlers! I even have some for my three year old and he loves his!

great sandals
Very comfy - 2nd pair I own and am about to order my 3rd...I wear them with every outfit. I can't say enough about how much I love my Keens. I have friends that have Keens because they have tried mine on and LOVE THEM!!!!! Can't go wrong with this sandal.

COMFY!!
After watching my husband love his Newports for several years, I finally got a pair and am so pleased. I wore them the first time on a slippery half mile evening hike down to Cumberland Falls, KY, and then back up again. Comfort, control and no rubbing/fit issues. I always wear size 10 Keens, and usually 9.5 in other brands. Great shoes, too; I have KEEN hiking shoes and Mary Janes.

Love them!!!
This is the second pair of Keens I bought. In fact around the same time that I purchased these I bought a pair of MBTs and J-41s. I returned both of the other brands. I am looking for sandals for a trip to Disneyland in July. I need shoes that are comfortable, sturdy, and shoes that can get wet then still walk around for the rest of the day (Anyone who has been Disneyland knows what I am talking about). I am wearing this sandal everywhere and am very pleased so far.

A Summer Essential
The advice to order 1/2 size larger was right on-they fit perfect. Comfy, yet very good support for a sandal. Can't wait until the weather warms up here in the U.P. so I can go on another adventure with Keens on my feet.

My Favorite shoe EVER!!
Love these Keens- arrived promptly too! SUPER comfort, flexibility & nice looking, great for around the house, taking a walk, or out & about. Ordering another pair soon :-) Oh but DO order a half size UP, I usually wear a 7.5 and got an 8 they fit perfect.

love these keens! however, i'm finding that i have to order a half size larger as the newer keens run small, despite the fact that ordered the same make and model. but once i ordered the size larger, the fit was still the same great keen fit

The best shoe for every casual event.
Keen's are the best all around shoe. No breaking them in and so easy to care for. Just toss them in the washing machine and let them air dry and away you go.

Very comfortable
I bought a size 9 in a store and they were perfect. I wore them every day until they wore out. I ordered a 9 and it was too small. Had to go up to a 9 1/2. Hard to tell what size you need, but they are still the most comfortable sandal I've ever worn, so it's worth it.

Perfectly Comfortable!
I do a lot of water activities and these fit the bill perfectly. Especially when I go water rafting. They fit my feet as though they were made just for me.

Love my Newports!
These are very comfortable shoes and I wish I'd gotten them years ago. I normally wear a size 9 in a standard width, but needed a 9 1/2. It seems they run about a half size small. If my feet were any wider, I think these would be a little too tight in the width. The color I got was Shitake/Baroque Rose. I like the neutral brown color and the leather is nice looking and soft. The little pink accents make the standard brown which could look rather masculine, more feminine and cute.

Great Comfort - BEST addition to my wardrobe this summer
These shoes are the BEST addition to my wardrobe this summer. They are comfortable, keep your feet cool and your toes safe. You can dress them up for an evening out on the town, or dress them down. Great for cookouts, the ballpark, hiking with your dog or sightseeing the big city.

Fantastic Alternative to my
Wow! I just completed a 2 mile walk with my new Keen Newport sandals and my toes don't hurt. I have a problem with every women's athletic shoe I have ever purchased - the toe box, even when it is rounded, squishes my toes. I have narrow feet so buying a wide shoe is not a solution. Nor is an open toe sandal when doing a lot of up and down hills. With these sandals I can actually wiggle my toes. I mentioned to my son that I was thinking about trying a men's shoe, when he suggested I try the Keen sandals. He is an avid mountain trail hiker and just about lives in his sandals. I ordered the Newport sandals and they arrived the very next day! Great service. Thanks for the fit recommendation to buy a half-size up - absolutely perfect fit with the 8.5.

AMAZING!
My husband just recently bought me a pair and they are amazing. I wear them everywhere. They are the most comfortable shoes. They work well at the lake when we go boating and hiking.

I read the reviews carefully, so ordered a half size larger than usual, which was absolutely right. The shoes are great--in two weeks they've been to Boston (I like to move fast when I travel) and on four hikes, one rugged. As with all open shoes, they pick up small pebbles if you're on gravelly trail. But otherwise, they protect your feet wonderfully and are very comfortable.

A very comfortable shoe!
As soon as I put them on I loved the fit. I have arch problems and I felt completely supported and comfortable. I will definitely purchase Keen again. For sizing I usually wear 6 or 6.5 depending on the brand. The Keen 6.5 was perfect, I didn't need to go to a 7.

fantastic, you must have a pair
I have been boater for many years and this is my second pair of Keen. I now use them for boating, hiking and in our move to Ca now for swimming pool shoes. shopping shoes they are the most comfortable shoes you can wear them all day. First pair lased three years and in fact I still wear them just like the newer colors for modern. My husband just bought a men's pair and he feels the same way as I do. We get so many compliments on them.

I loved it!
I bought this shoe to go hiking in Costa Rica. I've never spent this much EVER on a shoe - not even close. IT WAS WONDERFUL!!! My feet didn't hurt at all and I wore them everywhere for 11 days! Worth every penny! I will continue to wear these shoes until they fall apart and then I'll be buying a replacement pair - they can't be beat!

Great Keen Sandals for Rugged Activity
Wore these to the Actun Tuniichil Muknal Caves and was able to hike on dry and wet rock surfaces and dredge around in waist high level waters with a great deal of security. The construction of these sandals allowed me to hike in different terrain but more importantly protected my toes and feet. The only negative is that the heel straps gave me blisters which surprised me when I bought the size that I would normally wear for all shoes. Perhaps I needed to break them in first....not sure?

Relief from arch pain, finally!
I've had recurring pain in my left foot and have fiddled with various shoes and inserts (Superfeet,stability shoes, cushioned shoes...). I got these for a trip to Disney World and the second I tried them on, my feet felt great. I tried Chacos first, also, but the arch didn't line up with mine. These fit perfectly on a beat-up arch, size 8B, with a previously broken toe. No more flip-flops for me!

I'd seen so many people wearing these and wondered what all the hype was about. A family member bought a pair of the sandals and I tried one on: needless to say I ordered a pair the next day. Very comfortable with no break in needed. I have high arches and they feel good.

Love my Keen Newport's
I discovered Keen's about 6 months ago. I have had a lot of problems with my feet. With these Keen's I don't even need my inserts. This is the best my feet have been in 10 years. I also have a problem finding my size and your company seems to stock this size. I could not even find a pair in the town I live. I will definately use your company again.

I recently purchased these shoes to visit Block Island, R.I. I only took one pair of shoes and the Newport was IT. Waiting for a partial knee replacement, two recently sprained ankles and these shoes helped my balance (obviously I am clumsy) and gave me the support and stability I needed

Wow - so comfy
We did a lot of walking during our recent trip to Thailand and Cambodia. I ordered my Keen Newport sandals 1 size larger than my regular size and wow, they were so comfy. The sandals were really great even when it was raining and the road was muddy and wet.

These are awesome sandals. I've worn them for everything from wilderness canoeing to traveling to going out on the town. I get many compliments on them. For adventuring, they are wonderful for protecting your toes. Buy them! I found these to run true to size.

Great Shoe
I've been having foot problems. Someone suggested Keen shoes. Tried the Newports. Been wearing them for a week and my foot feels better. The Newports run true to size. The Venice H2 runs small. Toes tough end.

Very versatile shoe
Very comfortable shoe that works great with shorts, jeans, capris - whatever! A little on the "warm" side as far as sandals go, but great for all terrain, such as hiking, walking, etc. These shoes also get lots of compliments on their appearance - everyone asks where they can get a pair!

Terrific Shoe!
This is my eighth pair of Keen footwear, third pair of the Newport sandal. Keen are the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn...I'm a true believer. I have a somewhat wide foot and find these to be extremely comfortable. The arch support in Keen is excellent, as well. What I like best about this new style/color is the texture of the leather. The color is closer to a "suntan" once you're sporting one, and the pinholes in the leather seem to make it even softer. Overall it's a great shoe...the whole line is - at least every one I've ever bought.

Great sandals
All Keen shoes are great especially the sandals because they can go from shopping at the Mall to hiking in the outdoors. I l They also are very comfortable and my feet do not sweat in them. I also like the Altrec website and service. Very prompt and nformative about your order.

Great shoe!
Purchased for my wife after I enjoyed mine so much. She has a tough to fit foot, but the Newports are great, especially with their wide adjustment range. These have become her "go to" shoes of choice.
