Don't Miss Out on this Bag!
May 26, 2010
First off, received the bag almost as soon as I ordered! It is lightweight, comfy and just right for hot and humid weather with foot zipper and the dry cool climate I expect to use for Scout summer camp! The compression bag makes this a must buy and will fit with room to spare in backpack for hiking. Can't go wrong with this one!

Keeps you warm. Floor zipper a plus.
Warm and cozy.

Used this bag on a recent trip into the Wind Rivers. Temps got down into the thirties, and I didn't have to burrow down at all to keep warm. I love how small the bag packs down as well. There was actually extra room in my sleeping bag compartment. All in all, good bag for the price.
light and compact

This is my first "light" sleeping bag...threw out the old clumpy flannel one...it stuffs small and I love how light it is.
Light, comfortable, affordable

This is my first "real" sleeping bag. The bag is very soft (due to the down), compresses very well, and is light for the warmth ratio. I have yet to use it in the back country, but it seems like it will do a great job.
Packs extremely small, very light

I was looking for an affordable bag that packs down light. For budget and space crunchers this is it! The compression sack packs down to the size of a large cantaloupe!
Comfort rating is spot on

I had a chance to use this Kelty Bag for two nights in the low 30º to high 20ºs last week. I think it works pretty well for its "Comfort" rating, which is 32º. The bag seems well made, the stuff sack was easy to get the bag into, and the storage sack stores it without much compression at all. I was warm, there were no cold spots or drafts, and the hood baffle and draw strings worked very well. The "Regular" sized bag fits me perfectly, but I'm not a very big guy at 5'9" and 140lbs. It seems to me that if you were any bigger it'd be a squeeze. All things considered, I'm pretty thrilled with the cost/performance of the bag and I expect to get years of use out of it.Pros: Build quality, Performance, Ease of use
Great for the price

i took it with me on a two week trip this past july through the sierras. slept in a variety of climates ranging from 6,000 ft to 12,000 and the bag did its job and kept me very warm at high altitude but i was still able to open it up and stay comfortable during warmer nights . its extremely light and packs down pretty small. i would recommend it to anyone trying to save money but wants a quality bag.
Great upgrade bag

Bought this bag to replace my piece of junk Bass Pro Shop sleeping bag. Took it on a 4 day 3 night trip into Colorado's Beaver Creek Wilderness. Average lows were in the high 40s. This bag kept me so warm that I actually began to sweat. The zipper near the feet is a good concept but didn't do anything to keep me cooler. The bag is rated at 20 degrees and I slept in temps much warmer than that which is why I began to sweat (plus I'm a warm sleeper). Overall a great bag and compresses very small. I would recommend it to a friend!
Nice bag at this price

I have not had the chance to run this bag through the full gamut yet but it is lightweight and comfortable, hood cinches nicely, zipper works well, and the foot zipper has proven to work well for a warm sleeper. This is a nice, well priced down bag.
