We buy new Keens every year. They provide better than average arch support, which is essential for a growing foot. They breathe in our hot southern climate, while protecting toes. Altrec delivered as promised. I did utilize expedited service, and was very pleased with the delivery. I will be using Altrec again, especially when purchasing Keens for my family.

Keen sandals wear like iron. The kids wear them to the lake, on canoe trips, to the pool. They grow out of them and they still look like new. Seems true to size for my 8 yr old son (4). My daughter wears a 5.5 and the 5's fit her nicely. There are a variety of different styles but my kids think this style with the back heel cover are the most comfortable, as opposed to the open back heel.

I bought these for her on sale! She wears a 4 1/2 tennis shoe, but I bought the youth size 5 upon reading reviews. They have a little room to grow, but a good fit. They were so easy for her to slip on and adjust herself. She is almost 10. We will be hiking in Moab, UT and white-water rafting. Can't wait to try them out.

I'm lucky to have a women's size 7 foot which means I can fit a youth size 5 and take advantage of all the fun colors. I bought these in Crocus and absolutely love them. They are so comfortable and machine washable too. These are the only shoes I'll be needing for our upcoming trip to Orlando. Keen has it covered. The fit and comfort of a sneaker, the breathability of a sandal and a water shoe to boot! Fantastic shoe!!

I was happy to finally find a hiking sandal I could afford. The sandal is extremely comfortable to wear. I love the fact that the toes are covered completely. I would recommend these sandals to anyone.

Versatile and cool in summer. I am happy to have found a sandal that keeps his toes covered, is comfortable, and fits his wide feet. Wish they were a little less expensive, though, since he needs a new size every summer!

Both kids love the sandals. Perfect fit for playing whatever, in wet or dry. I appreciate the protection and support the sandals provide, while they like the comfort and want to wear them everywhere - even to bed.

My 3 kids love these sandals. The traction and covered toe have made them excellent for day hikes, and the fact that they are still a sandal has made hiking through streams easy and not a big deal. The only problem on our last hike is that we reached snow on the trail at the top, and their feet got cold! Great for biking and all around summer fun, too! NO blisters yet!

I am a woman with a small foot and couldn't find a sandal with an enclosed heel that was well made and reasonably priced. Small stones and gravel always get flipped into the heel-less sandals, which must be taken off to remove the stones. Voila! Youth sandals- well made at nearly 1/2 the price!

My husband, our two kids and myself have been wearing keens since they were first offered (? 5 years). These are the best shoes for any type of activity. We hike, bicycle, kayak, enjoy steams, oceans, lakes, creeks while wearing them. They are so comfortable and withstand all types of abuse. Dry fast, no smell. My kids wear them to school and they qualify as gym shoes. When the weather gets cold they will wear them with socks until it either snows or rains when it is very cold outside. We purchase them every year for our growing children. Spring 2010 our son had his keens stolen off the beach. He was so sad. They were purchased last summer and still fit him with room to grow. The good news is the introduction of the bronze green color (camouflage print). Well, we bought these in his old size and two sizes up! We LOVE these shoes. They take abuse and don't show it. Don't worry about price because these shoes last and last! When outgrown we send them to my brother who has ten children. After being worn by multiple children, one shoelace had to be replaced. No, I do not work for this company. First time buyer with altrec.

This shoe is immediately comfortable. The inside is very cushiony and has nice arch support. The color is a very nice warm (orangey) brown and should go with most outfits. I wish I would have bought the next size up but these will work for my kid for a season.

I have six year old twins. We went to Disney last week, and I purchased these shoes for comfort and quick drying after water play! THEY ARE WONDERFUL. I am ordering more for them for our trip in June! They fit great and the kids say they are very comfortable.

This is a must have for boaters, rafters and general outdoor activities for the entire family. I love this sandal and the other Keen sandals that I own! SOOO comfortable and very sturdy, last forever! You can't go wrong with these sandals, everyone should own at least one pair!

We have three boys that wear nothing but Keen Newport H2 Sandals. The only thing I would suggest is a better way to indicate the sizing. It wears off after three wearings. We love these sandals!

I loved this sandal for the summer as I it was really comfortable for everyday. It really lets your feet breathe. Also used them for water sports like white water rafting.

My kids loved these shoes even more than their previous models due to the improved ease of getting the shoes on/off. This shoe has a velcro strap which is easily adjustable.

I bought these for my son to wear at the beach and to begin wearing for the school year. They are great shoes. They are perfect for school as they cannot wear sandals to school, so he can wear these during the warmer months and still protect the toes while on the playground. I got them a size bigger so he could wear later in the fall along with socks. They are easy for him to take off and on, which is a plus, since he cannot tie his shoes yet. I will definitely be buying another pair of these next summer!

My daughter loves these sandals. She can put them on without help. The protect her sensitive toes, and she does not need socks. She can run without tripping. We have enjoyed the freedom they have provided in her play. Her flip flops have been officially replaced with this perfect hybrid shoe. I was also pleased with the service. The shoes arrived quickly and with ease.

These youth sandals are fantastic. Beginning with the ease of putting them on. No laces to tie also they have the patented toe protection that no other shoes have as well as the heel protection. They are virtually indestructible. We live in the country and have ranch land. The boys can follow me in their sandals without having to worry about stickers, mesquite thorns, and cactus penetrating their soles. Also, the soles have a special microban antibacterial sole which helps to prevent foot odors. Finally, these Keen sandals have outlasted all other shoes that I have purchased in the past. I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase and the speed with which altrec shipped the product. Everyone at altrec was knowledgeable and friendly.

These shoes are great. My three year old son is wears a pair of Keen snadals that have been passed down from his two older brothers and they look brand new (after I wash the mud off of them). We live in northern Maine on a lake and the shoes are the best for water fun. They wear them to play baseball/soccer in the yard, for hiking in the woods, riding bike, swimming in the lake. They rise off easily. A must have for summer.
