The shoes are very comfortable. I have gotten Keen shoes before and I am always pleased. I am very happy with the color, it goes great with jeans. The shoes feel true to size. They will work well with all kinds of clothing.

I've had several Keen shoes in the past... This is my third pair that I absolutely LOVE! I am a Medical proffessional and walk all day long taking care of patients. Never are my feet sore! Lots of toe room and support for long 12 hour shifts on hard floors! There's an old saying..."no foot, no horse" Well, it works the same with humans, "no great shoes, no comfortable feet...no happy worker!"

First pair of Keens...read alot of other reviews on the shoe before I purchased. I am so totally happy with this product. I am on my feet from 5:00am to 7:00 pm five days out of the week...so comfort is the main concern. I do not usually buy a shoe without trying on first...but the reviews convinced me to try this shoe. Glad I did! True to size, comfortable, and a cute shoe to top. Might even buy in another color!!

I have tried numerous shoe in a search for a comfortable pair for everyday wear-and after dozens of tries I have found it! I have worn these shoes nonstop since they arrived a week ago. I wear orthotics and the Toyah works great with them. They are so lightweight but very supportive. I need lots of ball of foot cushioning and these fit the bill. I find them to be true to size in both length and width compared to my other keen shoes. Rest assured to say a shoe is comfortable to me is a rare thing indeed. I bought the black olive color which is very versatile and plan to order another pair soon.

I wore this shoe for the first time today and it felt like an old favorite - no problems at all. I plan on wearing this shoe when I travel the end of March. Love the style, comfort and the support. It's a great shoe for my flat feet.

I have a wide foot and high arches so I don't have an easy time buying shoes that fit. Keens are my shoe. I wear them all day everyday. I can order them without worry. Altrec has great prices, fast service and a great return policy. Altrec is my first choice.

I work a the local library and I am on my feet all day and tried other shoes before trying the keen's. I have keen sandals and hoped that the shoes would be as comfortable. I chose the black color and wore them a week before realizing that I needed more pairs in different colors for my wardrobe. The style of the shoe is casual enough for jeans, but dressy enough for the library. Keep in mind that you may have to order a half size larger than most other brands. As for comfort, I work on a carpeted concrete floor and they are the best shoe I have worn. After a few hours you will notice the difference. Keen's tend to be a bit higher in price, but the comfort and quality is well worth it. They really hold up over time and outlast the cheaper shoes.

I have a rule not to pack new shoes for traveling; I have to break them in locally just in case. I took a chance and packed these after receiving them the day before a visit to downtown San Fran. I didn't regret it at all. They are practical and stylish matching any casual outfit, but even more importantly they were comfortable and supportive from day 1. They have great traction for sure footing in all weather and I really love the olive color. The size is true (perhaps running on the wide side alittle).

Most Keen shoes are great. This is very comfortable, well designed and lasts. The shoe doesn't need "breaking in", just wear and enjoy. It is versatile for casual wear or is dressy enough for most occasions. I know several feople who have bought this shoe and no negative comments at all. I definitely recommend it.

This was the first pair of Keens I've bought and I will continue to buy more. They are very comfy and perfect for walking in. They are the best shoes I've ever had. I bought the black pair and the color looks great.

This is the second pair of Women's Toyah Shoe I have purchased. The first pair was three yrs ago and I'm still wearing them. These shoes are extremely comfortable, for walking, hiking and just for everyday wear. The arch support is just perfect even if I am on my feet all day. I find ordering a 1/2 size up fits better for me.

The person who expedited shipment (next day) to me on these Keen shoes deserves credit for my review simply because without his help, I wouldn't have purchased these wonderful, comfortable, go everywhere shoes. The next day when I received my shoes, I put them on and walked 1 1/2 miles in them. They were that comfortable and I wore them everywhere on my trip. They look good with jeans and khaki's alike. Love the style and my feet love the fit. So glad I found Altrec!

I recently purchased my first pair of Keen Toyah's and I couldn't be happier. With the amount of travel I do, these were exactly what I was looking for. The support is by far better than any other pair of shoes I own. After my first purchase, I returned to Altec.com and ordered an additional 2 pair in different colors.

I start my day off w/ Keen and I end it w/ them as well. They are the first thing I put on when I get out of bed in the morning (my Yogui) and the last thing I take off before retiring for the evening (my Toyahs.) In short, Keen are the ONLY shoes I choose to wear. I wear a size 7.5 and I have found that they are true to size, the toe box is very roomy and have great protection. I work in the medical field and my feet take a real beating being on them constantly for up to 12 hrs a day and/or greater. As for my frame, being "short-n-wide" the Toyahs have enough support that I no longer suffer from back pain. The arch support is phenomenal (I also suffer from plantar fasciitis) and they never need to be broken in. When I ordered my first pair of Toyahs I chose the Urban Chic color as they looked darkish gray on MY computer screen, they ended up being an olive green color so I reordered a black pair which is one of the colors required for my job. If you are looking for black do NOT order the slate black because they are NOT black they are brown in color. I personally think that tennis shoes look unprofessional even when worn with scrubs, the Toyahs however are classy enough to wear casually or for work. Good arch support sturdy, nice colors. Bought them for hiking around the mountains. Do take some breaking in since they are leather and did rub my heels at first. Try to size, roomy toe box.

I had a pair of Slate colored Toyahs and liked them so much that I ordered a pair in Brindle. I thought the Brindle would be lighter colored but it wasn't a lot different. The sole and shoestrings were lighter but not the leather. I would wear these everyday if I could get them to match my work clothes. The insides are smooth and soft and the support is fantastic. I can't say enough about these shoes. They run true to size. Plenty of width.

Have owned Keens in the past and I really like that I can wear them all day in comfort and have no foot, back or knee pain! I was looking for a particular color that I could not find locally and ran across exactly what I was looking for on the Altrec site so took a chance and ordered them. When the order came it was exactly what I wanted and the shipping was fast. I am planning on ordering another color soon. Altrec has an excellent selection of the outdoor products I buy and I have already ordered other merchandise and have not been disappointed!

This is an extremely comfortable shoe that can be used for walking or even a business casual day at the office. The shoe is comfortable, but I would recommend getting a 1/2 size larger than your normal size for the best fit. It's a great shoe. I love it.

These shoes are cute and great for long walks. I took a five mile walk the first day I wore them and my feet felt great during the walk and after. I think these shoes are a lot easier to break in than the Keen Presidio pair that I had before buying the Toyah pair.

These shoes are very durable. Best outdoor shoes ever, this is my second pair and I love them!! They do run a little wide, but not a problem, since I have wide feet.

I love these shoes!! They are comfortable and have excellent arch support. I wore these to work the day after I got them and my feet felt great! I would recommend these to shoes to anyone. The quality is excellent and these shoes look really good with jeans or cargo pants. I will definitely buy another pair of Keen shoes.

The Keen Toyah has a great feel. The heel is rolled, the arch support is great, and the tread is for outdoors. The shoe is casual yet can be worn to look more dressy than tennis shoes.

This is my 7th pair of Keens - I love them all, particularly the tied walking shoes, such as the Toyah. I have two pairs of Presidios, and a pair of Briggs II. These type of Keens fit the best and most accurate. I use them not only for work where I have to be on my feet most of the day, but for walking, running and everyday use. They look more fashionable than running shoes and there is such a variety of styles to choose from. Keens are my favorite shoe!

I love these shoes. They are my 3rd pair of Keens and I absolutely love them! They are perfect for casual wear and very comfortable for a light hike. I wear mine year round and would recommend them to anyone. Keen makes good stuff!

This is my third pair of Keens in this style. I also have a pair of rugged sandles by Keen. I am on my feet all day for work and have found that by the end of the day my feet are not tired and sore. I have wide feet, flat feet and need arch support and these shoes do the trick. These are my preferred shoe to wear to work and while doing errands. They are very comfortable and the style goes well with jeans or cords. For as much as I wear them, the value is great and I tend to be rather hard on shoes and they hold up pretty well. They only problem I've had is on one of the pairs is that the eyelet gromet has come loose off the shoe (it is the hole protector on the shoe where you thread the lace through). All I do is push it back into place while tying the shoe. Other than that, these are one of my favorite shoes to wear.

great fit for my slightly wide feet. Don't believe these would work well for someone with narrow feet. Nice, light weight. Will work great for casual wear and light hiking in a moderate climate. Mild treads, not for heavy trail use. Plan to get many years of use out of them.

Great, but takes time to break-in

I found these shoes to be a little stiff with some break-in time. I have narrow feet, so like to pull the laces nice and tight (esp because Keen shoes are a little wide on me). In doing so, the stiff tongue rubbed the top of my feet a tad bit. Nevertheless, they are still quite comfortable and getting more so each time I wear them, and look great walking in the city or along the wooded creek. I got the slate black (dark brown) color and it has gone great with khaki pants or light/dark jeans. I normally wear size 7 lace-less shoes and 7.5 for running/hiking shoes. Like other Keens I've gotten, I fit 7.5 in these.

I really love these shoes. Pros: pretty much love everything about them. The arch support is just right, the leather is quality, has padded ankles, and is well insulated. They look good and feel solid. I am constantly complimented on them. I got this as a winter work shoe and I have no doubt they will be perfect in the cold. Cons: The tongue of the shoe takes some getting used to - it's sort of pointy on the sides. It has very little ventilation - which will keep feet warm in the winter (hopefully) but will make for hot (read: sweaty) feet all other times. And the shoelaces are flimsy, I'd be surprised if they lasted 3 months.
