I bought them for water work for my dogs - we are required to wear close toed shoes so my other water shoes did not fit the bill. I was concerned they would be hot, or hold too much water, but instead they are amazing. So comfortable I find myself wearing them with jeans!! LOVE them!

Comfortable and Practical

This is my second pair of Women's Venice H2 Sandal. I loved the first pair so much that I bought a second pair. The sandals were more versatile than tennis shoes and sturdier than flip flops. They are extremely comfortable so I wore them to the beach, for hiking, and boating. They last in an out of the water, along hiking trails and offer good traction on boats. They were exactly what I was looking for to use during our warm days.

The Best Ever!

These Keen's are the best ever...lightweight, comfortable, versatile. I ordered a half size up, as recommended. Once I put them on I felt like they were old friends, I wore them all day. They were comfortable and I felt stylish, wearing them at my rural home and shopping in town. Mine are black and go with everything. They are very lightweight yet sturdy, can get wet and still look new, easy on and off. I'm gushing, but what can I do, they're perfect!

The shoe is ideal for someone who spends a lot of time on a pool deck, doing water sports, or likes being active outside. It rids you of the burden of hot socks & sneakers, yet has similar traction, comfort, support, and toe protection.

This is my second pair. They feel like an air cushion under your feet. I liked them so much I bought a pair for my daughter. They are incredibly durable, dry fast and are easy to get in and out of in a hurry. I purchased them for a river rafting trip originally but they are my favorite get around shoe for warm weather. I would highly recommend them. Also love Altrec, great site, easy to navigate, great selection of gear and the outlet is awesome! Monica

My 10 year old son has been wearing Keen sandals for years (very flat feet), and this is my first pair (very high arches). I have awful feet and lots of issues with them, and these sandals feel great. They offer good support and good comfort - I am thrilled to have a good looking sandal to get me through this summer!!

5 years ago my sister gave me Keens as a gift. I have never had a better wearing shoe. The workman ship and fit is superior to any shoe I have ever had. I have a small but wide foot and a big toe that does not like very many shoes but, it loves my Keens.

Totally cool daily & travel shoe! I have blue, red, piink, lime, orange, baby blue, black, cream, on & on. I love the comfort, dry fast, work out shoe, walk on sand, water, lava, rocks, just an all round fab shoe. I even have a couple slide ons. Great to slip into to run out to spa, cut flowers, get mail. And I have to say, once you know your size Altec.com has tons of colors, sizes and get them to to you FAST. A shoe store in my town charges a bucket more $$ & take wkS to a month to get. Just so hard to find in stores. Thank Altrec.com.

These sandals are one of the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever owned. I ordered them after a cousin told me about Keen sandals. She was wearing a pair of Keens while I struggled to keep my pair of slip on sandals on my feet. When I decided to go on a mission trip to South America, I knew I needed something waterproof, with toe protection and arch support -- something that would allow me to stand for long hours or travel by canoe on the river. They fit snugly, dry quickly and never rub blisters on my feet. They provide wonderful traction no matter what the terrain. In fact, I love them so much, I purchased a second pair.

I was thrilled that the sandals arrived so fast. A friend recommeneded this brand Keen to me. I had never heard of them so I took a chance and ordered a pair. I put them on and it was love at first walk. They are so lightweight and comfortable it's hard to believe you have shoes on. I am off to Florida in May and looking forward to putting them to the walking test down there. I am anticipating they will be wonderfull. My husband is looking to find a pair now that he felt how lightweight they are. Easy for packing they won"t weigh your luggage down. More room for shopping...opps Price was more than I would normally spend , but the the reviews were helpful in the deciding factor.

This is the second pair I've had. The first held up for two long seasons of almost daily wear, including extensive walking while traveling. They are cute, but more importantly, they are comfortable and supportive. The shoes run wide, which, for me, means they fit perfectly.

Bought these sandals for walking in the amusement parks. We must have walked 50 miles and the shoes were very comfortable and provided great support. Love that you can machine wash these!

I have had several pairs of Keens but this is my favorite! Comfy, durable and great on my narrow foot. They look great too! I have to wear a closed-toe shoe for my volunteer work and these fit the bill! I am going to get another pair soon.

I have always been a Keen fan, love the shoes. When I saw these on discontinued clearance I had to buy 2 pairs. Whether hiking in the Smoky mountains, walking through streams, or wearing them to work on casual Friday, you can't go wrong. Of course they get a little stinky and your feet get hot, but I just hose them down or rinse them in the sink. Love them.

Bought the shoes as advised: half size larger. I usually wear a 7, and I ordered a 7.5 on these sandals. They were perfect. Went to a day hike: we had to climb rocks, swim across waters, and jump off a cliff to the deep water 30 feet high. The sandals stayed on the feet perfectly comfortable: they did not cause blisters and were not slippery. After I got home, I threw them in the washer and they came out like new.

I needed a sturdy comfortable shoe to work in the garden. These are perfect. They protect my feet whiile being cool and comfortable. When I am through working for the day I can just throw the shoes in the washing machine and they come out just like new. Then I can ride my bike, walk, or run or go shopping. I would highly recommend these shoes for someone that does a variety of summer activities.

This is the fourth pair of Keens (and the second pair of these shoes) that I have purchased and I love, love, love them. They are absolutely comfortable out of the box. They never rub anywhere and can be worn on the beach or to the mall. They may not be the best looking shoes I ever owned but they're okay. These are going on a Mediterranean cruise with me in September and I plan to wear them walking all over. I can (and do) wear them for hours with no issues. I usually wear an 8 but I need an 8 1/2 in these so my toes don't touch the front.

Love my new Venice H2 Sandal!!! The fit is perfect. I ordered a 7.5 and they are exactly my size. They are extremely comfortable. I really like the ability to tighten the sandal with the strap. Took a hike and had no rubbing or discomfort! They are perfect. Love the style and color too! I purchased these because they are for both water and hiking, and that is perfect for me! I would highly recommend these sandals. The tread on the shoes looks extremely good for hiking on rough terrain.

I was looking for sandals for living in California over the summer. They had to be comfortable for walking, as well as protect my feet during the hiking I did. These fit the bill perfectly. They didn't require any time to break in, and I walked and hiked in them all summer without seeming to damage them at all. Whenever they got dirty, I just threw them in the bathtub to wash them off. It was great! I had no problem with sizing - all of my other Keen shoes are 7.5 and these are the same. All in all, if you're looking for an outdoor sandal, I would highly recommend giving these a shot.

This is my second pair of Keen Venice H2 sandals. They're perfect for hiking through shallow streams. I wore a pair hiking in Indiana last year, and I don't know how I ever hiked trails with water without them. My feet are narrow and hard to fit, so I love that Keens are adjustable. I throw them into the washer often and let them air dry, and they've retained their color and fit. The only downside is that small rocks tend to creep into the footbed and I usually have to take the shoes off to get the rocks out.

Was looking for a water shoe that would fit my foot (wide forefoot, narrow heel) and thought I'd give the Venice a try. It fits wonderfully- comfortable and rugged enough to wear hiking. As it is a sandal- you need to watch for small rocks and branches- but there is good traction and support otherwise- great for canyoning and river-raft trips.

I live in these sandals, I am a life guard and these are my winter shoes, They protect my toes, they do not let you slip on wet tile, and are warm enough to wear in the winter outside. The bungie laces make for a quick slip on after swimming.

I bought these shoes for an upcoming whitewater rafting trip I was going on...I knew my feet would be getting wet, and in previous trips I always wore old sneakers. But for this trip I decided that I wanted actual water shoes that would dry quickly and keep my feet covered. It turns out that when I got my shoes they were just a little too big for my feet, so I am actually going to return them for a size smaller..I always wear a 7.5 and these I am afraid that once they get wet they will get bigger and be just a little too big..other than that these shoes look and feel awesome on your foot! I got the all black ones and they look sharp!

I love Keen shoes. They ft good right out of the box. And the toe protection is wonderful if your outdoors in the woods a lot. My only complaint is that they do not dry quickly. But I've worn them river-walking, boating and at the beach and I would bike another pair .. IF this wore out. Which they show no signs of doing.

i have several pairs of keens and the womens venice H2 sandal are just as great as my many others!! they are super comfortable, they last forever, great for camping, hiking, swimming at the lake or river, or just wearing as everyday sandals. great variety of fun colors to choose from, fantastic prices, and very speedy delivery! i am 5'5"/ 145lbs and wear a size a 8 and they fit true to size. love love love!! would recommend to everyone! :)!

These shoes were highly recommended from a friend. I decided to try them out and they have been a real hit with me. I will be buying more Keen's in the future. I followed the recommended fit, and sized up. I usually wear an 8, went up to 8.5 and they fit perfectly. These truly are a wash and wear shoe. Loved them.

I love these shoes! Love the color, I got red with the colored stripes. Really great in the water, had no abrasion from the straps! The size may be slightly off for me...if you want a snugger fit I'd get a regular size but if your worried about the toes hitting and cramming into the end definitely get a 1/2 size bigger.

I bought my first pair at Yosemite Park and have worn them for 2 years now. I had knee surgery one year ago and the KEEN sandal is the only shoe that I could wear and not have my knee hurt. The comfort and support is beyond words. I now have 2 other pairs. The price is very much worth the money you pay to have comfort and support. Anyone out there having knee surgery should invest in a pair of KEEN sandals.

This was my second purchase of the Keen Venice H2 sandal. I have issues with my feet and have to be very particular with what I wear. These are the most comfortable sandals I have ever worn which is why I purchased my second pair. They fit my foot perfectly in the width and I find them to be supportive in both the arch and heel bed. I order the same size as I wear in a sneaker. I wear these when going on trips as they are easy on/easy off when going thru security at the airport. In addition to the fit and comfort, I find them to be a good looking sandal with many options for colors/prints.

I have worn Keens for many years now and these are replacement pair of water sandels. They go from water right to a hike on dry land. They fit my wide foot well, have great support, they don't slip around on my foot, even when wet. I've used them for kayaking and swimming in salt water when rocks are a problem. I think they also look nice enough to wear as a casual sandel. This was my first time ordering from Altrec, but they had the best price and their ordering and shipping were easy and timely. I will certainly use Altrec again.

Pretty and comfortable

It is already pretty warm here in Texas and I decided to wear my sandals to walk my dog. I wasn't sure how well they would do walking on warm asphalt but they did great! We walked almost 3 miles and I didn't even get a blister. They were cool and very comfortable and when snugged down gave great support to my foot. The only thing, not even a complaint really, is that a small piece of grit from the road got in but with a little shake it fell right out. I thought that these sandals were only for fun in the water but they have proven themselves to be good dog walking shoes too!

This sandal "rocks"!! So comfortable and glides right over rough rocks....like walking on air. I wear a size 9 and sometimes have to go a size down to 8 1/2 for sandals, but this shoe fit perfect and is true to size, so the 9 worked well for me...

I love this shoe! This is my first Keen item and I did order a half size up and they fit perfectly. I just wore them for a lot of traveling and my feet and lower back felt great the whole way, I didn't even take them off on the long flight because they were so comfortable. I bought the purple and find they go with most casual outfits.

These are the first shoes I grab when the weather is nice. Not only are they super comfy, they are good for just about anything. Running errands, playing in the water, hiking, walking, etc. They fit true to size & do not need any break in time. Might get another color this year! Love Keen!!

After purchasing a pair of Keen Whispers earlier in the season and having my feet squeezed out of them as they are a bit better equipped to handle "normal width" feet, I decided that I'd try these Venice sandals because they didn't look as "manly" as the H2s. I am so glad I did! They definitely accommodate a wider foot, and are so comfortable! Highly recommended!

comfortable but traction is not good

I ordered these shoes to take on a trip to Costa Rica. I had read many reviews saying that the shoes run small so I ordered a half size up and found them to be too large. They are a comfortable shoe for standing and walking around in but they had virtually no traction on surfaces while in the water. I wore them several days, while slipping and sliding off of rocks and stream bottoms and finally ditched them for my running shoes which had far more traction on wet surfaces than the keens.

This is my second pair (only because I wanted another color!)...I use them for work, play, hiking, travel - I couldn't be without them. They are comfortable for all-day wear, breathable, stable, vegan and washable (which is fantastic after a dusty or muddy hike, or a sweaty day). Love this shoe!

Bought these shoes for costa rica this summer. Needed something waterproof and for rough terrain. They are very comfortable but have a spot on one of the arches of the shoe that rubs really bad but hopefully will go away. I recommend going to a store and trying on a Keen shoe to get an idea how it fits. I wear anywhere from an 8-9. 8 1/2 was a little snug so I went ahead and ordered 9's. They are a little big but fit pretty good and my foot is comfortable and doesn't slide up and down.

Received my Keen's last week. LOVE them!!! Bought them to wear to an upcoming trip to Walt Disney World. Comfort from when I first put them on. Like walking on a cloud. I bought them in my true size and tend to have a wide foot....they fit perfect. Been wearing them around in heat and humidity and no blisters. Having foot problems in the past and a very high arch, I like the support and sole of this sandal. Unsure of durability as of yet, but the quality of the shoe/sandal far outweighs that of competing brands. Like the protection for my toes, yet open to keep my feet cool! Looking into getting another pair for next summer!

i've never been a sandal person, but when i needed water shoes for a camping trip, my boyfriend suggested these. I LOVE THEM. they are super comfortable, dry fast, and didn't cause any blisters or sore spots on my feet. i wear an 8.5 shoe, but got a 9 in these. they run a bit snug.

I was thinking of getting either Salomon's water sandals or Kees's. I chose Keen because of the design and the flexibility. I wore them whole summer after the purchase, and the shoes are still look fine, and I will wear them next summer, too. Only the thing I concern is that the shoes let sand and things inside of shoes since they do not have net whereas Salomon's have. Anyways, I love the shoes and am thinking getting Keen's again when I need to get new one.

This is the most comfortable sandal I have ever worn. This particular style is a little bit wider, so if you have a wide foot this is the perfect choice. You can wear this as casual footwear or for that hike you take around the lake. Don't worry if you get it wet, it drys beautifully and you would never know that a drop of water ever touched it. If you are questioning the cost, it is worth every penny. This is the shoe to get for those days when a sandal is the perfect shoe.

This is my third pair of Keen sandals. I've had the Venice H2 in blue for 3 years, wear them ALL the time, and they still look and feel great. The only thing I've had to repair is the center elastic which Keen provided for free. I also have a pair of the Newport sandals, but find that my feet get too hot in them especially in the summer time in Texas. The Venice H2's are a year round sandal and well worth the price.

This is my second pair of Keen Venice H2 sandals. It is the only sandal I would ever buy to use for kayaking. The double side strap allow for much easier on and off especially when they are wet. A truly quality product.

So Comfortable

These shoes are the best. I have very sensitive feet and often find myself giving away shoes I have bought after only one or two wearings because they are uncomfortable. I would wear these babies to work if I thought I could get away with it! They slip on and off easily.

Purchased for my daughter to replace a well worn pair of Newports. She uses them largely for sailing. Returned the Venice after she said that their feet slipped around more than in their origninal Keens. Great build quality and very comfortable, just not as good as the original for sailing. Recommended otherwise.

I have a pair of H2 and thought my wife would like a pair for her birthday. She does. I bought her a half size up of her foot, not running shoe, size as described and it fits perfectly. It is stylish for the summer wear, even in town.

I was thrilled that the sandals arrived so fast. A friend recommeneded this brand Keen to me. I had never heard of them so I took a chance and ordered a pair. I put them on and it was love at first walk. They are so lightweight and comfortable it's hard to believe you have shoes on. I am off to Florida in May and looking forward to putting them to the walking test down there. I am anticipating they will be wonderfull. My husband is looking to find a pair now that he felt how lightweight they are. Easy for packing they won"t weigh your luggage down. More room for shopping...opps Price was more than I would normally spend , but the the reviews were helpful in the deciding factor.

This is very sad, but I ordered this sandal and tried it on when it came. I absolutely loved everything about it. Alot of support, great color and very durable as all Keen shhoes are. Then, I lost my job, and decided I could not afford these shoes right now, so I had to return them. I plan on getting them soon.

Took these to Europe for 3 weeks of walking through ruins, towns, etc. The airy-ness of a sandal with the utilitarianism of a gym shoe--PERFECT!

Purchased these sandals about 2 months ago and love them! Ordered my normal size and wore them the same day they arrived. I spend alot of time on my feet organizing outdoor events so they needed to look good and give good foot support as well as not slowing me down in the rain. Have also worn them for hiking and canoeing this summer ... and they still look great! Awesome sandal!!

Totally cool daily & travel shoe! I have blue, red, piink, lime, orange, baby blue, black, cream, on & on. I love the comfort, dry fast, work out shoe, walk on sand, water, lava, rocks, just an all round fab shoe. I even have a couple slide ons. Great to slip into to run out to spa, cut flowers, get mail. And I have to say, once you know your size Altec.com has tons of colors, sizes and get them to to you FAST. A shoe store in my town charges a bucket more $$ & take wkS to a month to get. Just so hard to find in stores. Thank Altrec.com.

This didn't fit like the others

This is the fourth pair of Venice 2 sandals in 3 three years. The others fit perfectly. I have had purple, yellow, brown and now a light blue mix. The purple, yellow, and brown fit perfect. The light blue mix runs small, and the arch support is in a different place. While I will wear them, I won't 'live' in them as I did with the other 3 pairs I have. Maybe each color is made in a different place?

Super Outdoor Sandal

I am a huge fan of Keen sandals and maryjanes, and the Venice H2 is one of my favorites! I have this particular style in several colors, and love to wear it around the neighborhood, as well as for travel. Because of its open construction, it's a great shoe for long flights and is easy to remove for security checks. It's so much more than a water/beach shoe! With a sturdy quarter sock, it even works well for day-hikes.

I have been wearing Keens for over 5 years and they have never failed me. These shoes are a replacement for another pair that I simply wore out. I purchased the lilac-colored sandals and love the look. The size and width are also very true-to-size as well.

We have always been a fan of Keen's sandals and this one is no exception. My wife likes the new style and the green color is so natural. Keen sandal lasts very well, we weal them all summary and into fall and they last for years. All 4 of our family have Keen scandals, and we wear them to play in the water and even light hiking--they are very comfortable.

I bought these shoes for an upcoming whitewater rafting trip I was going on...I knew my feet would be getting wet, and in previous trips I always wore old sneakers. But for this trip I decided that I wanted actual water shoes that would dry quickly and keep my feet covered. It turns out that when I got my shoes they were just a little too big for my feet, so I am actually going to return them for a size smaller..I always wear a 7.5 and these I am afraid that once they get wet they will get bigger and be just a little too big..other than that these shoes look and feel awesome on your foot! I got the all black ones and they look sharp!

I love black/gargoyle! This shoe is amazing.

I don't give out 5 star reviews lightly, but these shoes are the best. Period. I have finicky feet, too --- but these shoes do not rub, pinch or otherwise leave my feet or toes hurting. I wear these shoes year round, and live in them on the weekends. They can even take some light hiking. I especially recommend black/gargoyle.

Keens are long lasting, forgiving & protect my diabetic toes. The purple color is the best! Fits a wide foot nicely. Well worth the full retaill price!!

Great sandal! Fit runs true to size, dries in a flash! Would buy another pair in a heartbeat. Keen is the best and the price on Altrec was great! These sandals feel great on your feet, would never think of trying a different pair.

I purchased this shoe for our boat after a sailing magazine gave them a high rating, even though I have hard-to-fit feet so don't order shoes online often. I liked them so much, I ended up wearing them all of the time rather than leaving them on the boat. They are very comfortable, and while not a feminine style, I think they look great when I am dressed casually.

These are great, when your feet get wet you still have grip on the soles, awesome for traction. They run small, I wear an 8 in heels and I think I got these in an 8.5

I wear a size 7 B/C and the Venice H2 is really comfortable. The footbed is perfect for my wider feet. The straps are webbing, so it's a good summer sandal and definitely my *go-to* shoe for walking. It's does not feel as sturdy as my Keen Newport (leather straps), but it's lighter and my feet feel secure when I'm wearing the shoes.
