Very roomy and I love all the compartments. The bag is very adjustable. I have a short torso and long legs. And, there's lots of padding. I LOVE the color (I went with the russet color.) Can't wait to take it on a trip in a few weeks!!

great bag
May 27, 2011

Bought this bag for my son's 5 week trip in South America. When it arrived, I was afraid it wouldn't be big enough. But I was very wrong! It held everything he needed, plus his sleeping bag! He said he kept putting things in it, but it wasn't filling up!! Several people had good remarks about it when they were all loading up to leave. Just guessing about the durability, but it seems very well made....we'll have to wait and see on that one :-)

Pros: Great design, Ease of use, Great value

Everything you need.... plus a great price

I love this backpack... extremely customizable. I have long legs and short upper body so it was great to be able to adjust things accordingly. TONS of space for the 4 day hike in the grand canyon. I saved $60 on this backpack buying from Altrec (through Amazon)... I had previously purchased this pack from REI but returned it after seeing what a great deal this was.

Coyote 80
February 03, 2011

This pack is perfect for week-long or even ten day excursions into the wilderness. It is very durable and easy to use. The suspension and adjustment systems are top notch. When adjusted right the weight feels centered and surprisingly light. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the ventilation was for a cheaper pack like this. I found the hip-belt comfortable and the number of pockets and straps just about right. The easy-access front zip is really nice for finding stuff at the bottom of the pack. Basically if your a low-frills kind of person like me, this pack is all you need for your wilderness adventures.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great value

Great Pack!

I absolutely love this pack. I had plenty enough room for my 12 day hike. Comfort and function all bundled up in one nice backpack. Lots of space for anything you would need to carry. Would highly recommend this pack to anyone looking for a reliable solid backpack for any size hike.

Great pack!

Sturdy, roomy and very easy to adjust to fit. My 100 lb. son took it (with 35 lbs. worth of stuff inside)on a 30- mile scout hiking trip and said the padded straps were very comfortable. He had no sore spots or kinks, which is a big plus for us.

Very well built, nice loook

The bag is very well made and looks very sturdy. A lot of adjustment can be made to fit my posture. Padding is all around and it feels very comfortable.
