I bought these shoes for an upcoming trip to China which will entail a lot of walking. I am delighted with these shoes...they are completely comfortable (designed to fit the shape of the human foot), exceptional quality (very well made) and really look good (always important)! Now I am shopping for a pair of Keen slip-ons for the flight. These Presidio shoes fit true to size on me.(I am 5'4" 130 lbs.) My experience with Altrec.com was also excellent. Nice fit. Love Keen's. That is all I wear now. They have great support so my feet never hurt even after wearing all day. I have heel spurs but these are the only shoes that don't bother me, and I've spent a great deal on Nike shox and New balance but nothing beats the Keen shoe. Great style too. The presidio is a sleek shoe with that great Keen footbed. I have a wide foot so I enjoy the room in the toe box. The presidio is not as wide as the briggs so it is a bit more stream lined. I wear them to teach in, walk in, work out doors in, etc... Great shoe. Just wish they had the Presidio with an all black sole and upper.

I have a number of pairs of Keens- all comfortable. I too had to size up in the Presidio. I have a pair of Winthrop boots in a 7 which fit comfortably, a pair of shoes in a 7 which felt short in length so this time I sized up to a 7.5, but unfortunately felt much like the 7 and I am sizing up once again to an 8. The Shitake looked in the picture to be made of both Suede and leather but was all leather and still looked great.

This is the 3rd pair of Keen's that I have bought. (One pair for my daughter and 2 for me) I love every single one. This one is a regular shoe like with shoestrings that you tie. I love the fit and will look into buying more. The sizing to me runs perfect. Not too big, or too small. I have worn them everywhere and have not found like in my other boots or tennis shoes that my feet end up hurting. I decided to take the plunge on actual shoes as my other keens are sandels and this time of year (December) it is just a tad cold in Indiana to wear them ;) .I love them and will now look into more styles so I can have Keens for year round. I highly recommend!!!

I have purchased Keen sandles in the past and was very pleased with the fit and comfort. Generally I like to try on shoes before a purchase but I ordered these sight unseen and am very happy with them. I wear a size 10 and these are a perfect fit. The wide toe area has plenty of room for socks and there is no presure on the toes. I wore them for a full day the first time I put them on and there was no "breaking in"-very comfortable! They look so much dressier than the regular sneaker that I can wear them in a lot of different situations and they will not seem too casual.

Madder Keens

This is the second pair of Keens I own. Left my originals at my Mother's house in Canada. That way I am always assured of having comfortable dry footwear. My sister has been visiting Canada and wearing my black Keens and was so impressed that she wants to buy herself some. I order Madder Brown and I am very pleased with the color. Looks good, very comfortable and has a good arch support. Would recommend them.

I purchased these shoes in the black and put bright blue laces in them. It adds a really cute touch, I love it!! I went shopping all day a couple of days ago and my feet never got one bit sore! Very comfortable! This is my fifth pair of Keens and I am very much sold on them! One of the reasons I love Keens so much is because they mold to your foot which gives you a great fit!

Sometimes I can't understand why my feet have gotten so old and crabby when I am usually quite pleasant!! Perhaps they are expressing themselves by not wanting to be contained, but sandals and wool socks in winter are not cool - however, they have indicated that they love these shoes!! Finally my brain and my feet are in agreement!!

I bought these shoes for my upcoming trip to Europe in September 2010. I read good reviews on it so I decided to try it. I started using it to break it in and to get a feel of the shoes. I love them and recommend them to all my friends all the time. I am definitely buying more keen shoes in the near future for me and my family.

I ordered my usual size and the shoes fit well. These are good shoes for anyone whose feet are wide in the front. I've had them for a few months and they are good for walking and look nice enough to wear at work. Only minuses are that they aren't very breathable and they make my feet hot. They also get a bit of a crease and some discoloration where the big toe is, because the leather flexes there.

These shoes are so comfortable. I love them so much I had to get a second pair! Altrec was so awesome to return my first pair after I had worn them for three months. The left sole squeaked even when walking on carpet, which I initially attributed to being new. When it didn't go away I called and Altrec happily accepted them as a return. Fortunately, they were still in stock and I was able to purchase another pair! My feet and my ears are happy now!

I recently purchased the Women's Presidio Shoe and am very impressed with the quality and fit of the shoe. I have been breaking them in and they are very comfortable. I will be wearing them on an upcoming trip to Turkey where a lot of walking and exploring ruins will be involved.

I tried the walking sandals and loved them, so I thought I would try these too. They were extremely comfortable right out of the box. I find them more comfortable than tennis shoes for walking long distances. I ordered about a 1/2 size larger than I usually wear and the fit is perfect. I will definitely order more of this brand.

Had to size up 1/2 a size. Totally satisfied with the quality of construction, looks and comfort. It looks great and feels good too. I suffer from Plantar Facetious and have no foot pain what so ever while wearing this shoe and that can be up to 13 hours a day. Quality shoes that will last.

Great shoe for all day wear

This is my first pair of KEEN shoes, (not sandals) I was looking for a comfortable shoe to wear at work, as well as while traveling. I was able to wear these all day right out of the box no break in period required. They are a little heavier than I would have liked, but they are very comfortable, good arch support, I normally have to exchange insoles on shoes and the factory insoles fit perfectly. I did get a 1/2 size larger, I'm 5'2", normally wear a 7 and I got a 7.5

great shoes, I order these all the time because i have feet problems and these are the only shoes that don't hurt. I use to be a runner but had to stop because of my feet i can wear these shoes all day with out any feet problems. 4 years now the same shoe. can't wear only another shoe.

I love the Keen Presidio shoes, so I ordered a replacement to my old ones in the same size as my old pair. I normally wear size 6, but the old pairs had been size 7 and had fit perfectly, so I ordered the new shoes in the same size. The new pair was over half-inch longer than the old shoes in the same size! I just re-ordered a size 6.5, which fits well. Great shoes, but strange how the size varies so much in the same style! Altrec's service has been great -- what prompt delivery!

These are terrific shoes! Even though the product description says most people order up a half size, I found them to be true-to-size. And talk about comfort! Right out of the box, they felt like shoes I've owned forever ... very comfy! Love the look too. I highly recommend the Keen Presidio!

these shoes are very comfortable. i have stubbed my toes with them and they are sturdy and durable. a little bit roomy in the toe box but the fit is true to size for me. the waterproof material can easily be brushed with a suede brush and back to looking new.

I purchased one pair of these shoes locally and thought they were the most comfortable shoes I'd ever worn and wanted to have a second pair in reserve when my original ones wore out. I was having a hard time finding them so searched online and found several pair in my size at altrec.com. I ordered them and was amazed at how quickly they were shipped and arrived. This pair of Keen Presidio shoes is my 6th! I am on my feet all day with my job. Presidios have a wide toe box and a deep heel cup which keeps my foot stable all day. I used to have bouts of plantar fascitis and achilles tendonitis but I have not had any flare ups since I started wearing my Keens.

Purchased these for my wife. This is her second pair (she wore out the first pair wearing them nearly every day) and she wears them at the hospital when shes working. She spends alot of time on her feet and she LOVES these shoes. Full support yet still soft and comfortable. We also love the Keen Newport sandals.

I am new to the brand of Keen, and have to say I was pleasently surprised at the comfort and style of shoes. From the moment I put them on I knew I could wear them all day and my feet didnt hurt. Its like walking on clouds. Great looking shoe, my sister wants a pair now. Well worth the money. I will keep buying Keen and will purchase them for my toddler next, she needs a good supported shoe for all the walking she does. I ordered true to size, a little on the wide side.

I own several pairs of Keens, and I purchased this shoe for my sister, and when she received it (I mailed them to her) she said the tongue of one of the shoes barely clears the last lace, and the other is the right length... Other than that, the shoes fit great, are beautiful, and feel like Keens should feel! True to size, good for a wider foot. Keen shoes are awesome.

I'm sold on the comfort of Keen shoes. I own Targhee boots, sandals and the Presidio. I wear an 8 and need a little more width at the toes. The Presidio fits perfectly. These are the shoes I wear when I go geocaching. I don't always know where these caches are placed. The terrain can change from a paved road to a climb up a rocky embankment or at a muddy lake's edge. I like the leather uppers because it protects my feet, and it keeps my feet warm and dry in the rain or snow. The one draw-back is the outer sole at the heel wore down after wearing them for 2 years. Other than this, the shoes still look good and it's very comfortable. I bought a new pair in the same color.

I have purchased and returned this shoe several times, I SO want to love it! It's one of the few Keen shoes in which it doesn't seem the quality is going downhill; I've been really impressed by how well they are put together These shoes are super, super cute. They make my (8.5 wide) feet look TINY. I get a ton of compliments and the water resistance is stellar. The shoe is super comfortable with excellent support, but I hit the same problem I have with many Keen lace-ups: although there is plenty of room in the toe box for my wide feet, the heel cup is too "sloshy" ... the shoe slips around a lot on my heel. I tried a smaller size, but that simply pinched all over. I usually wear an 8.5 wide in all other shoes (an 8.5 regular in tennis shoes) ... in the Keen shoes that do fit me, I always stick with a 8.5. I've tried up and down, but for me they are true to size.

I just love the color of my new Keen shoes. I have been looking for this color for a good while and was pleased when they arrived. The fit of the shoe is true to size. As an employee of a VERY busy coffee shop, I am on my feet for 10 to 11 hrs a day. I also have an issue with my left foot where I must wear shoes that allow my toes to be completely free from any squeezing together or the last three toes will go numb. Since I developed this condition I have been wearing Keen shoes, specifically the Presidios for work, and they have been PERFECT. The wide toe box gives both feet all the room I need to be comfortable all day long and the leather really holds up to coffee, milk and syrup spills! A quick wipe of a wet cloth cleans them up beautifully! I am currently on my fourth pair of work Keens in 6 years, and specifically my third pair of Presidios. I love them! I hope they will continue to offer these shoes for a long time. Thanks for a great shoe line.

These shoes are the best! Extremely comfortable, water resistant and funky. They do run about a half size small, so go one half size up when you buy them. I would definitely recommend them! They are a really great pair of shoes for every day wear.

These are an older Keen style. But they are as comfortable as the Kaci, and Toyah styles. My friends tell me they wear these shoes and are on their feet all day with no problems.

Purchased the Deep Lichen. Color was not as in picture. It is a two-tone, still cute so I decided to keep. Had just recently ordered these in the Port Royal sz 6 1/2 and the fit was perfect. At first I thought my feet were swollen...so I tried on my Port Royal...they were ok. Well...it seems the left shoe was shorter then the right...so short it made my toes hurt. The right shoe was even shorter then the Port Royal pair but did not hurt. I sent them back :( Altrec refunded my $$ no questions asked, did not give me a hard time. I was very pleased with their service and will be ordering again from them.

Excellent wide fit. Nice color, though at first I thought it was worn. I guess that's just how its made. The workmanship is good and I believe will last a long time. Comfort is A-class and will work well for people with fallen arches....Good support and all-day wear.

A personal challenge

This is just the shoe I was looking for to wear on my upcoming trip to Europe. Unfortunately, my feet are difficult to fit due to the orthotics I wear. Even though the toe box of the shoe is wide, it is not quite tall enough so top of my toes rub. This is not a problem with the shoe. It is a problem with my feet. :-(

I really enjoy the solidness of this shoe. It's very comfortable. I do have a narrow heel so the heel needed to be propped up inside with a support under the heel which I have done and it is very adequate.

I got turned onto the keen brand from coworkers at a winery where we have to be on our feet all day. I bought the presidio and coronado cruisers and love them both. They are so comfortable and fit well. I am between 6.5-7 and bought a 7 based on other reviews and it's perfect for me. I will be a long time keen buyer.

These shoes are heaven to my feet. They are so comfortable and provide excellent arch support (I have flat feet). Also, they are way cuter than they look on the website - the squared toe box makes them look very contemporary for this type shoe - and they look great with jeans. They are not heavy at all so you hardly realize you're wearing a shoe with so much support. I recommend these for anyone wanting a great shoe for walking, running errands, shopping or just general everyday wear.

Love the look, returned my normal size 8.5 as too lg, and size 8 still a bit big but ok w/heavy sox and lacing very snug.(Other reviews say they run small) Worn outdoors so not returned, will make them work. Love Keens in general, always last years.

I walk about 5 miles a day. I wear nothing but this shoe for my daily walks and the rest of my casual day. I have a wide foot but fit perfectly in this shoe. There's no need to try them on. I just buy them online. I've been were this style for more than 5 years and nothing matches it.

I had to reorder my true size of 8.5 and they fit perfect. True to size the arch hits in just the right spot and keeps my ankles from fatigue. I could tell right away the difference between my wore out shoes and the support these will give. Of course they feel good too. The only reason I gave them 5 stars is because I have not wore them to work yet but they do feel like 5 star shoes so far.

I have an identical pair I wore into the ground, and missed them so much I had to get another. I have a third pair in another color. They are super comfy, need no break in and are stylish. The toe box is wide like a sneaker so you can wear them all day. Love them!

This is my second pair of Keen shoes. I wore out my first of shoes while working at a grocery store. My work is physical and requires versatile shoes that can handle different terrains. These shoes fit the bill! They are comfy, wide, and have great non-slip when working outside in the rain. I also get tons of compliments on how cute they are. These shoes are also cushioned enough to withstand me standing all day. I will never buy any other shoe to fulfill my needs. I have found the perfect shoe!

Runs a little on the short side. I will recomend to order half size bigger if you can. However, they tend to adjust to your fit without any hurt. They are very comfortable and helps to soothes my knee discomfort.. No complaints. I love them. Also the are very nice looking.=)

I am very happy with these shoes. Based on other reviews I ordered 1/2 size up and they fit fine. I have wide feet and generally can not wear B width shoes including other Keens. In fact for several years I have only been wearing NB athletic shoes that are 2E in width. These Keen Presidios fit my wide high arched feet well. They keep my feet dry in wet sloppy weather and clean up easily. Great shoes!

I bought this shoe hoping for a comfortable, neat looking shoe to wear to work. This is it! Keen shoes are great,comfortable, hearty shoes that seem to be able to put up with rough wearing. This shoe runs true to size, and was comfortable with the first wearing. I bought the red, which turned out to be even nicer than the photo portrayed.

THE best all-around shoe

When I bought my first pair of these shoes 3 years ago, they didn't see much use. Looking back, I have no idea why. Once I took them on my first trip, however, everything changed. They were absolutely perfect for 2 weeks in Europe, and as it turned out, back home as well. Since then, they have become my favorite all-around shoe and have seen so much use, that I just ordered my 2nd pair! That is not to say that they're not durable. To be honest, there's still lots of life left in my original pair, but I was worried that the walnut color (which I love) would be discontinued, and I just don't care for the lighter-soled brown variation.

Gave my heels blisters the first day

I wore these shoes to work after I got them and I had to walk for several hours around the plant on concrete. They were pretty comfortable on the bottom of my feet but half way through the day my heels started to hurt because they were rubbing. By the end of the day I had big blisters on my heels. I'm going to try and break them in slowly and hopefully that'll get rid of the problem. Kind of bummed I spent so much money on these shoes.

Great shoe, but as usual have to order 1/2 size bigger for keen shoes (not sandals). Love the extra coverage at the toes, and the great insert and foot bed of the shoes and its looks great with my pants. All in all a great shoe.

Well made and sturdy. I ordered a 10 but usually wear a 9 1/2 for a good fit. My foot is narrow and, with good socks, they fit well, but are still a little sloppy around the heel. Looking for a heel cup to solve that problem. Also added an extra thin insole for cushioning. Wore them through wet grass all day and stayed dry. Overall, as usual, a great shoe from Keene.

Too big and clunky for me

Thi is my 2nd pair of Keen Presidio shoe. I normally wear a 8 - 8 1/2 with keen I always get a size 9. Keen is the only shoe I have ever own that you can wear right out of the Box. No need to break them in. I have never had blisters or hot spots. The color I purchased is a bladder. It is a dark red and I Love it. I highly recommend keen they are worth the cost they last forever! But do go up a 1/2 size.

These shoes are the best. I have Plantar Fasicitis and they seem to help my feet and don't hurt when I work 8-12hours a day. I would highly recommend this shoe and I do to all my co-workers. Great shoe and will be buying another pair very soon for non work related things.

Plenty of room in the toebox in this shoe, yet they lace up nice and snugly and you can walk all day in comfort. Good color selection, too. I got the walnut and I'm tempted to get a second pair! They fit best in my usual size.

Fantastic shoes, extreme comfort and fit.

These are my third pair of Keens. The most comfortable yet. I love them. I get compliments every time I wear them
