Shasta--good looking AND waterproof

Since my 4 year-old Keen waterproof hikers have finally semi-retired, I ordered the Shasta WP hiker for my springtime job working in a retail greenhouse/nursery. I can walk all day on the concrete floors and water my feet along with the plants and still be dry and comfortable. It's hard to find a hiking shoe that fits my somewhat narrow foot, but Shasta fits me perfectly, although I did order a 1/2 size larger than most of my shoes. This is my third pair of waterproof Keens, and my first two pair lasted me over 3 years each. They're well worth the investment! I wear these shoes for hiking also, and they are excellent when walking on loose gravel.

Previous reviews of this shoe indicated that I should order a half size larger. I did and they fit perfectly. Have been wearing them daily when I hike with the dogs. Great shoe!

LIKE MOST PEOPLE ONCE YOU WEAR A KEEN SHOE, YOU NEVER WANT ANY OTHER. LOVE MY FIRST PAIR, THAT ARE 2 YRS. OLD. THESE ARE NOT THE FIT, I AM LOOKING FOR. I HAVE A HIGH ARCH, AND THE TONGUE OF THE SHOE DUG INTO THE TOP OF MY FOOT FROM THE MOMENT I PUT THEM ON. I HAVE RETURNED THIS PAIR AND HAVE PURCHASED A DIFFERENT STYLE KEEN.

These shoes are sooo great! I find them very comfortable and lucky for me, they fit my orthotics. The colors are great. I also tried this shoe on at my local sports store before I purchased online to make sure I got the right size. I had to get a 1/2 size smaller than I normally would've. Overall, this is a great shoe and feels like it will last a very long time. Quality made.

Great pair of hiking boots. I live in Alaska and have used them for hiking and just for biking/walking around. Kept my feet very dry, at a good temperature and comfortable. Would definitely recommend these shoes!

I spent a considerable amount of time researching womens trail shoes and I called Altrec for help. The customer service representative did a great job drilling down to what I needed and they hit it on the head. The Keen shoe is extremely comfortable and functional in all types of terrain.

This is the 3rd pair of Shasta WP Hiking shoes I've bought. I know to buy 1/2 size bigger in all Keen shoes. This particular style is easy to break in, lightweight and comfy on the trail.

I only wear Keens shoes now for the last 4 years. The fit and comfort is so perfect. This Keen is not disappointing me. My other Keens have a very wide look to them but this on is a narrow shoe. I am able to wear it to work and play. I haven't yet had a chance to test the water proof capabilities but Keen has not let me down in that area before. I love the stitching design on the shoe, a great girly touch for an out doorsie girl like me. Mud and dirt just seems to drop off the shoe and so little care is needed! I choose this shoe because of it is WP, the color charcoal goes with play and dress cloths, and for the Keen reputation. It did take over a week to get the shoe.

These shoes are perfect for walking, they are super comfortable and they are not as wide as most other Keen shoes, therefore fits my feet perfect. They are built very durable and gives a lot of flex when you walk out in nature. Awesome shoes!

I usually wear a size 7 (US) in ALL shoes/boots, but I require a size 7.5 for Keen boots and these trail shoes. I have narrow heels, but a medium forefoot and these shoes accommodate for that. The only complaint I have is that the laces/shoes loosen quickly while hiking, as the last loop for the laces is not a locking one like on Keen boots. I will just have to get creative to lace them differently. That is why the comfort rating is not "excellent." No blisters, no rubbing, comfortable for greater than 5 mile difficult hikes out of the box. Will purchase from Keen again.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE these shoes!! They are super comfortable, have a casual yet stylish look, and are waterproof, which is what I was mainly looking for. They have a little more height to them, too, which helps to keep the bottoms of my pants dry :) One thing to note was that I personally had to order a half size larger than I have with any of my other Keen shoes. No biggie though--Altrec was incredibly helpful and speedy with the exchange!
