Can't say enough good things about the shoes. I destroy shoes quickly, but these have held up great and have been oh so kind to my rheumatiod dogs that I now where them for long hours on emergency shifts. Ginormous toe box, great arch support and light weight all balance perfectly. Dog bless my Keens. Dr. Kim

I bought these to wear to work for the winter. I have to go on field calls occasionally and these Keen Voyageurs are perfect for in the casual office and out in the field. Keens tend to run a bit wider than other women's hiking shoes and boots for which I am very grateful. I usually wear a 6 or 6.5 wide and the 6's in these fit me just right. They are quite comfortable right out of the box and take very little breaking in.

I bought these hiking shoes to take to Ireland, I took them right out of the box put them on and have not wanted to take them off, they are very comfortable. They are very supportive and so stylish! This is my favorite shoe/sneaker. I work in a surgicenter, so am on my feet much of the day and this shoe is attractive, comfortable, and is very supportive (I have flat feet). It needs to be bought a half size larger than your usual size. I am buying extra pairs in case they no longer make this style - that's how good it is. Many of our staff have started buying this sneaker once they tried on this style.

These shoes are very comfortable and look great. Perhaps a tad on the heavy side, but overall, great purchase! Much for stylish than regular sneakers, but much more comfortable.

My everyday shoes used to be New Balance's line of 990s, but in the past year or two, I started to experience knee discomfort and numbness in one of my big toes. I do a lot of walking, and I also noticed that my feet got sore very quickly. I finally determined that my NB running shoes were just not suitable for extended wear (though they are great for running)and I started looking for something a bit more stable. I gravitated towards Keen because I already own two pairs of Keen sandals and a pair of Keen hiking boots. Keen is a great brand (though I wish they didn't manufacture everything in China...)! I usually wear size 7 in athletic shoes and 6 1/2 in dress shoes. The 6 1/2 fits my foot perfectly, though I do wear these with regular socks. I was worried about the stiffness in the beginning. And the laces are a bit difficult to tighten and loosen. But now that I've been wearing them for two weeks, I see that I made a great purchase. They are very comfortable and supportive. And I love that I can wiggle my toes so freely in the wide toe box! My knees and big toe feel much better now.

The keen voyageur shoe is my sneaker replacement. Perfect for running errands and in my case, work, which involves quite a bit of walking. It provides much more support than any sneakers I've purchased and it is much more attractive. I have wide, flat feet and these shoes are perfect. I'm normally a small size 8 and I needed an 8.5 in this shoe. I've recommended this shoe to friends, who've purchased them, and are also very pleased. Also, a great shoe for traveling.

A year ago I started a job at a state park that would require me to hike, walk, and stand around trails A LOT. I had never bought a hiking shoe before but knew I wanted them to fulfill a few necessities: They have to protect my toes from unexpected bumps in the road a.k.a razor sharp rocks and toe breaking falls; They have to stay on my feet in the event of sliding rocks and river crossings; They have to dry fast; They have to be cute and make my huge 9 1/2 feet look small; They have to breathe because my feet sweat more than they should and it is really hot where I am at; They have to be made well because my feet kill shoes in a short amount of time; They have to come in another color than "dirt"; They have to provide me with arch support that doesn't disappear over time; I know it is a lot to ask but I'd like to put them on and not have to break them in; and They have to be a brand worth wearing. These shoes fulfill ALL of these things and they look like Sketchers for those who care. Five Gold Stars!
I am now on my second pair of these Voyager Keens because I like them so much. They lasted one year on my feet wearing them daily. I do have some cons though. If they should get wet the leather dries quickly, gets wrinkled right away, fades and splits from the rubber. It didn't affect the performance of the shoe but it made then look older prematurely. I should have seasoned them immediately. They hold on to dirt that gets in the hard to clean places and the mesh is a pack rat when it comes to clingy itchy seeds from plants. I had to use tweezers and accidentally pulled a few fishing line-like strings. The first thing to go was the lining material in the inside heel of the shoe. I must have rubbed against it so much it just frayed and the foam stuffing came out. It happened after over eleven months of daily use. I think that if I had avoided using them so heavily and in the water at times they would have lasted longer. They also took on the shape of my walk. I am a heavier person with a funny walk so in about nine months my mother (good ol' mom) noticed that the back of my left heel being pressed in a certain direction made my shoe look crooked.
I like these shoes and will buy them each year until another pair can prove they're better. I must note that I really bashed the front of my shoes so bad going down a rocky slop with a group that they were so sure I broke an ankle or broke my toes. It was definitely a spinning ballerina moment but the front of the shoes protected my toes from what would have been a toe breaking experience.

These may be my favorite Keen shoes. I could wear them immediately right from the box with no breaking in period. I did order one size larger because I wanted to wear socks with them for hiking. I like the "look" of them too....not as big and bulky as some hiking shoes. I'm sold on Keen shoes!

These shoes have been a perfect choice for me. I needed a very solid, stable shoe as I am on my feet all day, up and down ladders, and did not want a boot. They absorb the impact so my feet aren't as tired at the end of the day, and fit very true to size. My only complaint would be the laces are not long enough to double knott, but that can be easily remedied.

Winter was a breeze this year in comfortable, warm, easy on & off boots by Keen. I was so impressed that I purchased a pair of Keen Voyageur hiking shoes and found the same comfort, great fit, and no break in period. Keen is now my favorite brand.
KEEN ON KEEN - 2009-02-24ONLY KEEN SHOES ON MY FEET
Right out of the box, I went for a 5 mile walk on pavement. The first half mile, I was having second thoughts about it, but then, like every pair of keen I own, they just became part of my feet. These are a great alternative to the stiffer targhee to give the feet a softer shoe for a change. I have bad feet, and before keen shoes, I could not hike or walk without pain. Keen are the only shoes I wear, period. I have sandals, mary janes, boots, shoes, winter and summer, it is all I will put on my feet. I love my Keens!

Love these shoes. I put them on and they fit with great arch support and comfort in the heel. I wore them to work all day the next day with no problems. Lots of compliments on appearance too. I also plan to wear them for daily walks and hiking. One of my many pairs of Keens!

Love this brand. I have walked through 1 pair of Targhee II and well into a second pair--also own a third pair. The first review of the Voyageur talked about the heel being more narrow so I ordered them. Really like them. Also have 3 pairs of the Presido, pair of the mid-high Targhee II, and a pair of sandals. Now I just look for the brand when purchasing shoes! My husband loves the brand, too.

My husband & I are avid hikers, both in Fla. and the mountains of North Carolina. I have wide feet, high arches, and narrow heels. Most shoes have pointed toe boxes, which caused me bruised toes on steep downhill hikes. Buying a larger/wider shoe resulted in sloppiness in the heel area, causing blisters. At the recommendation of a fellow hiker, I tried a pair of Keens on at a shoe store in an upscale resort area, and fell in love with the fit, though not with the high price of $110. I searched and found them on the Altrec site for a reasonable $69.87 (and no shipping charges!). I was glad I had tried them on previously though, as I needed a size 8 rather than my usual size 7 1/2. I ordered them on a Sunday, and was pleasantly suprised when they arrived the following Sat. (No small feat given the distance from Ore. to Fla., and a spate of godawful weather in the northern U.S. at the time.) I wore them on a five-mile hike yesterday, and they were heavenly. It was like walking barefoot, with absolutely no pressure on my toes, yet adequate heel and arch support. I will DEFINITELY be buying Keen again, and from Altrec. I have my eye on a pair of waterproof boots.....

I have had trouble with plantar fascitis for a few months and needed a shoe with arch and heel support. This shoe has been better than I had hoped for. I would recommend this for anyone doing anything on your feet!

Went to Ireland and it rained the whole time, didn't fall hiking, great traction and stayed DRY, while the other people had soggy shoes!

I am on my feet all day and have a great deal of difficulty finding casual shoes that feel good all day. From day one these shoes felt great and provided support throughout the footbed like no other shoe. They look good with jeans, casual pants, or shorts. Will buy Keen shoes again before others.
