Kelty Gunnison 4.1 Footprint
September 17, 2010
This is a must for putting under your Kelty tent. The tent bottom is just not heavy enough to give adequate protection. I used this footprint over 6 days of camping in the Adirondacks during which we had heavy rains on three nights and never had water in the tent. I roll my footprint up with my tent (after hanging and drying) with minimal weight gain. It still fits in the stuff sack that comes with the tent. Good product made by Kelty maybe they should sell it with the tent.
Pros: Build quality, Performance, Ease of use
Cons: Cost
It's just a footprint, but you need one!

Yep, it's a footprint and a good one. If you have the Kelty Gunnison 4.1 tent, you need the footprint or your tent floor will suffer. I think tents should come with footprints, though, like the Sierra Designs Electron Tent does.
